Giant New York Pizza

Like all places, it’s hit or miss. Unfortunately, it was a miss for me.
I ordered online which stated delivery within 30 – 45 mins. It took them 1 hour and 20 mins to get to my front door and I live 4 blocks away. When I called after an hour, the manager said that if you order online, they can’t promise it will arrive within that time frame. Really? Then why advertise it? Sounds like false advertising.
Then the manager went on to bull shit his way out of it by saying that they don’t receive the orders from online right away. Really? Then why did someone call me 60 seconds after I hit submit, just to tell me that my special request of «ranch» would be 50 cents each. Pretty sure you got my order, literally, right after I hit submit.
Lastly, The pizza was oily as hell, lacking in toppings. I basically just tasted bread and oil, with some bits of meat. I used to work at Round Table, I know how to make a good pizza, this ain’t one of them.
There are plenty of pizza places in Vallejo to choose from, plenty of restaurants to choose from. This place will definitely not be one on the list for me.

I was just delivered a calzone from this place. Have you ever poured out a long forgotten carton of milk you found in the back of the fridge? That’s what was inside it. The ricotta was so rotten and curdled that we could smell it as soon as the driver handed me the box. The owner tried to refuse me a refund based on the argument «I know it’s fine, I’m tasting the ricotta from the fridge right now». Sorry buddy, this ricotta was clearly not out of any fridge, try tasting the stuff your storing in a room temperature bucket under the sink.

*Greasy&soggy* Went there a few years ago and it wasn’t bad but went there tonight and not that it wasn’t fresh or anything it was just super soggy and really greasy.. Plus I ordered a medium and it cost almost 20 bucks?! Really?! Next time when my kid says little ceasers is better I won’t feel bad!

The pizza from Giant NY is as good as Unilocaled. The ingredients were so fresh and delicious… jeez, after years of only RTP, I’d forgotten how good pizza from old school pizza joints can be. Go for it… it’s good!
Sorry other Unilocalsters who had a bad experience, guess they can’t all be home runs. So far, with me, they are batting 1.000. I’ll add more feedback if my experience changes!

Fast servce. A little on the greasy side but overall delicious.

Been coming here for years and I love this place honestly there pizza is soooooo damn good and they have great service every time I come here I’m happy I have never been disappointed after eating there pizza and did I mention that they Deliver and when they do they are always fast so if your looking for hella good pizza at a really great prize don’t miss out on this Amazing pizza place

This is the only place I know of in Vallejo that has real New York style pizza. I stopped in today for a slice to try it out. I was satisfied. Just what I was hoping for. Next time I will probably order a full pizza and pick it up.

This place is just terrible. The pizza was so bland and basic. It tasted like cardboard with a little bit of marinara sauce and «extra» bacon. Bacon makes life complete, it just couldn’t help this pizza. It was so greasy and not even worth it.
I drove by Little Ceasers and Pizza Hut on my way to the pizza place. I would have been 100 times happier had I gone to either one of these places instead.
I ordered online and asked for 2 extra cups of ranch and I didn’t even get 1! Granted, it was only a dollar but I paid for that shit, I expect to receive it!
With my pizza order, I purchased monzarella sticks and even those taste like crap. They were cold and the marinara sauce was so watery. I don’t think anything on their menu is good. Such a huge fucking waste of a cheat day. So disappointed.
I even gave them a tip and they didn’t even thank me. Also when I walked in, I greeted the person behind the cash register and he didn’t even acknowledge me. I looked around and there was a table dirty with used napkins and everything. There was no one here. There’s no way he was busy!
On top of all that, I wore my brand new sweater for the VERY FIRST TIME and grease got on it. They own me a new sweater.
In conclusion, don’t go here.
I will never again go to this place don’t even bother. Seriously, if McDonalds came out with a pizza right now I’d choose them over this place.

Dude cussed me out because I asked for a refund on chicken wings. They came so cooked they were black. Couldn’t give me a refund because they got new machines. He had their driver pick the wings up and she said «Ya if you asked for well done I’d understand.» No. This place is no Bueno. Wish I could give no stars

There are a few reasons you choose to eat at certain restaurants. Proximity, price, service, quality, speed and satisfaction. Well Giant New York Pizza can check each of those boxes.
I work less than five minutes from New York Pizza and it just so happened to be my coworkers birthday. With a short amount of planning time we were able to have a full blown pizza party with a New York cheese cake dessert with garlic cheese sticks to boot. Heck we even had a coupon so we got all that for less than 25 bucks.
The cheese sticks hands down were the best cheese sticks I’ve had in Vallejo and I have lived here for 30 years. The pizza was hot, crust crispy, cheese gooey, sauce (basil pesto) was unique and exquisite, chicken and mushrooms outstanding.
Needless to say not only was my order correct, done in a proper fashion AND also was very delicious if I didn’t have a coupon I would still choose Giant New York Pizza.

If yu want good reasonable pizza deals, with cheesy goodness though out every bite … A bit small in the inside with a 50“flat TV… With a sports game on all the time big plus for sports fans no beer tho… I Dont think anyway… I wouldn’t pass this place up too get Little Caesars for the kidz no more we going to NY Giant PIZZA

Im giving 5 stars. I ordered online and i received a text message right away to inform me it will be a little late due to the store was busy.
But it arrived like 20minutes before the expected time.
The food is great! I ordered the meatball pasta, chicken pesto, strawberry shortcake and a combination pizza. Everything was really good!!!
Definitely will order again! Thank you guys!

After waiting over an hour for our food. The person working there was rude and rushed me off the phone saying they «had 70 orders, 1 cook and 2 drivers» He laughed and hung up the phone. I called back after 1 hour and 45 minutes and the man was even more rude saying he was the only one there and that my food «was almost there“and hung up on me. The wings were burnt and not warm. I’ll never order food from here again.

This is only my second time ordering delivery from this place, the first time I gave them a pass. Over 2 hours waiting for a meatball sub and garlic bread, when it finally arrived i was very unhappy the meatball sub was on a paperplate wrapped with aluminum foil that the cheese seem to be welded too. The meatballs were cut in half drowning in red sauce that soaked the sub so bad i toasted the entire thing away. There wont be a 3^rd try at this place.

I would love to give Fiant New York Pizza more stars. The pizza is fantastic! However, everything else has something that really need to be said.
First of all they do not have any paper menus. Either you have to go to their website or Unilocal to see what they have. The bog problem with their website is that the menu system does not work. As for the Unilocal version… the question is it updated and complete.
We have never stepped foot in the resturant. We only do delivery. If you decide to do delivery be prepared for problems. The pizza will come up to 45 min late or they forgot something in your order. To make things worse, when they order something in their order they do proptly return with the missing item. The only problem is they bring you the wrong thing.
Please give yourself a 2 hour window if you order dilvery here. You will never know what will happen next. If you are holding a party try doing Lav Vegas odds where winner takes all.
One last problem… Fiant New Yaork Pizza is one of the very few pizza places in town that actually has good pizza AND delivers. Seems you cannot have both in this town.

It breaks my heart to give them a 3 star, bc their pizza is really tasty and yummy.
Here is where I have a problem with Giant New York Pizza.
There is a constant inconsistency with their pizza pricing. I have ordered 4 times so far and each time is through delivery and each time I get a different price.
*1^st time: we ordered a medium half vegetarian and half hawaiian, Only bc they couldn’t do half casablanca with Hawaiian. the price was $ 21.97.
**2^nd time: (was actually the next night) The pizza tasted really good, so we wanted to order the same pizza again. Only this time we wanted a large half vegetarian and half hawaiian.
the guy who talked to me couldn’t figure out how much we were charged the night before and had trouble sorting out the price for the large. the total? $ 28.97 Very steep if you ask me, for an 8 slice pizza that didn’t seem much of a difference from the medium size.
***3^rd time: (The following week) We figured, ok so lets just skip the vegetarian and order just a large Hawaiian. the Price? $ 24.97 I asked «Really? for just a two topping pizza?» The young lady who answered the phone said yes, with delivery its $ 24.97.
****4^th time: (You think we would be done by now, but we had guests, and the pizza is delicious, this was three days after the third time) We decided to order a large Casablanca and a large Hawaiian. Well, here’s the shocker folks, The large Hawaiian ended up being $ 18.97 and the large Casablanca was $ 20.97 with our total being $ 43.43. I was shocked. I told the guy on the phone that we were charged much more for the large Hawaiian a few days ago. All the man could say was «Yeah… sorry about that» He didn’t offer to throw in any extras as an apology or anything.
Really disappointed guys. It’s not like we don’t tip the delivery guys well either. I am really upset about how you can’t get the pricing sorted out. Unless they can offer us a better deal, last night was our last night calling.

Got the party large pizza. They didnt use a topper so the cheese got all over the cardboard… im from Chicago this place serves a shitty pie at a high price. AVOID!

Found this place on Unilocal and has high expectations. We placed our order and went to pick it up. The credit card machine was broken, so we had to go to 7 – 11 to get change. We then paid cash and got the ranch which was free of charge for us having to get cash (normally 50 cents a piece).
We got home and is the pizza box. The pizza looked delicious, it had tons of toppings and was hot! Unfortunately, it wasn’t as big as we expected for a large (It looked like a medium to me). And then we took our first bites and the crust wasn’t very crispy. It was cooked all the way through but wasn’t crispy. Overall, it was an okay pizza but I’d rather pay a little more and go back to our usual place.
