Worst customer service I have ever come across. Had a scheduled apointment for a before noon call and no one ever showed up or called. when I called the company to find out what was going on the «owner» Jerry was no help and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I then told him I already lost a half days work waiting for them. Then he stated he didn’t want to «go down that road with me» What does that mean? How this company stays in buisness is beyond me. beware!!! Well by you response you are trying to cover your poor handling of the situation. In response to the comments from the company:
First off this appointment was made a week ago and I was told if you were not going to make it I would be called. Unfortunately I am not independently wealthy like yourself where I can? afford to lose work so by taking the day off. You are now just trying to discredit my review to save face. Shame on you.

I felt rushed and the price of their labor was ridiculous! Way overpriced for the short time they were here. They installed two valves and a regulator. I had the water company come out the next day and they installed a new water meter. They told me that the plumber is not supposed to turn the water off only the water company. I am not a plumber so I has no idea! I found these guys on Home Advisor so I’m staying away from that web site

Disappointed in KENNAN HEATING AND PLUMBING. 1ST off it is not at no cost to have them come and check the problem. Think I paid $ 158. Technician was a real good guy. He couldn’t write up estimate because he wasn’t sure what all was involved yet (separated upstairs from downtown stairs as it was all tied in together). Came to house and had to cut and cap 5 lines (2 return and 3 supply lines) was charged $ 926. They were there roughly 4 hours and parts were $ 35 (not sure why 5 caps are $ 35) so labor was $ 891 which comes to $ 222.30 an hour!!! Now I don’t mind paying for a job but this is absolutely ridiculous !!! Please do yourself a favor and steer clear of these guys!!! Call ANYONE else BUT KENNIHAN!!! Less than a one star rating

Way too expensive, don’t fix things properly and they have to come out again and again

Get a second opinion before employing their services. I called Kennihan’s out one weekday night when my furnace stopped working. They sent a tech to look at it. He poked and prodded and said that it basically needed to be replaced. They did give me the option of repairing but made it sound like this was not a favorable option and he doubted they could get parts for a 23 year old furnace and definitely not for another week. Left me with no heat (we had a wind chill advisory the next morning) and an estimate of $ 4800 for the cheapest new furnace and $ 5900 and $ 6300 for «better» options. Luckily I was referred to another smaller company who came out the same night for a second opinion. He spent an equal amount of time with the furnace, but less time spinning a yarn and more time exerting effort and got the furnace working again! It did die again the next day and we decided to replace it. He told us that any of those «better» options would be wasted on my house due to the setup of my house and piping. He installed it for $ 2800 and called the Kennihan’s quote highway robbery. He got it in and did it with more professionalism and went above and beyond… something I did not get the impression Kennihan’s would do for me.
