Bottom line they suck. You have to give 1 Star which sucks too as they don’t even deserve that.
I had dinner at the Village Idiot on Melrose (Which is a good place to eat and the staff is great)
I never Valet my car however I was running late. The Valet backed my car up 10 feet and scratched the passenger side rear wheel. I didn’t notice this until the next morning. If you knew anything about me you know I know every scratch on my car and I have never curbed a wheel in my life.
I wrote the company (Ivan Bockelmann the owner) and explained the situation and they said send pictures as they would investigate. For a minute I actually thought they cared. I received a letter a week later stating that after a thorough investigation they did not scratch my left driver side front wheel and that is was properly parked in a off site lot therefore they assume no lability for the damage. Even though the picture clearly showed the passenger side rear wheel and they know it was parked on the street.
FACT: It was on the street and I could see it from inside the restaurant the entire time. My emails clearly state the damage location and they just made up some BS after their THOROUGH INVESTIGATION and did nothing…
Go to their website and you can see all their employees that can’t back up a car 10 feet without damaging it smiling at you on the front page.
WHAT A JOKE !
If you all knew how ALL valet services treat your car you would never valet again. If they don’t damage your car or mis treat it, for sure they are stealing something out of it. Trust me on this…
