Wonderful selection of sake and beers. It’s not a food festival so there are only small tastings. That means eat before you come. The outdoor patio is chill. And the taiko drummers are energetic. Overall, a great time and a LOT of drinks for not much money. We always have a great time.

This event delivers on Beer and Sake but nothing else. There was barely any food and some of the vendors very opportunistic. A friend accidentally spilled some of his sake on the tail end of a kimono there(beauty by Kiyoko) — the lady made him pay for it. Really??? Your at an alcohol and food event with Kimonos did you really not expect it was going to get dirty even a little were you not going to have it clean it afterwards? if you’ve ever been to a food fest you know the portions of drink they give you there– just tasting not much so you can imagine how little was spilled on this robe that she made a big deal about. She saw an opportunity to take advantage of someone and took it and the organizers of the event where no help either(I have a few words about their attitude but I’d like to keep this review General Audience) I didn’t drink at this event as I was the designated driver I saw it all happen and all I saw was an opportunistic bunch of bad business men and women. He paid for the robe — wasn’t even a kimono it was a mens robe and we left but this event left a bad taste in my mouth. not just because of the experience but none of the food was great. A tuna steak dish with bland mango tasted like they washed all the flavor out of the mango. I sat next to a group and watched them as they made icky faces as they ate it and that was one of the best dishes there. the oyser shooter was ok but really sweet and there was two more food tables — that was it. The best part of the night were the drummers that’s the only part of the evening I enjoyed! It is not worth the admission price and drive to attend this event.
