Came in as a group of five. Not expecting the great attentive staff. Very knowledgeable group. The tasting samples are offered in a variety of types. You have to try the expresso infused vodka.

10th is amazing! 10th is a whiskey(and their other spirits) sipping room. The décor is almost intimate and Spartan rich with some 10th artifacts scattered around the room. RHS room isn’t huge, but there’s a manned bar, an unmanned bar with metal stools, couches, and chairs and tables. 10th is well lit by indirect lighting. The noise level is low. The staff is courteous and exceptionally knowledgeable about spirits. 10th only has five spirits. 10th distills their own 75% corn bourbon, rye, vodka, moonshine, and apéritif. 10th serves these spirits and variations upon them. I sampled the bourbon and rye. The rye is superior. It’s smooth and warm and reasonably priced for Vail. I sipped slowly. There was no pressure to drink and get out. The bartender sought me and asked how I liked the samplers. You can purchase 10th bottles and gift sets as well as 10th-branded clothing and bar accessories. They can ship their spirits to states that allow. 10th is a great, non-bar!

I visited this tasting room during my recent trip to Vail. I’m very much interested in the distillation of spirits, and our server/host was really helpful in answering my questions. I shared a tasting of all of their liquors. I was surprised with the product — they did a great job. My personal favorite was the un-aged, 100% corn mash moonshine. The flavor was incredible and smooth, even served neat. In my opinion, their bourbon should have been aged longer, but they have not been open for too long so I understand that will come down the road. Thanks for the great experience! Oh, and they have pretzels on each table to eat while drinking.

It sounded like the perfect way to cap off the day– a nice whiskey cocktail on a cold night in Vail. Upon entering, I noticed a lot of merch which actually worried me a bit. I thought they might just be more concerned with selling their merchandise over their liquor, but turns out they make a pretty good product. It’s odd that whiskey bar doesn’t offer any old fashions, isn’t it? It’s what I want when I think of whiskey, but alas, I came up dry. I ordered a manhattan instead. Also found it odd that their cocktails(of what they do have, which is sparse), are pre-made. All the bartender had to do was pull a lever and give me my drink. It’s kind of bare-bones now that I think about it. The manhattan was actually pretty good and the whiskey itself was silky and smooth. There you have it, pretty good product. Like everything else in the area, it’s not cheap either. Be prepared to fork over some dough for a couple of drinks. And the vibe here… not sure I loved it. It seemed like the place was full of locals that the bartenders all knew. The staff weren’t super friendly, just nice in a stuck-up sort of way if that makes any sense. The good drink isn’t enough to lure me back in.

Awsome place, these guys really know their whiskey! Not only do they have whiskey but they have a vodka and moonshine that is all locally made. If you’re in the Village do your palate a favor and stop in, you won’t be disappointed!
