Everything was cool, you know, the IHOP experience. Except… hold on.
Our wait this time was about five minutes (I’ve waited much longer at this branch).
My omelette was as usual huge and tasty.
So huge that I requested a takeaway box. My server brought the box and proceeded to pack my omelette. A salsa sauce came with it and was just sitting on the table as I’m not much of a salsa fan.
Server: you want this?
Me: no thanks
Server: you didn’t touch it did you?
Me (strange look on my face): arrmmmm no.
Server then secures salsa in her hand and proceeds to kitchen.
Me: NAH! TELL ME SHE AIN’T TAKING THAT TO BE SERVED TO ANOTHER DINER!
Please IHOP, Say it ain’t so. I did some heavy breathing while dinning okaaaay. I’m allll over that salsa.
Three stars because I have no proof of what was done to the salsa. I have an idea, but no proof… and court clothes.

This place is ok if youre sitting down to eat, DO NOT GET TAKE OUT FROM THIS LOCATION. My first time ordering take out from this location was a disaster (about a year ago) missing eggs, missing fries, missing cinnamon filling on my cinna stack. ok i figured this was just a bad day. Yesterday 6÷12÷16 we ordered and again there was a problem, missing pancake from 1 order and very cheap with cinnamon filling for cinna stack and for the second time no creamy icing. Also forgot our toast. I wont dine or get takeout from here im done. Manhasset ihop, Westbury ihop, Commack ihop, Ralph av ihop, Liberty av ihop are far superior even Freeport ihop which is also on Sunrise highway is superior.

I already love IHOP’s food. Especially when the service is good and the price is right. I experienced All of that at this IHOP location. 20 minutes before closing, I called in a to-​go order that I wanted to pick up in 4 minutes. The Manager, Mr. Kevin, hooked me up. I was calling the meal I wanted by the wrong name, but he knew exactly what I meant. I arrived as the cook whipped out my pancakes all hot and yummy. I asked for extra napkins, so Mr. Kevin went into the attic to get a box of them, and handed me a wad. Thank you! Cuz the food looked so good, I was either gonna need all those napkins or I was gonna be licking all my fingers repeatedly (yum yum)!
summary: The food made me wanna slap my step-​mama; and the staff were Extremely friendly and considerate. (even at 10 minutes to closing No One rushed me, in fact they told me to take my time).

This IHOP is one of the better ones on Long Island. The food is always very good and the service is excellent. Of course the wait for a table can be quite long on weekend mornings… and occasionally during the week it can become crowded quickly.
Having dined here for over 20 years, I’ve never had an experience that wasn’t pleasant. The food is always prepared exactly as I prefer and the quality is standard for this restaurant franchise.
Finding parking can be a headache, as the lot fills up very quickly and the streets have restrictions. I recommend coming on the off-​peak hours if possible.
The servers are always friendly and accommodating, and the prices are reasonable.
I recommend this International House of Pancakes restaurant.

Service sucks. Waited a half hour dor the waitress to tell us she doesn’t know if she’s handling our table. 10 minutes later another waitress takes care of us.
On top of everything, the parking sucks, they weren’t sitting anyone without a full party.
Don’t come here. Completely disorganized, disaster of a place.

I think it’s pretty cool that you can get breakfast at any time. The food is not superb, but it’s not terrible either. Service is usually friendly… but if you try and visit in the morning on the weekend you’re probably going to be waiting a while. Prices are about what you would pay at any local diner.

Came here for breakfast on my birthday, the waitress was very nice and friendly. The food came really quick and tasted sooo good. The red velvet pancakes were really good, I recommend them. I did the combo and got hash browns and sausages, I didn’t want any egg so I got extra hash brown and it was only about $ 10 – 12 bucks for that combo. The prices are very fair, here is good for a nice quick breakfast. Both me and my BF enjoyed our food !! The only thing my boyfriend didn’t like was that there was Valet Parking, he thought that was odd for a ihop and didn’t like that requirement. So we parked nearby but not in the parking lot.

The worst place. The management is incompetent. They can’t keep track of guest coming in. He telling everyone a half hour. That’s bullshit. We’ve been waiting for over 1 hour.
Should have went to Long Beach Ihop. Better service there.
Whatever you do… do not go to Ihop on Sunrise Highway.

Slow service on a slow Thursday afternoon, place wasn’t even half full. All staff talking and sitting down while people waiting for them with dirty tables and orders. Food was also cold when arrived.

Terrible service. We were told that the wait would be 15 minutes but we ended up waiting about 30 minutes to be seated before giving up and left. Granted that the place was crowded, we stood there stareing at empty tables that simply needed to be cleaned so we can sit down. Waitresses were eating while on the floor with their hands and the chef throws recipes on to food that’s about to go out to customers. As we stood there waiting, we could see dishes literally lined up and ready to go out but the staff was so slow to bring food to everyone’s table. All the food was backed up and dishes were just sitting there for 15 minutes getting cold before a waitress would bring them to their table. This place was just a bad experience overall. Don’t waste your time going here like we did.

I really do enjoy this Ihop. For some reason out of all the Ihops I have been to, this one seems to give me bigger portions of food. More bang for my buck. The waiters are nice sometimes, the food is always great. Its very clean, but very small. I feel like they should expand. For the location they are in, with so many residents, they should have a bigger space. It gets very crowded in this location during lunch time. Oh and on the weekends they have valet parking, so beware. You can choose to park on the street if you want. Since its super close to my house I would have no problems returning.

Early bird catches the valet service for their parking lot only!!! Something new they doing which is cool!
It’s best to get here early because the waiting be crazy especially on Sundays!!!
Today I got here early and I got seated as soon as I walked in which was super! My waitress Valentin was very professional and friendly! The service here I see has improved! The food came out quickly and tasty!

I was enjoying my breakfast until I drank water and noticed a «whitish like blob» on the tip of the glass on the other side if where my mouth was. Ewwwww! My appetite was completely lost and I didn’t eat the reminder of my breakfast. I know sometimes you need pathogens and bacteria to enjoy your food but damn son! I can understand this from a Deli but not a Corporate Eatery such as IHOP. Disgusting!
Staring out the window due to the Depression of my breakfast didn’t help things. I saw flies on the window and it was also smudged with grease and God only knows what that was.
I remember when this place was a 5 star class IHOP as soon as it burnt down it turned to chaos.

Trina, our waitress was sweet and knowledgable. The place definitely cleaned up. I don’t know why is it that I get the same booth almost every time. No smelly floors or sticky table. Major plus.
Diabetics beware! Do NOT try the holiday drinks. Not even my two boys were able to drink 1⁄3 of the little mug. I kept adding hot water to mine but gave up.
Bottom line? I’ll come more often.
