I was asked if I needed any help multiple times and everyone was very friendly. When I wanted to try on my clothes it took about 2~3 min. Great customer service. I will definitely be coming back.

Horrible customer service. If you pay with a debit card or even PayPal online or in store, it is still your money and cash orginally in the bank. So if you ask for cash with a receipt you should get cash. But instead we came out with a giftcard? WTF. Never shopping here again.

I’ve been in this store more then a handful of times and have never been greeted but people that come in behind me get greeted… It’s something small but I don’t get it… I wanted to test it out so I started to look at some sweaters next to 2 employees to see if they would say hi and ask me if I needed help but nothing, instead they started talking in a lower tone after I didn’t walk away they just looked at me and then walked off to fold clothes on the table next on the other side… Their is one employee that I always get help from and she is awesome! I believe she’s middle Eastern, sorry if I wrong. I look to see if she’s there. Even the manager doesn’t seem like she doesn’t want to help…

The return policy is a joke. I wanted to return a pair of jeans I bought over the weekend. My husband used his debt card. I had the receipt but not his debit card thinking I can just get cash back. Nope you can only get store credit or use his card. I asked if I could use my debit card to put the return on but the manager Rose wouldn’t let it happen. She was rude so now I have to come back out here with my husband I’m annoyed.

I’ve never had a problem at an American Eagle store until I went here. I had ordered some items online that didn’t work out and brought them in-store to return. The sales associate who turned out to be the manager told me they wouldn’t be able to return all my items due to a new store policy. I asked where this policy was posted because it wasn’t on my receipt and she said the policy was so new that it wasn’t being printed on the receipts yet. I asked where in the store I could see the policy and she said I had to look online or call customer service. I went back to my car, called customer service and asked about this«new policy». Customer service informed me there was no such policy and that all returns should be accepted at stores. I went back inside and informed the manager I called customer service and she reluctantly finished returning my items. I have never experienced such rude sales associates, not to mention that she was the manager. I don’t know why they made up this policy, and created this obstacle for me, but it was completely uncalled for. I will never shop at this location again.

What I loved about this store was one of the associates, who was always eager to assist me with obtaining a fitting room in a timely matter while multitasking, I believe his name was Josh. He was really one of the only associates that made me enjoy my time shopping. HOWEVER, I had a terrible associate who rang me up at the register who DIDNOT ask me for my information so that I could receive my points for being an AE awards member EVENAFTER I TOLDHIMTHAT I WASPRIORTOHIMFINISHINGTHETRANSACTION. He did not even try to correct this problem and when I asked him why didn’t he ask for my information he GAVEMETHEEXCUSETHATTHETRANSACTIONHADALREADYBEENMADE. He was rude and completely inconsiderate ANDEVEN rang up my jeans twice which was priced at about $ 20 but because of his carelessness I was charged about $ 40! I even had a top that had a white tag and therefore qualified for the promotion but he did not try to correct the problem and charge me the correct amount, INSTEADHEJUSTFINISHEDTHETRANSACTIONASSWIFTLYASPOSSIBLEWITHOUTANYREGARDTOMYCONCERNS. I ended up paying about $ 140 and he DIDNOT even bother with customer service?! I’ve worked in retail and I know that is NOT how a customer should be treated! Because of this associate’s carelessness I had THEWORST experience at this particular AE and I am a frequent customer in the AE stores in SD. Josh was truly the only reason why I would EVER come back to this particular store.

One of my favorite clothing brands. So of course I was happy that an outlet opened up in Vacaville. This store is rather small, however, there are plenty of great deals. As always savings vary by season but you can always expect to save up to 70% from original. The staff is here has been helpful, no complaints.

I just left American eagle right now so displeased and shocked on how I was treated by «mv03» treated me and my friend. He was very rude when I walked up to him and said«excuse me?» He looked at me and walked away. I then followed him saying«excuse me, I need help.» He then gave me a plain look a while I was waiting for a response that never came. I then ask him a few questions and he was very short and acted like he didn’t care. I expect this if it was busy. But I was maybe the 5th customer in the store. Once I got to the register unwanted to use a gift card that was on my phone and the guy«mv03» didn’t even want to scan my phone. He just said oh it’s not valid. I said what do you mean. He replied it won’t work. I then said but I have money here and he said«nope doesn’t work». I was so upset. I walked out there not buying anything because he made me not like going to that store anymore. I know his register name because my friend who was behind me bought something from him and that register name was on the receipt. She was also complaining about how he treated her bad and not like a customer should be. He wasn’t smiling or welcoming. She said that’s the first and last time she will ever go into that American eagle again.
