This is the second year in a row we have come to the Easter Brunch. The food was excellent. We brought with us our daughter with serious food allergies. She was unable to participate at the buffet. We asked if we could just order for her separate so that we did not have to pay the buffet price. She requested 4 fried eggs. That’s all she can eat out. We got our bill and there was no charge for Rachael. Thank you so much Hyatt.

This is a great place to go for dinner. Their chef is amazing and their servers are just as wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. A great place for first dates, anniversaries and any special occasion. Even if you just want an excellent dinner at reasonable prices. Ask for Christianne to be your server. If you can get her, you are in for a real treat. She is the sweetest most attentive and hard working server I have had in a very long time. All of the staff there was very pleasant and helpful. Christianne just stood out with her sparkling personality and we so enjoyed having her as our server. We will be back and I hope when we do, we can again be seated in your area Christianne. Thanks so much for all your hard work and warmth and attentiveness to our needs.(and my indecisiveness). Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Remember to tip your servers well. These servers really do deserve it. They are great and so are the chefs.

They have a good happy hour daily from 4−7pm. Decent drink selection and list of tasty appetizers for $ 6 a plate. I recommend the sliders, wings and sweet potato fries. The porky skewers were okay and each order contains one skewer. The ambiance is nice with a loungey feel. Service is good. Parking is available right outside the hotel by the neighboring businesses. You can take a picture with this quiet, but pretty solid guy outside their doors.

Let me explain why it is one star… and if I could, it’d be no star and just a review!!! Last year, on Valentine’s Day, this place made everything extravagant!!! My boyfriend of almost 6 years at the time had set the reservation and planned for us to have the Valentine’s Day special 4 or 5 course meal. The food was great, the service was AWESOME and the decorations for our table alone were unique and special we even had my boyfriends last name on the card for the table. Well, last year was also a year ago. Fast forward to this year, 2016, we had planned to come here again and do the specials and made the reservation for 6:30 pm, because of how great it was last year. But boy did we make a mistake! To start the night off, we walked in and nobody was standing at the host stand. Being understanding, we waited a couple minutes for her to walk back to the counter. No worries there. We were sat in the first area of the restaurant up against the wall at a two person table… Very small and not much room to even have the menus on the table. The decorations were just a single flower in a vase, nothing special like last year! Upon choosing what courses to choose from on the Valentine’s Day specials menu, my boyfriend had noticed something. The things he had seen on their Facebook page with the menu options, we different or missing things on the menu in front of us. So we decided no special courses, we will just order from the regular menu. Now I’ve worked in a restaurant before and I know for great service, the waiter or waitress should arrive to greet the customers within 30 second to a minute of sitting down just to get at least drinks started, then just ordering whatever items at the customers pace. The restaurant wasn’t full by any means, and there was plenty of the staff walking around fulfilling drinks and food orders. Somehow, a waitress had gone to the table behind me and checked on them and went to refill their beverages. Another waiter had gone to a booth across the way to fulfill their needs as well. There was even a waiter who had made eye contact with my boyfriend and then walked off. 5 minutes pass, then 10… 15… By the time 20 minutes had rolled around, my boyfriend and I were getting irritated. We hadn’t even been asked if we’ve been helped, what we wanted to drink. NOTHING! Not a single word was exchanged! About 25 minutes in, we decided. «5 more minutes. If we don’t have someone walk over here in 5 more minutes, we are getting up and leaving to eat across the street» and I was okay with that. The«5 more minutes» limit had passed and we had just got up and walked to the host stand. Before we walked up, the phone had rang. So the hostess answers. On top of waiting around at our table to be asked for drinks, we then waited another 5 minutes or so to just SPEAK to someone about what had happened and what we decided to do instead of wait any longer. And while waiting to talk to her, we had FINALLY been spoken to by a waitress, we really came out of nowhere! My boyfriend tried to explain how long we had been waiting for and as he did so, she has tried to persuade us back into the restaurant and before she could finish her sentence, my boyfriend tried to stop her in her tracks to just say«no, we are going somewhere else!» And we proceeded to walk out. This experience really did ruin our Valentine’s Day. and even though it’s a cliché little holiday to go out to dinner and get small gifts and everything it has been worked up to be, we enjoy spending time together and any excuse we can find to dress nice and have some great food, we enjoy it. But how everything went down ruined it all, we truly will not be returning to The Vines for ANY occasion! We ate somewhere better anyways!

This is a review for the bar section of the restaurant only. I really want to like this place. I’ve enjoyed some great happy hours here. There’s nice décor. The happy hour food is excellent and priced ridiculously low. It’s definitely one of the nicer places to do happy hour in SCV. But.. . I’m tired of the poor service so I won’t be going back unless I absolutely cannot convince my friends to go elsewhere. Bad points: There’s the no split check rule. Vines allows 1 split into two checks maximum per group. I was there with a large group of women and we were seated around three bar tables. One person in our party left early so.. . that was our one split! The waitress then proceeded to plop down a $ 300 bill for the rest of us stating that she would not be splitting the check further. She wouldn’t even split the check into 3 parts so that we could divide it up at each table. And then an 18% gratuity was tacked on to our bill. Love that! Drinks: The happy hour prices for the mixed drink specials is very low but you will be getting watered down drinks and end up spending much more in the longrun. Your best bet is the beer and wine, but the selection is poor. Even the highest priced wine on the list tastes little better than 2 buck Chuck. If you go for the bar with a large group order only from the bar and avoid the waitress at all costs. Otherwise, you’ll have a huge headache at the end of the evening.

My Hubbi and I been coming here for awhile and the service is awesome. Thks to Kelly and Gina. The drinks and dinner is also good. The atmosphere is great. You have people hanging out or an event is happening and they come in for a drink. We all know the drinks at the event are not free. So come by enjoy your cocktail and have fun with your friends.

Great spot for a date night. The food is very good, the ambiance is great, the service is very good, and it is a nice, romantic spot. This is my favorite place in SCV for a date night.

Had an excellent lunch at The Vines. We shared the bruschetta and also the crab cakes. Both were outstanding. We haven’t been here for awhile, and truthfully weren’t expecting such a good meal. We like the quiet patio near the pool, and were surprised with a Tasty meal(yes with a capital T)!The service was also great. Bruschetta is often so toasted you can hardly bite it, this was crisp and perfectly done with just the right amount of topping for a flavor party in your mouth. The crab cakes were also a treat! They were all crab and barely any breading. We will definitely be back.

Friday night, wanting something local and romantic, a little getaway. This took us to the Valencia Hyatt, and Vines restaurant. We weren’t expecting much on our outing(who CAN expect much from a hotel restaurant?!), but we were pleasantly surprised. The interior was romantic and classy feeling, without being stuffy. We were quickly greeted at the host stand and taken to our table. Our server, Ryan, had quite the personality and seemed genuine and personable! He explained that on Friday nights they do a prime rib special that is served buffet style and comes with a complimentary class of any of their house wines(Canvas brand). Since I’m a sucker for all things prime rib I decided to give it a go… for science. Partnered with a glass of their Canvas Cabernet Sauvignon. The Better Half opted for something lighter: seared scallops and ordered a glass of Malbec. Since my buffet includes salad and sides we opted against an appetizer(and in case Vines management is reading, no, of COURSE he didn’t eat any macaroni and cheese off my plate…). Our wines came and after a few sips(he enjoyed the Malbec, but it’s not really my style. My CabSauv was relatively light but enjoyable) of wine I went to peruse the buffet. I selected some Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail, but passed on the tomato soup(although I heard other diners compliment it, and our server Ryan said that it’s his favorite tomato soup). The Caesar dressing was a bit light in flavor for my liking(I enjoy a strong punch of anchovy myself!), and the shrimp were clearly frozen(some still even encased in ice!). After a few nibbles, my partner’s scallop dish arrived so I decided to saunter off for my entrée. The prime rib is sliced to order, medium rare(although they are happy to put it back on the grill if that’s your preference). I also opted for a scoop of their macaroni and cheese. The prime rib had a good meaty flavor, but was a bit dried out from the heat lamps(to be expected), but was still an enjoyable serving. The au jus was full of beef flavor and was good enough to drink! I was surprised that it wasn’t overly salty(which could be the case if it is sitting around), but that was not the case. The horseradish sauce was very light in flavor, but still had a reasonable amount of «punch». I found my partner’s scallops to be the clear winner. Served with a creamy mashed potato purée and some blistered cherry tomatoes. The scallops were cooked perfectly and were very tender with great flavor. My only criticism of the dish would be that I wish the scallops had a bit more of a sear on them, they were tender top to bottom. I may or may not have opted to eat his scallops over another helping of prime rib. During out visit, the manager made a stop to check on our meal, For dessert the buffet selection had a brownie bite, cheesecake bite, and a lemon bar as options. I decided on the brownie and cheesecake. The former tasted more like a flourless chocolate cake which was rich yet also moist. The cheesecake was very whipped(it was topped with a whipped topping as well), so it was very light and fluffy, but I found that that made it lack some of the tangy flavor that I enjoy from a good cheesecake. Since we are clearly dessert fiends, we also ordered the crème brulee which was served with brownies. It was creamy and had the perfect signature burnt sugar crust. Definitely satisfying. I was happy to see that they have a modern bar and also serve a small bites menu, as well as various Happy Hour deals. This would definitely be a classy local pre-dinner(or post dinner) cocktail hangout as well! Between the humor and kindness of the service, the vacation chic atmosphere, and the delightful menu, Vines is an unexpected winner in my book. It made for the perfect pre-staycation meal and was a tasty start to our weekend!

Vines was excellent! A bit of a misunderstanding that happened on my visit but it was all taken care of. The staff was great and so was our server! Very good recommendations! I’m usually not a fan of hotel chain restaurants but this place of course I would eat at! As a Diamond Hyatt Member we receive complimentary breakfast. That was the part that was not very clear with the staff inside the restaurant as well as the front desk staff inside the lobby. I was told that I was only entitled to just the buffet when in actuality I should get the option of the buffet or the al la carte menu. I looked at the breakfast buffet and wasn’t really anything that caught my eye. I believe I ordered one of the California benedict as well we ordered the antioxidant berry smoothie and strawberry banana smoothie. Both were very delicious. If I was to stay at the Hyatt Valencia again I would be sure to return here.

My fist time to Vines, had an awesome chicken panini from the healthy menu, they even sliced the chicken thin for me, I asked for the chicken to be well done and it was not only well done but it was moist and tender, now I am setting my standard high for all the panini’s in the world to match the greatness of this one. We dined on the patio(great ambiance) for the Jazz concert at a table far enough away from the stage so we could hear each other. Our waitress was so accommodating and more then skilled at helping all of us to order a perfect meal. I am remiss-ed her name escapes my memory but she had a French Canadian accent. Our desert was just as impressive, the chef made a platter for our table that covered all our gustatory perception of what sweets should be.

My wife and I had dinner here last night, in the restaurant. We occasionally like to treat ourselves to something beyond our typical price range. The restaurant wasn’t busy but a few people were sitting at the bar. We had two appetizers, two entrees, two desserts, and a latte. The service was incredibly slow. Incredibly. It took 25 minutes for our appetizers to come out after we ordered them(a lobster bisque and a caesar salad). It seemed like they were using high quality ingredients, but the food wasn’t very good. The prices were much too high for the food quality. We live in the area but will never go back.

Other than The Social there are not a lot of nice, like coat and tie… special occasion restaurants in Santa Clarita. Vines is one of them. Casual if you want, formal if you want. The food is great, the service is great. It’s attached to a hotel, which BTW I had my parents 50 wedding anniversary party there. Last time here, I went with my mother in my Maserati… it was fun to watch the 16 yo valet attempt to move the car, jejeje. So great dining and good side entertainment.

My husband and I dined here on Valentine’s Day! I was impressed how the menu was carefully selected and they were delicious, seasoned perfectly! I had the lobster bisque soup, duck confit ravioli, and Chilean seabass with lobster tail as my main entrée. I love this restaurant. My husband and I have been coming here for Sunday brunch, Thanksgiving and never got sick with their food. They are always fresh and always seasoned right. The lady who waited on us a few times before waited on us on Valentine’s was all over the place. I had to remind her about the bread a few times. No big deal. Vines’ is a great fine dining restaurant in Santa Clarita and fairly priced. Thumbs up!!!

My husband and I ate at the Vines Restaurant 2 days ago for Valentine’s Day and consequently he became ill with food poisoning. He ate the lobster bisque starter, scallop appetizer, and chicken entrée. We called the restaurant to bring this to their attention in case anyone else had called with a similar complaint. I spoke with the manager, who said she would notify the chef but wouldn’t compensate us in any way, which is unfortunate considering we spent $ 195 and my husband had to miss work due to sickness. We will no longer be dining at this restaurant, and I am sharing this experience so that others will eat there with caution. If anyone who ate there on Valentine’s Day got sick please call and let them know!

Went in expecting total average since its at a hotel that is so reasonable but would only come back for breakfast off of the regular dining menu which is much better or Happy hour. Buffet was bland and hard bagels-bread. Bacon super fatty. Pretty gross display. Happy Hour pros: the drink specials, the guacamole, the spicy chicken lettuce wraps. Service was sooooo slow. They need more help! The goat cheese quesadilla was super soggy and mushy. My kids wouldn’t even touch it and said it was«microwaved mush» French onion soup full of salt and not editable. They need to step it up with the hotel being totally full due to Magic mtn being around the corner

I went to the Vines for a private event and it exceeded my expectation. I was greeted by an accommodating staff, a cold drink, and appetizers that only teased of something even more delicious. Their happy hour is currently unmatched, in my opinion — with options for $ 5 that satisfy those happy hour cravings, along with drinks that ease the tension after a long day at work. I’m a fan of the Vines new menu. It’s affordable, approachable, and delicious. I’ve also heard amazing things about their brunch and can’t wait to try it!

Vines has an amazing new Happy Hour! $ 5 Appetizers and $ 5 drinks. The appetizers are a great price for great quality food. Some of my favorite appetizers that I have tried are the Kobe Beef Sliders, Bruschetta, Avocado Hummus and Blackened Ahi Tuna Salad. Happy hour is daily from 4:00pm till 7:00pm I would definitally reccomend checking it out!
