This place has turned into complete garbage service. The owners are going thru a divorce and whoever got the restaurant doesn’t care about it at all. We used to go here every Sunday«religiously» and it was great, great food, great service, great atmosphere. Now we’ve been 3x in the last 3 months. Each time service is about as bad as u can get. Today, Father’s day 2016, dad wanted to give it another try so we did. When we pulled up it looked packed with ppl waiting outside to be seated. When we get to the door we notice it’s really only about half to ¾ full with about 7 – 8 open tables yet there was at least 4 parties waiting to be seated and not a single employee talking to or even acknowledging the customers. We stood there about 5 mins without 1 party being seated, and all customers looking at each other seemingly shocked at the horrible service. 1 party left due to lack of service and about a min later we did the same.

Great breakfasts which seem to be the mainstay. But, try Brunch also. Sandwiches are very tasty. My favorites are the Cobb salad and the Turkey club sandwich. It’s REAL turkey! Everything I have tried has been delicious, fresh and served with a smile. A great place to schmooze with the regulars, fuel up for your work day with breakfast or take your time with the morning paper and crossword. It is as good as it gets for a traditional non-chain family café.

The chicken fried steak was delicious. The gravy was really good. It didn’t feel heavy and greasy like at other places. First time here by myself to see for my sled. I will be coming back with my family for breakfast. The service was great and I never had to wait for my cup of coffee to be empty to get a refill.

After being seated waited 30 minutes to get order taken, even while asking server twice. eventually caught the manager. food ok. hash browns and toast undercooked. try at your own risk, much better other options. some other people had the same problem and many gave up and walked out.

Food is decent. Had the chorizo w/scrambled eggs, pretty good, close to home cooking. Home fries that came with it was delicious. Hubby had the highlander w/sausage and tasted right too. Some places makes the gravy so salty but this one, all the combination was good. Only thing i didn’t enjoy as much was the pancake, it falls apart too easily, taste was just ok which i really didn’t expect much but its not bland or anything. I’ve had worse… Anyway, place is clean. Service is great. Coffee refills are offered constantly. I’ll come back if i was in the area.

My husband and I went here for brunch for the first time and had a wonderful experience. We arrived just after 11:00am on a Sunday(it was slightly busy) and were promptly seated and waited on. We ordered the cinnamon french toast, avocado chicken omelette, and the monte cristo sandwich. Our food arrived to our table within 15 minutes after placing our order, which was awesome. Everything was spectacular! The cinnamon french toast was fluffy and came out with a bottle of delicious hot maple syrup, the avocado chicken omelette was packed with flavor, and the monte cristo… oh my goodness! If anyone has tried the monte cristo at Disneyland’s Café Orleans, let me tell you, Rabi’s Café’s monte cristo sandwich was MUCH better. Not heavy tasting on the frying and no extra fry batter to pick off. Rabi’s Monte Cristo was so very delicious and the coleslaw it came with was very good and the strawberry jam to dip the monte cristo in made it perfect. Rabi’s Café has wonderful tasting food, sides, a spacious dining area, and phenomenal and friendly service. Truly a gem and we will look forward to coming back.

Tried to go for breakfast on a Sunday. Left after 30 minutes and after having to ask for menus. Was obvious the staff was overwhelmed and food would be an hour-plus wait. Whoever is running the FOH has no idea what they are doing– one waitress for 20 tables +/-. And that waitress could be loudly overheard telling every table that actually got service that she«doesn’t work Sunday’s, it’s [her] family days.» Sure, that will get your tips up. Total chaos. Can’t judge the food, what I saw on other plates looked like typical diner fare. Prices were 20 percent over comparable prices at chains. Décor is institutional(think«high school lunch room»). Try them soon, they won’t be around for long with their amateur approach to service. Too many other better options.

Shitty Shitty Shitty food, oh my god., that has to be the worst ommelete I’ve ever had in my life, and for 8.25 I would expect you to not used processed cheese on my omelette, I couldn’t even stomach it I managed to eat three bites of the worst tasting chicken it was CHICKENJERKY, I think, what really wrapped up the fact that this place is shitty is the guy who is waiting on me, is rude and says well it’s chicken breast, yeah but any monkey can cook a breast better then that much less cram it in an overcooked egg ommelette besides the fact that the service is rude and he smells like cigarettes that made me loose my appetite even before I ate. My cousin got another crappy plate the pancakes were horrid and the syrup tasted sour, how does that even happen??? Dude I couldn’t even enjoy the biscuits and gravy, there food has no flavor, the only thing I enjoyed here was the bacon so if you want over priced shitty food, come on through, or do yourself a favor and DONTCOMEHERE, I was on the fence after reading reviews but now I know for sure, stay away!!!

My family and I decided to try this place out this morning. We showed up around 11:30am and the place was super busy. Typically a good sign of good food. They seemed to have a few large parties that the servers were helping, but as soon as we walked in we were greeted and offered a table. We figured service would be slow due to how busy they were. However, one of the waitresses walked over right away and took our drink order which she brought right away as well. About 20 minutes after that another waitress who was running by stopped and took our order(honestly, I think the only reason she did was because I think she noticed me staring at all the poor waitresses running around trying to accommodate the large parties). I didn’t mean to make it seem as if I was impatient but I did appreciate her taking our order. Other waitresses would come by and refill my coffee mug(which was great), now at 12:30pm and hour after we arrived and about 20 – 30 min. after the large party had left and about 40 min. after we ordered we still had not been served with our food. I’ve got two little ones and my 2 year old was very fussy(can’t blame him, no food and about an hour wait I’d be restless also). At about 12:40pm my husband looked at me and said«I don’t think I’ve ever waited so long for food.» At that point we both decided it would be best to leave. I asked 2 different waitresses for our check(for the drinks) and after 10 minutes of waiting for that we simply got up to leave. I patiently waited for someone at the register(I wasn’t about to leave and not pay for our drinks — although with the service I think I had every right to do so). Quickly a male gentlemen approached me(my husband had gone to put our kids in the car, who at this point were starving and super cranky) who I’m assuming may have been the manager/owner. I told him we’d been waiting for over an hour and my kids were restless and hungry. I told him I wanted to pay for the drinks and leave. He was very apologetic(which I appreciate) and said the drinks were on the house. While I appreciate their friendliness I’d also appreciate a little better service. Perhaps understaffed or simply caught off guard with the large parties, my only opinion is that small cafes should haven’t customers who are sitting already wait for over an hour for waffles, pancakes and 2 sandwiches. Just saying. We left hungry, with cranky little ones, and disappointed.

The new«daily specials» menu is exceptionally good. I have tried both the blueberry pigs in a blanket and the Salmon Florentine… they are both very tasty… I highly recommend them for new or returning customers.

Pros: Clean, no wait, friendly servers Cons: Coffee tasted like flavored water(and I even like my coffee weak. yikes) They told me they had just brewed it fresh and I replied that’s great but it still tasted like water. I switched to ice tea instead which was also mediocre Lipton tasting. I ordered a cheeseburger with Cheddar instead of American and they didn’t ask how I wanted it cooked? It was perfect on the outside but the inside had spots that we’re almost rare(but not bloody nor juicy) It looked better than it tasted. Same with the potato salad. looked better than it tasted. I probably won’t be back to try the breakfast… but based on the many great reviews they have, you can try it for yourself and decide.

Breakfast– Lots of seating, clean and friendly staff. Median age is probably 60 years old in here. Food was good. Famous homemade Chili cheese omelet was ok. I’ve had much better. Corned Beef hash is home made which is nice to see, pretty good, but not to visually pleasing. Ours was a little overcooked with burnt potatoes. We will be back because of the quick service, clean place and decent food. They deserve another chance and we live close.
