Never knew this place existed. My son was sick and wanted some chicken soup. I checked Unilocal and this was the closest place. The Asian man at the counter, I assume was the owner was very nice. I ordered two soups and the cost was a little over $ 6. The soup was amazing. I will definitely be back.

Good solid sandwich place. It’s a great choice from unhealthier food choices. The prices and quick service are great. I enjoyed the Cali club and macaroni.

Quite possibly one of the greatest hidden gems in SCV. Nowhere else can I get a quality sandwich for the low price that they have here.

My husband and I were craving a nice, clean sandwich (with a pickle!) after a long week of drinking and eating crazy crap over the holidays. I used Unilocal to find this gem! I’m assuming the older man was the owner, he was so incredibly sweet and helpful; not to mention he made my sandwich perfect and tasty! I ordered the California club with cheddar and ham. It was exactly what I needed! Totally coming back in the future when I’m craving a delicious sandwich.
The prices are awesome! My husband ordered the pastrami lunch box deal which included a pickle, a medium drink and macaroni salad (also very yummy!) while I ordered just the club sandwich and chips. Total was $ 19! Not bad I say.

If you work in this area, it’s pretty convenient. I stopped by before needing to drop my car off nearby to change out my car speakers. I came during the lunch rush, but was out within 15 minutes. You order, wait a brief amount of time, receive your food, and then pay. Bring cash or pay .50 charge for credit. I ordered the hot pastrami special. This place is affordable and good macaroni salad. I wasn’t super impressed with the sandwich, but probably would try another. Cute mom and pop shop and have to support them with a good review.

We love Charlie and his team. they’ve been a fixture in the industrial park for as long as I’ve lived in the SCV. The products Charlie sells are high quality and tasty, the service is fast, and it’s a place where you’ll be remembered as a regular.

The sandwich shop is amazing! The owners are a wonderful older couple who really know what they are doing. I place large orders for sandwich platters and everyone loves them! I recommend the Dutch crunch bread, it will not disappoint. They also have the best side salads. They come up with all the recipes for their pasta, potato, and macaroni salads and they are heaven. I seriously don’t think you can go wrong with the Sandwich Shop.

Not bad, not great either. But quantity and prices are good. When I went the place was packed with blue collar men. I guess they love the meaty sandwiches and good prices.

I travel a lot for work and often eat at Subway for a quick affordable bite in between jobs. Today, instead of Subway I found this place. The location was a little hard to find, but the sandwich was fantastic, and the same price you’d pay at Subway. Very satisfied customer.

Charlie is so awesome! These spa switches are insanely good, not a lame subway sandwich with more dry bread than anything. I am a vegetarian and the veggie sandwiches are super loaded and delicious! My meat eater friends love it too! I ordered sandwiches for my whole office for lunch and not only did everyone love the sandwiches and OH MY GOD THE MACARONI SALAD but the service was amazing too. I HIGHLY recommend Charlie and his amazing Sandwich Shop.

Wow. Talk about overblown reviews. I am at a loss. The owner is friendly and welcoming. The place is small but efficient (if not cluttered). The prices are fair but the food quality… sad. Three different sandwiches ordered by our family, all bland. The special of the day «Turkey Pastrami» (a bit odd but worth a try, right?), the California Club, and the turkey & cheese. There is nothing on them to make the flavors pop — I make more tasty sandwiches at home.
The dutch rolls fell apart while we were trying to eat. The taste is nothing more than what you get at Subway. We love Final Score and Maria’s Italian Deli in Newhall and had hoped this would be another great, small find in our area, but we were underwhelmed. The worst part — the mayo must’ve been off… two out of three ended up sick w/​in 30min of leaving and the mayo was the common denominator. :(

I love this place! I go every so often after picking up my mom from work and it never disappoints! The California Club is the BEST!

Great sandwiches at a more than fair price! Dutch Rolls are really wonderful. Great chicken salad sandwich. Daily specials are always good. Chicken Noodle soup is great — It’s all good! Charlie and his wife and crew are great. Can get in and out fast. We go at least once a week and they cater our lunches quite often also.

I love this place. The dutch crunch bread the small business feel. I like the California club, I don’t like the cheese it comes with so I get it with provolone. The pasta salad here is really good too. Great place for a cheap tasty lunch.

Great sandwiches and the staff is amazing. 10 stars! Awesome vegetarian options as well. A go to place whenever I go to 6 Flags Magic Mountain. I would go here a lot more if I lived closer.

I was looking for a non-​greasy-​grill alternative for a quick lunch up at the park. I found this place here on Unilocal!and I’m glad I came in. I’ll make it quick, the sandwich I had on the Dutch roll (I had a club with avocado) was great! It was huge — my son and I could have split mine. We ate them both though =)
The guy at the counter was really friendly and knew how to treat customers. I had a great time just chatting with him as we ordered.
Last note! It’s hard to find if you don’t know exactly where to go, but it would be worth the visit.

OK, I love this place to death. I am glad I am starting to frequent it more and more. Recently, I found something startling that made me keep coming back. This is my updated review of the Sandwich Shop.
With me coming back almost every week without disappointment, I had to try some new sandwiches. The owner of the store is Charlie. He has had a big past with catering. The name is Catering by Charlie and Associates. Check out the website. He is a cool guy and its always great to see him at the counter.
Recently, I found that my name is on the menu. Well… Macaroni Grill has it too. My favorite new sandwich is the Milano Club Sandwich ($ 4.49). Its cold cut salami, with ham, lettuce, onions, tomato and light mayo on your choice of bread, which I selected wheat. There is no tax for sandwiches made on the spot. If you get the meal, the store charges the standard sales tax. If you use credit/​debit card, they will charge a $ 0.50 service fee.
This place small place in a industrial area is a great secret. Well, probably not anymore since most of the world knows. Charlie is a great owner and I hope this place stays while I am in Valencia. Its probably better than Tiny’s Big Bite which closed months ago.
