City Sports Bar and Grill

chef is out for a week. dont go, wait til he returns. garlic bread so dry and tasted like processed salt, was inedible. who messes up spaghetti? couldnt eat it, ruined by bbq chicken that was added. charred taste ocerwhelmed food.
staff felt bad but only offered to remove the garlic bread cost. i am an avid reviewer. poor decision. just a failure of an evening.

Usually I have a good time. My friends are here from out of town and this band guilty again sucks so bad! They have such a long pause between songs, none of us want to dance because it’s such a long awkward time in between songs. They took breaks every hour and their intermission songs had long pauses too. Sucks!!! But the restaurant itself is good. Some of the wait staff are lazy, but I’ll still come. If I’m drunk enough, I don’t notice anymore. Lol

Got sat at this restaurant. Sat there for over fifteen minutes while all the waitresses walked around me and avoided me. Finally got so thirsty and hungry I had to give up and leave.

Great special for Vacaville Restaurant Week. Great band, Papa Joe’s and the New Deal.

More waiting than anything. Terrible service sat at the sports bar one of 4 people but bartender was friends with the other 3. They got their drinks refilled without even asking I had 2 beers its took about 30 mins. She rather check her phone every 4 mins, go to her friends show pictures off her phone and talk with them. Place looked great but service made it a bad first and last visit there.

Came here for a Veterans Day dinner out with the family. The parking lot was full but the restaurant was pretty slow. I ordered the Crispy Chicken BLT Wrap… I was surprised to see that the wrap was instead filled with cold, grilled chicken instead. Husband ordered the Cajun Fettuccini and ended up with food poisoning. I found it quite strange that this place charges $ 10-​$ 14 a plate and serves your beverages with styrofoam cups. Took the kids over after dinner to play a few games in the arcade room. Half the games were out of order and the ticket redemption booth is only open 3 days a week for a few select hours. This place had me asking myself «Seriously?» way too many times. I’ll be passing on this place next time.

I came here with a large group of co-​workers for lunch the other day. Our server was a real sweetheart and tried very hard but it was pretty obvious from the get-​go that this is not the place we will come back to.
Our waitress recommended fish and chips so most of the party heeded her advice and ordered that, while I was brave enough to experiment with the Cubano Melt. From the attached picture you can get a good impression that it was a grave mistake. Two pieces of stale pulled pork with no smoke in smell or flavor, and some lunch meat doesn’t really qualify this poor man’s sandwich to be called Cubano and cost $ 10. In hindsight, I’m not sure how I even finished half, it was dry and unappetizing. The server was nice enough to offer the box to take this «chef’s masterpiece» home but I refused for apparent reasons. Even worse, the touted fish and chips were not much better and half of our party left a large portion too. You’d think that if those two didn’t work, maybe some good ol’ American burgers would? Not so soon; even those were dry and overcooked. I guess the best part of the meal were fries but only regular, not garlic. If you get garlic fries, don’t look for any actual garlic on them as City Sport’s «chef» only uses oil that tastes and looks like fake butter from movie theater with garlic aroma. Yuck!
Even for bowling alley food, City Sports was still disappointing. I remember coming here few years back and food not being so abominable. What happened??? And what’s up with styro cups for water too? Maybe at night this might be a cool place to hang out for drinks, but I don’t see myself coming back here for any type of meal. And even if you’re looking for a bar, there are places in town I’d go to before coming back to City Sports
Overall two stars… one for service and one for serving pitchers of Heretic Evil Cousin. Everything else pretty awful.

Stars is an awesome, underrated restaurant! We love going. We know that we’ll never wait long. The chef’s special never disappoints. There are some exquisite meals. The Brussels sprout martini will make you a Brussels sprouts fan! And the Korean bbq fries!!! The kids can go and play arcade games or you can enjoy any game!

This review is only about the customer service; had my nieces birthday party there a few weeks ago and on my end, there were tons of hiccups. Ashley (party coordinator) and her staff were amazing, accommodating and patient beyond words. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of-​I would highly record this place for parties. Ashley, you and your staff are wonderful and a true example of exceptional customer service. We will definitely be returning!

Great Sports bar with several T.V.‘s with all your games. The bar is nice inside and is attached to the bowling alley.

The service here is absolutely amazing. This place is right down the street from our house and has the best menu around. Everything is good!!!
They also have bowling, arcade, laser tag, and not to mention every sporting event imaginable on over 30 screens.
Leila is the best server you can ask for. She’s on top of the game and her service is amazing.

Where do I begin … Was thinking nachos. But tried the Cajun catfish, wife went with the half grilled romaine and steak. Fabulous. Just fabulous. Chef Joey was in the house ! And I’d trust his staff any day.

Dinner was awesome. Plenty of TVs and great menu. Not an extensive beer menu but being right next to bowling, pool, and arcade is awesome.

If you have anger management issues, this is the place for you. While I have to say people watching is fun, watching multiple fights break out was not. #cantweallgetalong
The bathrooms were horrible. Flooded stalls and horribly unkept.
Bartenders were friendly and quick, the bar is behind a gate so it can get a little squished when trying to get a drink.

Went by last night and the restaurant was closed. No sign, bar seemed to be in operation for the bowling alley. The band was standing outside, ready to set up for their
night. Finally packed up and left. I hope chef Joey has a place to cook. He is the very reason we are regulars. I hope this is temporary as we have grown to enjoy the chef’s specials each week. A loss of a high quality restaurant, one of the few with thoughtfully designed food.

Play off game atmosphere is awesome here. Street food is awesome! Very accommodating for big parties that show up without calling first.

Very expensive! They actually charge you for salad dressing a 1.50 each! You’d think the salad dressing would be free after paying $ 15.00 for a pitcher of beer! Bring your own condiments if you eat here!

I had a great time at Starz. Went for Superlicious on Saturday night with Jeremy. For $ 5 you get into the bar area and they played live music for 4 hours, unheard of. And there is no drink minimum, which is really nice since Jeremy and I rarely drink. We danced for hours. The crowd ranged in age from 21 to 65, that was awesome. I didn’t feel out of place in my leggings and lose top, some were evening wearing tennis shoes. I like to be comfortable when I“m dancing.
When we got there the line was out the door for bowling so apparently this is the place to bowl. Will have to go back to try that.
We played games and they were a blast. I am looking forward to going back for more of their weekend live music, it was a BLAST.

We decided to have dinner before bowling. We ordered drinks first and those came out fairly quick. we then placed our order and it felt like FOREVER before the food came out. I had the chicken club, M had the Korean fries, and F had the burger. The food was surprisingly good! Only complaint would be the speed of actually getting the food.

Worst service, loves to try to scam military members! Will charge military members extra at door and bar/​pool/​bowling area. Will tell every person I come across to never come here
