Papa John’s Pizza

Ordered a large pie and two orders of wings. My son found hair in his slice. Really guys!!! Then they wanted me to come back to replace the pie free of charge. How about you credit my account a free large pie for another time. Its 6 degrees outside and you want me to come back.

So, after 30 + deliveries without a problem from them, i have to issue low grades now due to a delivery boy he clearly needs a brain for not finding my building on a major street and then bringing my food back to them. they claimed some issue with my phone number, which is pointless considering the dozens of times i had no issues with delivery. Interesting that a delivery for my gluten free wife made it without an issue from a place ½ mile away. In the end, i had to drive for 20 minutes, listen to kids complain about no food and than eat cold pizza to boot. Nobody offered me anything to make up this screw up to me and they did not even remove the $ 2 tip that was on my card.
They probably lost a customer over this. just wow.

The pizza from this particular Papa John’s joint has been the best out of any I’ve had from there chain. It’s also my favorite one out of the other chains such as Domino’s or Pizza Hut. This joint also has better deals other Papa John’s in the area.
One time I called another Papa John’s and asked how come they don’t have the same deal as the one in Valley Stream? The staff member at the phone said they were trying to get the same deals that Valley Stream has. Come here for the cheaper pizza and better tasting pizza!

Okay I suppose? They weren’t anything special. The wallpaper is coming off and the place is run down. They have no effort and there are only 2 people working here. Pizza was okay, but they do not put a lot of topping.

Before I write a review, I will state I am of South Asian descent, & I will openly state this is a non-​biased review. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! AVOID.
I order frequently from Papa John’s. All of my past orders always exclude bacon, as a note. I ordered a Large Buffalo Chicken Pizza — Thin Crust without bacon & onion, but added extra cheese & extra breaded chicken. Within 20 minutes, I receive my order, I tipped on my card. I open the pizza to see bacon on the pizza, masses of it.
To my displeasure, I call Papa Johns right away, and let them know there was bacon on my pizza. The guy states that bacon wasn’t written to be excluded & that it’s not his problem. I ask to speak to a supervisor & he wouldn’t connect me at all. Instead, he ignored it & continued to try to «alleviate» my situation by further insulting me.
Then I tell him, on my 03÷28÷14 order, I ordered the same thing without bacon. This order is a replica, without bacon. I can not nor can my family eat bacon because of religious reasons
. He once again says he won’t replace the pizza, and I tell him, does he need proof I do not eat that pizza? Should I go to the store & personally throw it out to prove it? I can bring in the pizza in-​store & refuse it. He says, «Wow,» laughing, «Why are you throwing out good food? I’m trying to be nice to you, going to offer to replace your pizza, and you’re going to throw it out. Who asked you to throw it out?»
I tell him, «I might as well throw it out because the past five minutes you kept on insisting you would not replace my pizza when I know for a fact I removed bacon, that’s the first thing I removed.»
I basically wasted $ 2.00 on a delivery fee, just to have my Dad & brother drive back to replace the pizza, and a tip on my credit card I shouldn’t have given.
These people are rude, and I know for a fact they were South Indian descent as well & do not care. I do not trust that they make these pizzas with care, and lack customer service & respect. DO NOT ORDER.

If you’re buying a Papa John’s pizza in the NY metropolitan area, then I suppose you deserve the soft, doughy, just-​defrosted tasteless product that you’ll get here.
There’s not much else to say. It’s as bad as any Papa John’s anywhere.
