Chicks With Whisks Catering

I am from Tampa & located these caterers by scrolling through caterers in Downtown Los Angeles. Their name stopped me right there & boy, am I glad! PLEASE read this: Shilo & Christina were amazing. It was my brothers 70^th birthday & I was thrilled that it went above my best expectations. Their food was so unique & delicious and these girls feel like family now. And they are more than reasonable & worth every penny! All our guests were asking for their business card!
They passed all the items & every hot item was always HOT: (this is all finger food) waffles w/​fried chicken, mini veg quesadillas, pulled pork sliders, prosciutto wrapped melon bites, cucumber w/​shrimp bites, mac&cheese balls, & cheese pinwheels. YUM!

One of the Directors at work came to me last minute, since I’m the resident foodie at work, to help her organize a lunch to thank her staff for a job well done. I called Chicks with Whisks to ask if they could cater a Thanksgiving pre-​lunch at my work. I wanted something different than the typical bird and sides — so I left it up to the gals at Chicks with Whisks to come up with the menu. I was working on a tight budget with such little time, and they happily accommodated my limitations.
They made:
— Turkey Shepard’s Pie — a dish with the most buttery and soft mashed potatoes, layered with shredded turkey pieces, vegetables, and gravy. it was to die for. Everyone on my team thought this the most amazing thing ever! I was really glad everyone went back for seconds and thirds.
— Green Beans with Silvered Almonds and Mushrooms — Greens beans were crisp and so crunchy. The mushrooms were cooked soft and the almonds added a nice texture to the whole dish.
–Roasted vegetables in Thyme and Honey — so good! It definitely is the epitome of a fall dish. It definitely had me in the festive mood.
Overall the whole process to contact them was very easy. The best thing I liked about organizing with Chicks with Whisks was the ease of communication through texting. I hate talking on the phone so having the ability to communicate via text with them was so easy. I submitted the paypal via paypal, they also do accept Google Wallet, but now Google Wallet only accepts payment on debit cards and not credit card. I’m sure they will find a way to invoice their customers or find another method to be paid, possibly Venmo or Square?
The only setback that I experience was that I had requested one vegetarian shepard pie dish, but they were so busy they totally forgot to bring it. Luckily everyone at work was forgiving and understanding and had backup vegetarian/​vegan lunches. They have such good customer service they gave us a tray of home made delicious cookies as an apology.
If I want to have another lunch at work catered, they would be the first people I would contact!

OMG I’m in love with this company! The food is Devine! I used them for a last-​minute company event. I was really satisfied and everything was perfect. The food was amazing, delicious and definitely well presented. It was not only yummy but it was really pretty to look at too! I can’t wait to have them cater my next event.

These girls always come through for me. I had a last minute party and needed help. They showed up and plated, served and handled everything at a moments notice. I was lucky they had an opening. They always have fun and creative ideas for my parties but most important, THE FOOD IS GREAT!

I had them cater my birthday party and the staff was really prepared and knew what they were doing! Food was unbelievably delicious and a lot of varieties to choose from! Also great pricing able to work with the budget that I had!
