3.5 stars for the pizza, but 1 star for the service so somewhere in the middle I found 2. Wait was incredibly long for a small salad and a medium pizza. Nothing crazy ordered but took forever. Even worse, our waitress never came by to check or update us on anything… we had to flag down other waitresses to get our waitress to our area. By the end of the meal she was blatantly ignoring us. There were 2 white girls who were twins that seemed to be doing a good job, and who we wish we had. Ours was a black haired,(Hispanic maybe) girl. Beware if you go here and she comes to your table! Order a pizza to go and you may be alright, sit down and you’ll most likely be disappointed.

If you are looking for an average, nothing special but affordable dinner in Vail you can get that here. We split a large pizza and salad and had leftovers. The downsides were small crowded tables, loud jukebox music, annoying bar bell and crying/screaming kids.

We ordered the egg plant parm, my wife thought it lacked seasoning, low on flavor. The pizza was good, fresh ingredients, decent service. I would come back for the pizza.

Good pizzas. We had a large supreme and Cajun chicken. The taste was fresh. One of the less costly joints in Vail

Off season visit. The pizza was quite good. Service was attentive and everything one could ask for. Stromboli was great with a nice balance of cheese, ingredients and sauce on the side. Would definitely visit again when we are in the area.

The food here is great, especially their antipasto salad and chicken parm sub. The service, however, is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. The waitress was very forgetful and not attentive but I’d come back for the food for sure!

We went to Pazzo’s twice while we were in Vail. The first time we went, we split a pepperoni and calamata olive pizza and it was the best pizza we’ve had since we moved out to Colorado. The second time we went we each got pasta — the rigatoni with marinara bolognese sauce and the spaghetti primavera. Both dishes were delicious and the garlic bread was awesome. Highly recommend Pazzo’s for both great food and service!

For a place that had just opened it was amazing! The meatball sub was really good and the Stromboli was delicious too! I will go back as soon as I can!

In Vail this is the best pizza by far. I used to go to Vendetta’s, but after they were shut down for construction a few years ago I had to try something new. I went to Pazzo’s and haven’t gone to any other pizza place in Vail. I am a big fan of good Italian Sausage… I would say this is probably the worse topping they have. DONOTORDER… It’s not good! Their pepperoni and bacon are both really good options for pizza and their pazzone. Also, they have Peroni on tap. I look forward to going back next year.

Awesome place. Best Pizza place around, prices were very reasonable seeing that it sits smack dab in downtown Vail. Waited about 10mins, its a small place, but has a lot of history to it. Nothing fancy about this place, but the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly. They also have coupons available, found them in a coupon booklet provided by our hotel Only small things to note, that still does not effect my rating: 1 person at a time in bathroom Don’t even look at any other pizza place to go to, Just go here. Next time in Vail, ill be here again

I really wish here I could give my 4 star 0.5 more. It is not a five because it is not some of the best pizza I have ever tried, but for Vail it is pretty great. Just know that it is a BUSY place. There are great pizzas and calzones here. There is a lot of dough but that is okay because it is good! Their pizzas take a little bit of time to get out to you. They say it is because perfection takes time… haha! Favorite pizza here is the supreme and favorite calzone is the Twilight Zone. I am not a fan of garlic bread unless it is really soft, but this is crispy and others seemed to like it. Not a fan of their salads here at all… they need to step up their salad game for sure. Well, I wouldn’t say it is the best pizza ever, but for an eating out experience in the heart of Downtown Vail, I’ll take it!

Cool atmosphere and great service, but: Food was not good and of course was vail overpriced. The pizza at vendettas was much better. Pasta dish was cold in spots and just wasn’t great overall.

We ordered the entire menu among our group. Meatball sub, French fries, Aztec pizza, cheese pizza, Roma pizza and a Greek salad. I had the small Greek salad. It was so refreshing to have good quality tomatoes. I’m from Okla., and it is hard to find juicy, flavorful tomatoes. The feta was also fantastic. It was a big chunk of feta instead of crumbles. Delicious. I also had the Aztec pizza. Again, the tomatoes were amazing. You can tell I’m obsessed. The cilantro, jalepenos, and pepperoni was an awesome combo. I’ve never had a pizza with cilantro, but it was great. Ofc if you are one of those people who thinks cilantro tastes like soap, you’ll have to venture to other menu options. Everyone else loved their meals. I would have rated four stars because I thought the service was average, but then they pointed out that she was serving about half of the restaurant. The quality ingredients and the happiness of my group bumped it up to 5.

The garlic cheese bread and the calzone we had were both very tasty. Reasonable price and good service made this a very appetizing meal.

Very, very good pizza. I’ve been to a total of three places in Vail for pizza and it’s the best I’ve had so far in Vail. Service is what you would expect from a place dealing with mostly tourist., not friendly(not rude) it’s just they don’t know any better. Put that to the side and enjoy really good pie.

First we got an advertisement stating that this place delivers. I called to order and the rude guy on the phone after offended that I asked a PIZZA place to deliver. He told me they go through a 3rd party place, ala car. Ala car charges a 20% fee plus tip(which they say about 8 times so that you KNOW you MUST tip. The pizza was greasy and not good. Cost about 3x what you would normally pay for that pizza. Would not recommend.

Not really sure why we’ve been going to the ‘other’ pizza joint in the Village? The pizza here was FAR better than Vendetta’s! Seriously… have no idea why we haven’t made Pazzo’s our default pizza spot and I have been coming to Vail for, well, let’s just say a very long time. We ordered a custom pizza… basil, garlic, tomatoes, onions… it was thin and bubbly and oh so tasty! Toppings and drinks are unpretentious… no foodie toppings here(don’t look here for truffles, fois gras, thai peanut sauce, sriracha themed pizzas) but what is here is classic, delicious and perfectly baked. FYI: A medium was large enough for two. with two slices left over. Love the patio seats!

I usually only review places when I have anything other than an ordinary experience. Today I ordered a pizza, salad and 4 drinks. I didn’t order it this way, but I got the salad dressing on the side. Literally. The guy brought out the salad and apparently the cup of dressing slipped off the plate and onto my left hip. Oil and water don’t mix but oil and vinegar love to instantly absorb into my shorts. Our waitperson apologized profusely and said something about not having to pay for it and scrambled to get a roll of paper towels. The pizza was typically delicious as we are accustomed to. He knocked $ 4 off our bill. I was expecting a little more off the bill considering my nearly new shorts are now stained. Maybe he figures I’m the guy with plenty of stains on my clothes. He would be correct but that’s besides the point. I was more disappointed that he never came around for refills and then got all Chatty Cathy with us when he brought the bill. An obvious attempt to salvage a tip.(Side note: I did tip him 20%+ though because sh!+ happens) «I don’t want you to be all mad and write a bad Unilocal review,» I believe was his quote. I’m sure we’ll be back. I’ll just make sure we order the salad dressing on the plate next time.

One of my favorite places ever. Great pizza. Laid back but friendly, helpful and hard working staff. Azteca pizza and the Greek salad are my go to’s.

We liked being able to find a place in Vail Village that didn’t have the pretensions of catering to the glitterati at star struck prices. We also liked being able to snag a table closer to the front door instead of further back by the hot pizza ovens, especially since it was jam packed with couples, parties, families with kids, all exuding their 98.6 body temps to warm up the place with their body heat. We actually were pretty comfortable, despite the close proximity of neighbors on either side. We usually get two dishes and share, but this time Herb wanted their meatball sandwich, which was described as having elephant-sized meatballs. And they were! I wasn’t going to share that, because most Italian meatballs are made with pork, and I don’t like porky-tasting meat-a-balls. But I did taste them, and they were delicious. Even better, they were served on a crunchy baguette, the kind I miss from back east. I had the Spaghetti Primavera, full of nice fresh veggies in a light, lemony sauce. No heavy cream spoiling this dish, as it sometimes does at other places. It came with garlic bread — the same quality bread used in the sandwich, so I was in crunch heaven. Considering the crowds, service was pretty efficient, so it turned out to be a very tasty and pleasant meal. We would definitely return.
