Plus sides: I was able to be seen last minute due to a cancellation. The optical area was clean and orderly and I finished my appointment in a timely manner.
Bad news: Shockingly unprofessional staff. No joke– the optometrist stopped in the middle of an eye exam so she could watch videos on the receptionist’s phone. Mind you, this was in front of myself and other waiting customers. In addition, the optometrist and receptionist flat out laughed at me during the glaucoma test due to my involuntary flinching. I’m talking full on, bending over, grabbing each other’s shoulders for support while laughing. They made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Neither one apologized and they continued to giggle throughout the rest of the procedure.
I would not recommend the Costco optical department based on their lack of professionalism.
