Found this on Unilocal while driving through! Got off interstate and stopped to get to go on way to a park for the kids. Got directions at the restaurant to a great park and the tacos, pizza and sandwich(BLT avocado) were amazing! Love it! Stop in and get some food!

We have never been to Valdosta, and only found Bleu because of Unilocal.A bit off of I-75, but well worth a very easy trip downtown. A great place, very comfortable and also has outside seating, although it was too cold for that on January 31. The pulled pork plate was EXCELLENT, as were the shrimp tacos. Friendly service and good prices too.

Came upon this place by chance(other place was closed on a Sunday… what’s up with that) but so glad we did. Atmosphere was great, food was amazing and great coffee… and free wi-fi which is always a plus. Our server Devin could not have been more helpful in making a decision about our choices(hard to pick from the menu everything sounds amazing). Had the house nachos yum homemade tortilla chips highly recommended! Great place to visit if in the area. Also great option for those who are gluten free. Definitely will come again!

This place was great. Atmosphere perfect mix between pub and bistro.(awesome craft beer selection) Great for a study lunch(free wi-if). Coffee is great. menu diverse, fresh, familiar favorites with an eclectic subtle twist takes it to the next level. Had cup of tomato basil soup with Carmelized onion(vegan!) Mixed greens, strawberry, pecans, prosciutto, goat cheese salad with perfect balsamic reduction. Salad. Wonderful! Friend had the nachos. House made tortilla chips. The real deal. Huge portion. Pizzas, Specialty tacos, Options too diverse to describe. Service great(Devin… Went above and beyond. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable) This would be a hands down 5 star … It was jus a cold day out so inside was a tad chilly… Jus bring a light jacket and your good to go.

Great service, good food, and nice, clean atmosphere. Only one down side, this place is not the place to go if you are a picky eater.

Steel Magnolias may take the lion’s share of acclaim for innovative cuisine in downtown Valdosta but for a more casual(and less pricey) option, Bleu Café is pretty good, too. The space is large enough, classy, and yet not snooty or overbearing in any sense: there is ample seating including some outside and some at the bar and it can feel romantic and intimate or work just as well for an after work gathering of friends or colleagues. The bar is well-appointed, especially its selection of Bourbon and also some unique regional beers. The service is friendly and prompt and there are televisions normally turned to sporting events when something’s on and while it’s not a sports bar it brings in that dynamic a bit, too. Overall, a fun place. The food is, somewhat oddly, balanced mainly between tacos and pizza but they offer a wide and very creative assortment of both. I had the fried fish and hot peppers South Beach tacos and the fried chicken Savannah tacos and both were good. They came with an ample serving of black beans and white rice, too. The bartender made me an old fashioned which wasn’t the best I’d ever had but strong and overall good enough. It seriously seemed like all the staff cared about their customers and their restaurant and my collective impression was that while the food wasn’t cutting edge new Southern really, it was exciting enough and also tasty enough to bring in repeat customers, including myself next time I’m in town. Certainly fills the need for a downtown neighborhood bar and grill.

Service was good and the tacos were to die for! Definitely not what I expected to see on the menu when I walked into a café for a nice lunch, but they were so good. It was a great choice for a good lunch while passing through Valdosta. The women I was with each got something they really enjoyed too. All the food that was passing by us turned our heads that’s for sure. I would definitely visit again if I am in the area!

Great craft beer that changes frequently. Extremely friendly staff and a large variety of menu options. Live music on the weekends and when the weather is nice outdoor seating. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Valdosta.

The atmosphere is nice… not too noisy and inviting. You seat yourself but the staff is friendly and approachable. I had the grilled chicken avocado sandwich with fried red skin potatoes. The potatoes were a little too seasoned but okay dipped in the ranch. The sandwich wasn’t dry but it was bland. Even dipped in the ranch it lacked flavor. I would come back and give it a second chance though.

I have to say I really like this place — ended up going here cause the place across the street was closed for the week — not sure I gave it a fair chance so I’ll be back when my ability to eat is a bigger selection — i had the fish tenders(lightly breaded tilapia strips) with a side salad and it was good — the chili lime tartar suace is exceptional and the chili lime ranch I had on my salad was the same — i really like this place but there’s just something about it keeping me from giving it that 5th star — i went on a Monday just before 12 and left at 12:15 and the place was empty when I got there and empty when I left… guy said this week was slowest of the year so was expected(hence the place across the street being closed) overall: I’ll be back when I can try a signature dish and update then

Tacos were amazing, fantastic cocktails, great service!!! Definitely one of our top favorites so far in Valdosta. Love the ambiance and vibe. Not sure why previous posters said it is too loud because we did not experience that. Overall– great choice!

In town visiting family. They suggested we try out Bleu Café and it was a good suggestion. They have a good craft brew menu. It’s small but diverse with beers from the South and Midwest. I had the beef brisket and just as the description said it was very tender. The sides were good too. Nothing was great, but everything was good. The prices were pretty reasonable too.

The tacos are amazing. The service is mediocre, and the live music is way too stinking loud. But… Oh… Those tacos…
