My family and I frequently visit Harrah’s and our normal go-to restaurant would be the buffet. We tried this restaurant to switch things up to see what else Harrah’s had to offer. What caught my attention about the restaurant was the façade of the restaurant. Very unique and stood out. They have a menu outside the restaurant to draw people. The menu offers a variety of Asian food which is appealing but the taste is subpar. I feel like they haven’t perfected the taste of each cuisine. I tried the pad Thai and the noodles were disgustingly slimy and the sauce could not save the taste or texture in my mouth. I also tried the chicken wings which tasted overwhelming dry and had no flavor whatsoever. What’s disappointing is that family style servings the portions were small and personal sized. For the price they charge you would expect something better. Overall, the food tasted like stale buffet food. In addition to the food the service was absolutely horrible. I was with a large party and we were the only people in the restaurant. We were seated outside and the employees sat around inside casually chatting with one another. Ourwaiter did not actively check on us or give us refills. It was a disappointment considering its under Harrah’s name.

Waiter was really nice. Which was the only reason why I gave this place a one star. I honestly feel that for a place with a demographic of 75% Asians that gamble and eat here, they should have decent food. I am sorry to say food is nasty here. The casino needs to do something about this.

The service was poor the waiters didn’t even give enough menus. But the food was good.

Meh. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because our server was delightful, friendly, attentive, and had a huge smile. Ordered shrimp Kung Pao and crab fried rice. The kung Pao had a pretty good sauce, but it consisted mostly of water chestnuts(bleh) and virtually no veggies. Since Chinese food consists mostly of veggies, this was highly disappointing even in a drunken state of mind. What was even more disappointing was finding chicken in the dish. As a pescatarian this is a huge no-no. The crab fried rice was without crab. Okay maybe one big chunk but that doesn’t constitute a $ 15 price tag. Should have ordered the shrimp rice instead so that was I could have seen the protein chunks. Would suggest to get your Chinese food at the buffet instead. A better value there(and probably my taste too).

Food was delicious, but service before we sat down was terrible. First of all, we walked directly to the hostess table and asked for a booth. Waitress told us 5 minutes for a booth to clean up, that was not the issue. Then another waitress asked us to wait ouside in the line, but told her there was no sign or line in the front. So she said ok. Next emplyee said to go outdide, leaving me irritated and customers behind me irtitated. In the future, please place a sign by the entrance stating this. Plus I noticed if you are not chinese, you will not be served fast. A lot of old school Asians work… and need to learn the«Do’s & Dont’s» of customer service. Will not ever eat here again unless someone else orders it togo.

This is not a true Chinese restaurant as they do offer many Vietnamese dishes as well. From what I remember, the menu was also in Vietnamese. There is a variety of soups, noodles, rice dishes, fried rice, seafood, and more. There was rice noodle soup and egg noodle soup with a variety of diff meat, kimchi fried rice, pad see ew noodles, different stir fried veggies and meats. I recommend the honey glazed walnut shrimp. It has a unique flavor as it it glazed on top of a bed of cooked pineapple and honeydew. The service was great, we got seated immediately, ordered quickly, and the food got out to us quickly too. The food is overall not too extraordinary but the variety makes up for everything.

Mr Chow: Good cooks always result being as beggars… Mr Chow: I’m the real«God of Cookery». Health Inspector: Mr. Chow, more than 50 customers feel sick after eating beef at your restaurant. The God of Cookery Pretty fancy looking Asian fusion type restaurant! Didn’t feel like stuffing myself at the buffet so I thought I’d try some Chinese food. I ordered the salt and pepper wings. The style was similar to Golden Chopsticks with no batter. Loved the flavor and the crunchy skin. Very good flavor! :-) You get more wings for a lower price at Golden Chopsticks but I prefer the flavor of these wings. I also tried the won ton soup. This was a premium version with char sui, shrimp, and chicken. The flavor of the meats was good but a bit muted perhaps from being in the broth too long… The flavor of the egg noodles was good. The won tons could have used more shrimp and I’m not a big fan of the flavor of the pork here. Half shrimp and half pork won tons tend to be more delicious to me with the blend of flavors. Overall this dish was good. The service was good and speedy here. This place is a good alternative if you aren’t hungry enough for the buffet.

Went to stand in line in the buffet, it was a LONG line! So we got out of line and went to Fiore, the wait was 2 hours, so we saw Fortune’s and decided to go there. We were hungry and didn’t care where we ate at this point. My husband was drunk and we all know that Chinese food is amazing when you’re drunk. I thought that maybe the food was so good because we’re drunk, but that wasn’t the case here. We got seated immediately, not much of a wait at all but I noticed that as soon as we got seated, there was a line forming out the door. A lot of stuff was out already since it was later in the evening, but I got the vietnamese coffee and it was delicious, even though I wanted it with Boba and they were out of boba. My husband got the sweet and sour chicken that came with a bowl of white rice. I ordered the BBQ pork fried rice because I don’t think you understand how hard it is to find good pork fried rice in CA. The last time I had perfectly cooked BBQ pork fried rice was in Boston… until I came here! It arrived and i saw that the rice was white so I was disappointed that it looks flavorless, but as soon as I took my first bite, it was delicious. My husband loved it so much, he had his sweet and sour chicken with my fried rice and didn’t even touch the white rice that came with his plate. My husband is kind of short with people when he’s drunk but the waitress was very patient with him when he ordered his food with just a few words. She took our order rather quickly and got us our drinks very fast, in fact, everything arrived rather fast. Considering it was packed in there, I thought they did a great job with customer service. What really stood out about this place is that it offers different types of Asian food, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, etc. It’s very diverse and it works since it’s in a casino and resort, it makes sense to give people those options instead of having a restaurant for each individual cuisine. I was very pleased with everything and will come back here just for the BBQ pork fried rice alone.

Why was I thinking this place was Chinese?! Idk maybe because it says Fortune which equals Fortune Cookies which equals Chinese, but it’s Vietnamese I believe? I’m still puzzled! I ordered the Chicken Lo Mein and I was definitely surprised! Not the typical kind of noodles I was thinking. It was different, but not too bad. I’m not sure what kind of noodles it is or what they do to them, but it was ok. Wish there were more vegetables in it and the sauce is definitely what made the dish! Overall the place was ok, but thank The Lord the customer service was great! Great staff even at 1 am!
