Nothing worth driving for if you are coming from San Diego. Yes, my husband enjoyed the unlimited lobster but that’s about it. Pricing is a little more than all the other casino buffets at $ 32.95 a person and the buffet is about half the size of most others. Not too many choices. Price does not include any alcoholic beverages. On the plus side I gambled and won back the money I had spent on the buffet!

Haven’t been here for several years. I remember it being great. Not true anymore. Crab and lobster taste frozen and bland. Food was greasy, not warm, and generally passable at best. I won’t come back!

For a non-Vegas buffet, this is a 4 star place. Lobster Tails, Crab Legs. Crab Legs were not too salty like most places. Prime Rib was alright. Lots of choices that should please most eaters out there. I ate like a pig tonight. $ 32.99 for the price of admission on the weekends, cheaper on the weekdays on Mon to Thurs if you are one of those that are lucky and able to go.

My husband and I came to Valley View Casino last Saturday for a kid-free late Anniversary celebration. I honestly wasn’t impressed. We arrived at 5pm, and the line for the buffet was so long it went out into the isle and the end of it was near the slot machines. We stood in what we found out was the«VIP line» for about 15 minutes before we got close enough to actually see the sign. We hopped over to the other line and waited another 25 minutes before we even paid. It was close to $ 67 for my husband and I, which is to be expected for and all you can eat Lobster buffet. The dining area was very crowded! I felt like we were dining with the other guests there and it was hard to have a conversation… Definitely not a date night atmosphere. I was disappointed to see that their selection of food was just like that of any other buffet… Only with crab legs and lobster. I had a hard time finding food that I actually wanted to eat so I settled for a huge plate of crab legs(that were already cut and easy to get the meat out, SCORE!) and some other random comfort foods. I was really excited for the deserts, they had a great selection of desserts! I definitely ate my $ 33 in deserts alone. I was a little disappointed to see that they didn’t have French macaroons like I saw in some of the pictures, but I got over it when I saw the vast selection of deserts they did have. I was surprised at how rude everyone was, people just had no common courtesy and reach around or over your plate to grab things. It was like a feeding frenzy with impatient people. Overall I don’t think I would return to Valley View Casino for their buffet… Or at all. My husband and I remembered hearing that they had one of the best rated casino buffets and I honestly cannot see why. We have been to Harrah’s buffet several times and it never disappoints, but we got Valley View and Harrah’s mixed up. I wish we would have remembered that the great buffet we had been to was at Harrah’s and not at Valley View.

I definitely like this buffet and so does my family. If you join the players club you only pay $ 20 per person for the lobster dinner. The food is great, the staff is friendly and it is also very clean. Sometimes with a buffet people can get messy but this place is always immaculate. They have everything from lobster tails, crab legs, sushi, noodles, pasta, prime rib, friend chicken and of course a great selection of desserts and that’s only half of what they have. It is one of my favorite buffets when it comes to the California casinos. It can get busy on weekends, the best time to go is during the week, never a line to wait.

This was a first time for me, lets start at the beginning. The lines are long and the wait time could be a little bit of an exaggeration, so get there early before it opens! After i was seated the server was kind and generous to get our drinks and butter, for the all you can eat lobster, then i preceeded to get food. Food quality was okay, needed more seasoning wich most of the food i got could use some. The lobster you get was overall great. Downside of it is you get one tail cut in half per person, so imagine having to get up 4 – 5 times wich could be a pain in the… Unfortunately, i know the chef and he gave me a plate full of lobster tails! I enjoyed every one of them! Definitely satisfied.

Not a big fan of buffets. I just feel they concentrate on quantity over quality, however this place evens both of those out. I have been to plenty of buffets in Vegas and this one would par well with some of the best over there. It cost us $ 20 a person through a special. That is an amazing price for unlimited fresg crab legs and lobster! Everything was delicious. I just cant complain. I take that back sushi was meh. The crab legs are cold but pass them to the cook and he will heat them up for you. Oh and they are all ready opened for you! Awesome. The lines i hear are usually terribly long. We came on a holiday so there was no line.

I had to give this buffet a 4 stars. Not because it has such high quality food, but because of the all you can eat lobster. This buffet is not bad at all. They have plenty of seafood(oysters, mussels, crab and LOBSTER!). The quality of the seafood is okay, maybe 3.5 stars. The oysters and mussels were small and somewhat discolored. I skipped the mussels and oysters just because it didn’t look as fresh and I wanted to avoid getting sick. The crabs were sliced in half, which made it easier to eat. The lobster, while quite small, was still pretty good especially when dipped in pulled butter! I didn’t eat as much of the cooked food, but what I did have was tasty. They had the usual Asian section, Italian section and so forth. The desserts were actually pretty good. They had cupcakes, ice cream, cheesecake, etc. The service was excellent! They consistently checked up on us and we’re always clearing plates. Don’t forget to tip buffet workers more… I just think they work harder than those who don’t work at buffets.

Ok, NOKIDSALLOWED! I made the mistake of driving here with the kids in the summer only to be turned away. I was dying for AYCE lobster, but no dice for me. I was promptly turned away at the door by the security guard. 6 months later we try again without the kids and we find out that the buffet is open from 4 – 8:30 but only $ 20 if each person signs up for the free players club membership(as opposed to the normal $ 32.99). So we get in line at 4:45 with about 60 people ahead of us and then they close the line at 5:30 because there are too many people in line. We finally get seated at 6:30 and the servers were nice. It was worth the wait. You get one lobster tail at a time, but the line goes quickly and the lobster is always ready to go. Our party of nine each had at least 6 tails, not to mention countless servings of prime rib, crab legs, shrimp and desserts. The sushi isn’t worth it and the other entrees, while the looked good, we’re not the star of the buffet. The place is a bit out of the way so be prepared for a drive. Also valet is free but there is a long line. Self park is close and free too. Suggestions for next visit. Go early. Self park. Get free soda in the casino while you wait. Get players club membership. Eat up and tip your server well. Go with friends.

I come here pretty often with my parents. They like to play and I like to eat so it works out. This in one of my favorite casino buffets due to the amount of seafood they offer. The lobster tail is the star of the show, but in addition to that they also have oyster, sushi, and crab legs. I always get a couple of lobster tails and they’re pretty good. Not super high quality, but they are tasty for sure. I’ve seen the many evolutions of how they serve their lobster tail — it used to be one full tail dipped in butter(unless you don’t like butter). Now, they serve the tail in two pieces and you have to ask your server to bring butter at your table. I gotta say I’m not a fan of the«two pieces» thing bc the quality has decreased. Last time I came, one piece would be great and easy to de-meat from the shell, but the other piece would be well done. I think they might have made the change so they can cook faster, but the quality and consistency has suffered with this change. I am not as keen on the lobster tail as before. My cholesterol level can thank me later. Still, there’s plenty more to eat. The sushi here is pretty authentic but I try not to eat too much since rice can fill me up quickly. The crab legs, however, are on the more salty side. I prefer Sycuan’s crab legs. These definitely aren’t as meaty — they’re pretty meager — but at least they are served already cut in half. I don’t usually eat oyster but my parents seem to like it here, so I take that as a good sign. I also enjoy the pastas, coconut shrimp, and meat carving station. I always make sure to leave room for dessert. Their desserts are constantly rotating but there are lots of mainstays as well. Just to name a few — there’s crème brûlée, mini crepes, bananas foster, cakes, pies, sugar-free desserts, fudge pieces, fruit, and a chocolate fountain. Yeah. I feel very guilty after raiding the dessert station but I’ll just blame it on my sweet tooth. I usually also get a scoop of ice cream on a come on my way out. The quality of the food is quite good here and you’re bound to find something that tickles your fancy. Despite the change in the lobster tail, I would still return.

It’s been a while since my last update, but every place deserves a refresher. The good news is this buffet is still 5 stars! Since we’ve become Silver level on the players club, we get to use the VIP line. Honestly, it we ever dropped down a level, we may not eat there as much because the main line still takes a while. That being said, the food is still top notch. One of my favorites is they’ll grill the prime rib to your liking. Just ask for well done, and then check back a few minutes later — and it’s done! Great touch. The drinks are always at our table when get back from the first buffet visit. Something I can’t say for other nearby Casino buffet’s. Food is always hot, fresh(because they are so busy it has to be refreshed often), and filling. Love the ice cream! Keep it up Valley View! You’re doing a great job!

For 32.99 you can have all you can eat lobster tail. In this November The Buffet even offer $ 20 from Mon thru Thur dinner time. You can’t beat that price. Though one tail at a time, you can visit as many time as you like and the line was not long. The tail was good. The prime rib looked over cook but actually very tender and well seasoned. However, I felt it taste like a ham more than a prime rib. There were middle sliced snow crab leg. The other food were just regular buffet fair. The lobster tail was the main highlight. Others were not so important. The chocolate fountain was no longer there. The sushi used refrigerated rice and the fish was very thin sliced, not interested. I had to drive all the way from Orange county so I would not make it a habit but once a while was still fun.

It’s your typical casino buffet except they have lobster for dinner here daily! Although they give you one tail at a time you can go up as many times as your heart or should I say stomach desires! I haven’t been here in a while but this time around made me remember what I love about this place. They have your basic Mexican cuisine, Asian inspired goodies, good olé turkey or prime rib dinner, crab legs, and a huge selection of dessert for those that love a sweet bite to end their meal! Delicious is an understatement. Their Asian section is my favorite by the way, just to highlight one of the best dishes for me is the tempura shrimp-cooked and crisped to perfection!!! I’m not a fan of cold crab legs but I didn’t know you can have one of the cooks stir fry some up(in the Asian section). Next time around. They have a promotion going on, I don’t know for how long though-so get in while you can. They’re offering the lunch buffet for $ 10 on Monday through Thursday; lobster dinner for $ 20. You just have to sign up for a player card-otherwise it’ll cost you $ 32.99 for dinner. The only reason I didn’t leave 5 stars was because of the cashier, I honestly wish I would’ve gotten her name because she was just plain… rude. I kind of felt bad for a few customers ahead of me who got it the worst. Luckily for me she didn’t give off a bad attitude-I sure was ready for it though. ;)

Relatively small, but pretty tasty buffet in this casino, for a song. I’m not a big fan of buffets in general, but I found stuff to like here. The Buffet is «famous» for their lobster(usually, cooked lobster tails with butter though I’m told they also have spicy asian-style lobster) and the brunch I went to(weekends til around 1) also featured prime rib. Both of these items are unlimited, so obviously there are people eating many plates of these foods alone. I am not one of those folks, but it definitely hit the spot. Overall the selections of all the hot food and even salads are not bad. The dessert selection is not a 5 when I went, but I’ll give it 4 stars and the ice cream(9 flavors to choose) in a waffle cone was pretty tasty. They have a chocolate fountain which is a pretty rad feature, but I literally saw zero people hit it up at noon, and part of the problem was they only had chocolate marble scones to dip in it, which was not nearly as cool as the stuff I’ve typically had with a chocolate fountain… we’re talking brownie bites, pound cake or cheesecake bites, and marshmallows. If they had that I might give this place 5 stars. Since I was there for brunch, I saw mostly lunch items and very little in the way of actual breakfast, but who am I kidding I was there for the lobster and prime rib so I didn’t really seek out scrambled eggs, pancakes, and waffles. Nothing against those, I love breakfast as much as the next guy! And there was an omelette station and nobody really went there to get one, so it couldn’t hurt if that’s your craving. As it were, I was enjoying a free buffet that they’d sent me a voucher for in the mail, as a monthly thank you. They used to give it to you just for signing up to their Player’s Club, now you gotta come back. or «earn» it through player points which is pretty hard. But all in all it was a good meal and hit the spot, I’d go back and try it again. However, the food overall is half a notch below the entrees you can order off the menu at the Lounge. So if you’re really craving high-end food and you’re already in this establishment, I say give the Lounge your business first. The line to get in the Buffet on a Saturday was small/nonexistent, but as I was leaving it was growing, maybe 15 – 20 minutes. I suggest going sometime between 10 — noon on a weekend if you want there to be little to no line. Service was OK… not bad but no complaints. Seating was fine but didn’t like being sat at a square table for four with extra chairs, in which seemed to be a high traffic area, as no less than 5 people banged my table with their knee during the meal, nearly knocking over my beer a couple of times. Soft drinks are free and alcohol is extra. They only have 4 kinds of beer, so don’t really get your hopes up… if memory serves, Bud Light, Budweiser, Heineken, and Corona. or something like that. But if you’re really craving that awesome cocktail hit up the casino bar on your way in. And coffee, juice, etc was also free… of course. Ambiance/comfort: 3 Food selection(overall): 3.5 Food quality(overall): 4 Taste(entrees): 4 Taste(desserts): 4 Service: 4 Overall: 3.75… I’m a fan, boy.

6÷6÷15: All You Can Eat Lobster. Yes, AYCELOBSTER!!! …How I longed to come back here… I came here about 2 years ago. The whole drive here, and such a long drive it was!, I was just thinking it couldn’t be that good right? As you know, most all you can eat anythings ain’t as good as standard fare. And lobster… probably the most coveted crustacean for most Americans… it gotta be pretty crappy right? Well, boy was I wrong!!! I think that buffet was The Very Best Buffet EVER. Yeah, I’ve tried all the most expensive ones in Vegas… Bellagio, Wynn, Cosmopolitan, etc., like pretty much all the big ones. And this unknown Indian casino stuffed deep into the mountains of CA had the better buffet! Not only was the lobster better than that found in most restaurants in CA at any price(granted, I haven’t tried ones on the East Coast, which I would imagine would be quite a bit better), all the other items they had were excellent! It was absolutely unbelievable – it would be a feat in itself that the lobster was good, but everything was good! No, not good, awesome!!! Now fast forward to today, 2 years later, sigh… so disappointing. No longer the best. Still good, but not great. And many of the non-main stuff just ain’t that grade – maybe Home Town Buffet level. Seriously. Oh, and they raised the price. If I remember correctly it was around $ 25 back then. Today it was around $ 33 /person. Not it’s starting to get into high-end Vegas territory(though they don’t got lobster). The Lobster: They changed the recipe on the lobster. No longer served from a big huge vessel of butter, but now just plain steamed.(If some idiot health nuts complained about the abundance of butter, well, I hope karma takes care of them.) The lobster is still okay like that though – still soft, but just wasn’t epic anymore. Wasn’t 5-star restaurant killer no more. Was 10, but I think now just 7⁄10. Other Main Stuff: Prime rib, roasted pork… was good enough. I did like the pork – very succulent and generous with the fat, just the way I like it. The ribs were a let down though. Mine were quite dry. Didn’t bother with the turkey. Crab legs! – they did have that. The standard frozen kinds, but was still good. Not the highest grade, but good enough. Had oysters too, but as a rule I never eat those at AYCE places. Sides: They got your typical stuff like sausage, various vegetables, fish, fried chicken, etc. Like I said, Home Town Buffet quality.(And again, it wasn’t always like that… was soooo good before. So sad.) Dessert: I think their pastry chefs are better than their standard ones. I was examining a slice of pie and a chef asked me if he could help. Told him I was just contemplating what I should get and he said to me in a French accent that what I was looking at was sugar-free. Oh god. I thanked him and ran away from that evil location. Got me some other good looking desserts and the were REALLY good! Maybe not as fancy looking as Bellagio’s but certainly just as well made! Was impressed. So, bottom line, not The Best no more. Sad. Anyway, I think my friend managed to eat around 15 of those lobsters and maybe 5 – 10 crab legs. And about 2 packages worth of blackberries. Pretty sure he ate more than $ 100 worth of raw ingredients. So…, guess it’s still a great deal, despite the decline.(But the old memories were so epic…) 4⁄5. #ayce #buffet #aycelobster #casino

I like coming here because they have an excellent players club program. Stephen, his mother and I seem to get the free buffet offers to lure us back to gamble some more. On this particular visit, I was given two complementary lobster buffets or a $ 40 dining credit. We brought Stephen’s father to join us and had the dinner buffet on a Tuesday night. We ate at 6:00PM and the place was not busy at all. It was very nice to actually have elbow room while walking from the table to the food. Unfortunately because we were eating midweek, the buffet was not filled with food like they do on the weekends. Stephen commented that the dessert buffet was quite limited. I have to agree as my favorite chocolate covered strawberries were not displayed, and I had to ask an employee to go to the kitchen to get me some. For dinner, the Valley View Casino offers complimentary lobsters at the buffet. You can choose between steamed lobster, or stuffed lobster. They also have king crab legs, shrimp cocktail, and sushi as additional seafood choices. Not into seafood? They also have a carving station with prime rib and turkey, Chinese food, American food ranging from fried chicken to stew, Mexican food, and even a huge soup and salad bar. They have a wide selection of sugar-free products, and even gluten-free products. Yes buffet truly has something for everyone. Dinner prices are normally $ 32.99 per person. Having that dinner comped by the casino is great, even though technically after we ate I spent more than that in the machines! Thumbs up to Valley View Casino.
