Gagas Rollin Diner

Recently i went to this food truck to order a sandwich. I had no idea of the variety of food they have. They have a crab sandwich to die for, they have a french dip where i cant find anywhere local thats worth talking about. They make garlic fry that are out of this world. I can rave enough about this rolling diner. It is a must have !!!

**** Yummy and not your average truck food ****
Yesterday — I experienced an AWESOME crab sandwich from Gagas Rollin Diner. I’m a seafood fiend and crab is my favorite. I love it all different ways– I never met a crab I didn’t like. Anyway one of my co workers was enjoying one last week and said she would get me one in the future without disclosing the name. Armed with Unilocal and being a techie — I knew I would find the crab treasure since I knew it was close to our job. 5 minutes later I had the name, I read 2 Unilocal reviews and I was dialing their number.
This sandwich takes Fenton’s Ice Creamery version to another level with the garlic in the Gagas version. The closest I’ve tasted to this crab sandwich goodness is at the SF Giants home games at Crazy Crabz which are delicious too but on the small size. Gooooooo Giants!!!
Gaga’s crab sandwich is big and full of crab — you are getting your monies worth here people but it’s not for you $ 4 meal deal cheap eat seekers. My sandwich with cheese/​avocado, fries and a can soda ran me $ 17 bucks.
Today I have to have another one — I’ve collect $ 80
dollars as 4 co workers need this experience for Friday.
Gaga is in my short list for a twice a month treat for
lunch.

This food is to die for! have turned everyone at my office onto this delightful truck. sumptuous delights enjoyed thus far… philly cheese steak. heavenly and who would have thought cheesewhiz was sooo gourmet! Crab with avo & cheese to die for but… the french dip with jack cheese and mayo is orgasmic!!! Crispy french fries just an added attraction that I have ordered alone to take home for closet snacking!

As I was returning an auto part at O’Reilly, I noticed Gagas food truck and decided to explore what this food truck had to offer. My friend and I ordered 2 idaho nachos which was simply steak fries, meat [pretty sure the same thinly sliced philly steak they use for their philly melt], your choice of cheese [we both chose cheese wiz], sour cream, olives, green onions and tomatoes. Hungry and extremely excited to take the first bite because the preperation struck my eyes. I was wrong! They overly drenched the cheese on the fries and not enough meat. When I say not enough meat, I mean a sprinkle of meat hidden in the pile of cheese. Overly seasoned for my liking. Shouldn’t food be even more tast when your hungry? Do not be mislead by the pictures, because the presentation of the product is more appealing than it is. Highly disappointed and I have no intentions coming back. Ever.

Crab sandwich is the best my hubby and I favorite thing from galas.
My children Philly steak. They know my 13yr old Cuz she calls pretty darn often to order fries over the phone lol.

Ran across this food cart on my way through Vallejo. The menu is short and to the point, everything is done right. The Philly cheesesteak was the best Philly I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve eaten Phillys in Philly. Definitely worth a stop in you’re in the area. Delicious, fast and inexpensive!

Freaking amazing!!! The Philly Cheese Steak was a winner and the crab sandwich with avocado and cheese was to die for!!! Compliment all that with their garlic fries BOOM!!! You can taste the love in the cooking!!!

I love supporting local business cause it helps our community and less of a drive for me. lol.
Recently ordered the Philly Steak and I must say, that this sucker is Heaven sent. The flavors are mouth watering, bursting at every bite. I never had the chance to put the sandwich down between bites out of fear that it would just walk away. The steak fries are well seasoned and hot and amazing. I am so happy that we have them here in Vallejo.

You will not be disappointed! I’ve tried the Philly cheese, crab sandwich, hot link sandwich & the garlic fries. All are GREAT! The garlic fries were average to me, only bc the fries are skinless steak fry cut & I’m a skinny fry type of gal. If you like thick cut fries then you’ll love them! I’ve been a returning customer since they’ve opened in Vallejo. My favorite is the crab sandwich with the add-​ons. That sandwich in particular is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it!

They gladly take phone orders, which was great. Food was ready in 10 minutes.
Crab sandwich was good! It is pricey, especially if you do add-​ons (ie. cheese, avo, fries). Comes out to about a $ 16 meal, not including a drink, but they didn’t skimp on the real crab.
The Philly was OK, pretty average for your non-​Cheesesteak Shop sandwich.
The fries were a little over-​seasoned (for my taste) but they were really crispy just how I like em.

This was our first time eating here. Excellent flavor. Maybe a little pricey, but not much.
Food (philly sandwhich) was hot and yummy. Looking forward to having more experiences here, now that I found them!

So yummy! The smoked chicken sandwich is unlike anything I’ve ever had! I will certainly be back to try everything else.

The owner is great! If only she could clone her self because the rest of her staff could use some customer service skills, they def lacking it. BUT! that Philly cheese steak was BOMB​.COM! And I can’t honestly say that I know what I good cheese steak is supposed to taste like, being in cali n all, guess I’ve had some good ones… but this has to be it!

By far one of the best places in Vallejo to eat. The sandwiches melt in your mouth and definetly satisfy any hunger I have! I come at least once if not twice a week!

I was expecting a little better based on reviews. I had the philly cheese steak and my son had the French dip. He really liked the French dip, but I didn’t try it.
Based on the philly cheese, for me, compared to an authentic philly, this was way to greasy and messy to eat. Peppers were too big and juicy, adding to the mess. Bread was not ideal vessel. Also overall a bit too salty for me.
Original Cheesesteak Shop is still the best in the Bay Area for me. Easy to eat, not excessively messy or salty, long perfectly soft roll, neatly presented.
In absence of that restaurant in Vallejo, I would still recommend this to people in the area and still like the idea of supporting local business owners, however, it’s just not truly «authentic» if we are going to get down to the details here…

Negative 1 star if possible… where do I begin?
Dude taking my order was fresh out of prison, had to be. He seemed upset that I was there. Ordered 2 cheesesteaks… received my food rather quicky, after that everything went downhill.
Food was cold and straight up nasty. The little meat that was on the bread, wasn’t even seasoned. No lie, I pulled into the old yard birds parking lot and threw both steaks away. I will NEVER waste my time or money at this truck. Sucks because I had such high hopes for the place.

I had the steak fries all I can say is amazing !!!
I will be coming back to try the cheesesteak.

If you like seafood, I highly recommend trying the crab sandwich on sour dough. They put a generous amount of fresh crab on my sandwich. It was delicious! The philly cheesesteak was pretty good too. It was very tasty. The wait for my food was kind of long and it’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it!
