2nd Chance Thrift Shop

I love, love this thrift store! First and foremost, their proceeds go to the animals at the Upland Animal Shelter where I adopted all 3 of my fur babies. That in itself is worth it. However, beyond that, they are really unique store. They have a mix of everything and reasonably priced on most items. It’s hit or miss in terms of finding something really good at a steal. Sometimes items are way over priced (mainly their «antique» items) and those types of items are priced at e-​bay «going for» rates which are very unrealistic. However, if you’re a collector and are looking for a particular rare piece, it’s perfect for you. But, for the most part, they have great items at decent prices. There are also color sales which will cut prices in half. Sign up for their email notifications on their website. You’ll be notified of sales.
Most of the volunteers/​employees are really cool. I must say that Pam and Eric are awesome! Rachel is also super nice and talkative. All in all, they are are a great bunch of folks working toward raising money for the animals
I recommend this place for everyone looking for anything! So much better than Goodwill or SA. I’m hoping they don’t get too popular and the good stuff is gone

Nice, quality items and very organized. And best of all, it benefits shelter animals! This is my new favorite thrift store. The staff is friendly and I love the animal items in the store.

My puppy and I went on a walk and decided to walk in and shop. Found a bunch of stuff I was thinking of buying online that would have cost me over $ 100. Found the items and only spent $ 30. I found a dog car seat, a cot, a martha stewart harness with a bow tie, and hiking boots. And they’re pet friendly which is a major plus because Gizmo is always with me. The front staff is super friendly and helpful!
