They advertised an open house but after driving 30 minutes to get there they want to charge to get in. What?! You want me to pay you to come in to buy your stuff? I was going to get Christmas gift baskets and other goodies but not now. I left pissed, don’t advertise it as open when in fact it’s not.

Found a jar of Anna Mae’s Smoky Mustard while out in Napa. Discovered the farm was just 45 miles from me in Ohio. Have tried nearly everything Rothschild offers and haven’t found one I dislike yet. Great product with great ingredients. If you haven’t tried any Rothschild Product yet, you’re missing out. PS: Great customer service also. I had a gift card that wasn’t processing on the online site, called up and had a very helpful rep get the order through for me. Thanks Brett!

Le Gourmet Chef has teamed with Robert Rothschild to reopen the store on US36 in Urbana! It looks like it will be there through the holidays and possibly longer, depending on how the business goes, so go shopping for some good gifts here!

We live in California and went up to Cline Cellars in Sonoma for some wine adventures. They had Robert Rothschild’s spreads for sale and I fell in love with their Hot Pepper Raspberry. I will definitely be ordering more when I run out!

We went in the closing days of the Rothschild Farm Market. The café closed at the end of July 2009 and the market closes August 31, 2009. The farm is moving to an all-internet sales model. It’s a shame because the market is a lovely place to visit and pick up tons of Rothschild sauces, dips, and marinades. If you go in the next couple of days before the market closes, you can find a huge variety of Rothschild Farm products at heavy discounts. You can still buy their products online. You should also still visit the farm even after the market closes. It’s a serene place and there’s wonderful raspberry picking.

If you’re looking for tasty sauces and dips. Buy from this website. The mustards have a distinct taste. The Apricot Mango Wasabi sauce is AMAZING. Use it as a glaze on pork roasts. Or a dipping sauce for pork chops or chicken. Its great, has a very distinct taste. If you at all like fruit spice combinations this is the stuff. Footnote on service. I ordered a case of the Apricot Mango Wasabi sauce. I got something else instead. I called them up and not only did they tell me to keep what they mistakenly sent me… they would overnight me the correct item as its supposed to be used for X-mas presents.
