Cosmedica Natural Day Spa

I’m too thrilled when I can support local business. The plan was a late massage and Cosmedica fit the bill!
I called last night to see if they could accommodate a late evening, last-​minute massage and they did so happily! Though I was running a bit late, both the reception person and masseuse-​Maria, greeted me with a warm smile.
Maria did such a phenomenal job on my massage that I plan to book routine couples massages for hubby and I, and I’m returning this Thursday for a spa package (facial, manicure & pedicure). Cosmedica will be in heavy rotation for us … professional, friendly, good service.

What a great find within my community. I’m always excited whenever I find a local business that consistently provides great service and is respectful to its customers. I’m really impressed with Cosmedica’s professionalism, knowledge, services, and dedication to its customers. The staff is always professional, friendly and eager to serve. Moreover, I really appreciate their sound sanitary practices. I find Cosmedica to be an unique business in that their philosophy is demonstrated time and again by how I’m treated at each appointment. (Be sure to ask the manager how she came up with the name Cosmedica.)
So far, I’m just getting great pedicures from Dee and Selena. As soon as time permits, I’ll get their full range of services from head to toe.

LISTEN UP LADIES, DO NOT come here for a sew in, especially if the services are will be provided by the unfortunate looking ingrate they’ve hired by the name of «Dee». She knew she was gonna get ripped apart in a review somewhere and almost didn’t give her name. HA! Girl who gave you a job? Let alone a license. Yall she took 6 HOURS to do a partial sew in with curls. She has no flat iron, just the mini one you use for short hair or edges, and then get this — she tried to charge 200 to sew in ONE PACK of hair, THEN an extra 65 for the «curls» she threw in. And then tried to change to to charging 20 PER TRACK. And was taking her sweet time taking pictures like she was doing a good job. A MESS, hood spot with Hollywood dreams. Think about it. If it takes you 6 hours to do a sew in, even if you worked 12 hour days, you’re not ACTUALLY making much money. Get your skills up so you can support yourself. This place is a joke, save all 265 of your dollars and go ANYWHERE else.

I got my eyebrows threaded here and they did an excellent job and I will be going back.

Contacted Cosmedica in the morning to schedule a massage appointment… received a same day appointment. The receptionist was very friendly when I arrived… massage was very relaxing and professional. I would highly recommend them.

I came here to get a wax and a facial. It was AMAZING! Shazia, the technician who did both of my services, took her time. She informed me of every step she took and communicated with me very well. My face feels amazing. I have acne and am very particular about the products that I use. The products she used were all natural. Also, I wear very expensive eyelash extensions and she made sure not to mess them up. She was very gentle with my wax and did not double dip, which is extremely important. This was definitely the best facial in all of DC, Maryland and Virginia. I would never go anywhere else. If you come here be sure to ask for shazia. She is the best.

I had a wonderful experience at Cosmedica. I have had terrible experiences with hair salons, especially with natural hair. But Cosmedica was not like that at all. My appointment started on time – in fact, the stylist was waiting for me. My hair was done quickly and professionally, and I really enjoyed the experience. They even allowed me to select and watch a movie while they were doing my hair! All in all a very positive experience that I would recommend to anyone who wants to maintain a natural hair and beauty régime!
