Awful not your typical mountain mikes quality at either Vacaville location… poor service crappy pizza

Apparently these are franchised locations, so all of these restaurants should not be thought of as equal. Although the owner allowed my 3 year old son to have the buffet for free, the pizzas were not refreshed in the 30 minutes we dined there. The place was empty, but it would have saved a couple more customers that decided to not try this restaurant again due to the bad customer service. It’s worth avoiding this place and trying the competition in my opinion.

I had gift cards and they refused to take them. My pizza was burnt and I begged them to refund my money I have to go in to their store tomorrow and get my money back. He said he didn’t know how to do a refund and the delivery driver didn’t know how to take my cards after I spoke on the phone with them. I wanted to give them a chance but back to dominos I go

Totally UNACCEPTABLE! I made an online order for two pizzas at Mountain Mike’s on Alamo Dr. Paid online, received a confirmation number; order number and a reply email acknowledgement. The order was to be ready by 5:15. I arrived at 5:09, waited in line for 8 mins.; approached the cashier when it was my turn, told him I was here to pick up our online order and he asked me the name it was under. I gave him my name, he went back to get our order. He comes back, no pizzas. He asks me again what name it’s under and how was it ordered. Again I gave him my name and said I ordered it online through the Mt. Mike’s website. He sends another worker back to check for the pizzas. No pizzas. He tells me they are no orders for me. I show him both the acknowledgement email and order confirmation and he says it will be 10 mins. They never made our pizzas. I’m sitting here waiting now for our order and the lady in the next table said she has been waiting 35 mins. for their call in order. She said she is going to post to Unilocal about her experience. Maybe I will too. This not the way to run a business.

I’m absolutely disappointed with my experience today. We’ve always loved Mountain Mike’s. Today for Daytona 500 we purchased five pizzas and received 4. The manager sworn they were not at fault. They’ve always had the 40% off and he said that they no longer honor that. We will no longer return to Mountain Mike’s.

I have come here about ten times for their lunch buffet. If I was rating just the pizza, I would give a 4. But their service is a 2. A lot of times, there is only one person working, making both the pizza and ringing people up. So this leads to the buffet running out of pizza and like this visit, I was left at the front counter for 5 minutes before I had to call out to the guy in the back to please ring me up. I understand that it is more cost effective to have only one person working, but the needs of the customer need to be met. Next time I will hit up the buffet at Round Table down the street. I am lowering my three star review to two now on the same visit as now there is only 2 slices of Hawaiian pizza at the buffet and I don’t do pineapple. That is how it has been for the last 5 minutes and I have a 30 minute lunch. There are 11 people here eating. There should be a steady flow of pizza to the buffet.

No stars would be more appropriate for this place. This is what I sent to Mountain Mikes headquarters through their website: On 1÷10÷16 I ordered pizza for my coworkers at the prison in Vacaville. The entire process was very disorganized from the young man Enrique, taking calls to the final product that was delivered. During my initial call, I was put on hold about 4 times, with other times when Enrique would come back on the line, thinking I was a new caller, and ask me to hold. The entire time I could hear the sound of the antiquated dial up internet in the background, which concerned me for security of credit card transaction information. I ordered a BOGO coupon deal with a large classic combo speciality pizza and the BOGO large pepperoni. Enrique told me it would be an hour and 15 mins because his boss was out doing deliveries. I don’t know why he told me that or why that was important other than to let me know how long it would be. Since I work in a prison, I stressed that I would need a call to get to the front gate when the pizza was there. That was not a problem. An hour later, I called to see if the pizza was getting close to the promised time of 75 minutes. When I spoke with Enrique, he said the pizza had not been made or cooked yet. He told me they had just completed a bunch of orders and deliveries and it would get worked on now. He confirmed that with his boss which he told me he was going to do and I could hear them talking in the background. 30 mins later, we get a call on the unit that the pizza delivery is on its way. I go to the sallyport, get the pizza, come back on the unit. We all gather round to eat and one pizza, the BOGO, is what I ordered, but the other was not. It had ham and pepperoni on it and that was all. I called MM, talked to the owner. He began to deflect any responsibility, told me he took my order(no it was Enrique), that I ordered that and then just kept talking over me denying any responsibility for anything. I told him if he did not want to work with me on a solution for this, than I would dispute it with my credit card company. Which I did this morning. My feeling of what happened here is that this store comes across as extremely unorganized. From the moment I called it was unorganized with no feeling that anybody knew what they were doing. I also think the owner threw something together or ran out of ingredients due to the rush I was told about, and took his chances delivering a pizza to me when there was no recourse for me as I could not take a picture because we cannot have phones in prison, could not leave to bring it back. He was also so aggressive in denying any chance of responsibility, that it was clear to me he was used to doing this. So instead of making new customers from the other workers, this owner let us all know no to do business with MM. I have disputed this. If headquarters wants to deal with this owner and direct him to make it right, that is fine with me. I am a pscyh nurse in a prison… I deal with men a million times more diabolical than this owner at MM. But MM needs to realize that there are some people that will not speak up about bad service. This is not the way to do business. I was a small business owner for 20 years. Talking over people and being obnoxious is not the way to establish good will in the community for one’s business or the name of the franchise.

Don’t order pizza for delivery. I ordered a pizza and salad with extra cheese 2 extra ranches and cheese and pepper packets. The pizza came in burnt there was only 1 of the 3 ranches no cheese on the salad and no cheese and pepper packets. How could you screw up an order that bad. Forget one thing is a mistake but forget all of the extras and BURN the pizza come on seriously.

The pizza is always good. However dinning in is absolutely repulsive. Today was the worst… there was absolutely NOWHERE to sit because all the tables were dirty. Beyond dirty. It smelled horrible and the salad bar tasted old as if it had been sitting out for awhile. I am really disappointed!

I’ve been going here several times lately and so far good. Despite the previous reviews, I came here myself to go check it out. I ordered a specialty pizza and wanted a medium size. But the employee advices me that large pizza are 40% off on Sunday. So he hooked me up. Because of his honesty and providing the customer’s needs, I will return their routinely. The pizza are legit and the quality is great. I subtract one star because I got food POISONED by their pizza from two previous visits ago. But it was worth it. UPDATE: I’m upgrading this to five star because of great quality.

Went to go meet my parents for dinner. I went in and there were no customers. As I viewed around to see if my parents best me I saw lots of dirty tables but no customers. A guy walked over to the front from the side. I looked to where he came from and saw two ladies sleeping on the booths and another just staring at me. There was a little boy playing and touching all the food at the salad bar. I’m guessing that was his family. I left immediately and meet my Parebts at round table. I’ll never go back! Horrible sight under Mountain Mikes name.

Quick and easy online ordering. Did not immediately get a confirmation email so I had to call and check that they received order. Other than that it was a flawless transaction. The pizza arrived quickly and hot. No complaints/good price!

Really great tasting pizza, but absolutely horrible customer service. I ordered a pizza at 11, they said it would be ready at 1130, I show up around 1145 and to find out they have thrown out my pizza. They then begin to yell at me for not being more timely and claim that I was lucky they didn’t charge me for the pizza. I then sat around for 20 minutes as they made a new one

Okay, second time coming into this restaurant and eating. The first time, the pepperoni was beyond overcooked, and it was completely burnt underneath. This time, slightly not as bad. No my son, lights burnt pepperoni. That doesn’t look anything like pepperoni at all. But I do!

Been searching for a pizza joint comparable to mellow mushroom and Helen back in Florida. This is it! Fresh ingredients equals a great pizza and the staff was very nice. We’ll be ordering again soon.

I ordered a pizza Todd answered phone He plays Alot on the phone Made it hard to get pass giving phone number My pizza was wrong, and Man this football sundaywe traveled across town for this pizza and the pizza was not made as I ordered it, We called store and Todd answered and lied and presented himself as a manager and said he was the manager, then played on the phone like a child acussed me of running scam, I was very applaud by that I was calling to cimplain that I traveled across tion paid $ 39 for pizza made incorrectly but definitely charged for, he joked like things were funny, My family and brought pizza back Todd is not a manager. he had to call to request for my money back due to all the confusion We refuse to let them make new a new pizza no way, couldn’t trust that after the games, he called store owner or manager and she was not agreeing to a refund due to a couple slices eaten. mistakenly due to hunger quickly noticing it was not quite right it was extra large and we were starving going in quickly, anyways Todd is a joke the owner or store manager us also finally after planning. Our case somehow someway we received our refund I could trust the replacement pizza no way too many games played and we paid cash they don’t give receipt if both requested for cash payment please people always request receipt for any and all transactions, he played that card too! Ridiculous! So no worry: won’t return for pizza in This lifetime So they get –10 rating poor service and very dissatisfied customer it was football Sunday

The pizza here is tasty, and comes with tons of toppings –probably the heaviest slice of pizza I’ve held. But with that comes a price tag, it is a bit more expensive than I expected, but it’ll take less pizza to fill you up. I had placed an online order and drove over within the allotted time but my order wasn’t ready despite not many customers present. I wasn’t in a rush so I didn’t mind waiting for an extra 15 minutes, but not all people would enjoy that wait. This is what gives the review 3⁄5 stars instead of 4⁄5. Also, I’ve read that customers find the owner rude –let me say that he is not originally from the US and so his mannerisms may come off as being a little impolite. Have an open mind about culture differences; he will always give you what you request.
