Taco Del Mar

Never open what’s going on. Is this place closing down or what does anyone know? Is it having trouble finding good help and that cares.

I love Taco Del Mar– but this one never seems to be open unfortunately. The two times I have eaten there the tacos have been delicious and the team there is great– some consistency though as far as keeping a business open would be helpful! My only complaint is that I can’t eat there more.

Our Grandson is a Taco Del Mar fan so we try to go when he is visiting. This is smaller then the usual ones but it is fairly nice. NOTE — they have a note on the bathroom that the light is out. Do they assume we all have cell phones with lights. Seems like they would either fix it or provide a flashlight.
I got the Taco Salad and found it to be on the bland side. The others in our group agreed the food is not as tasty as other locations.
The gentlemen serving moved things along fairly fast and was friendly.

Not even close to the n 26^th location. The customer service is lacking smiles and enthusiasm. They aren’t as generous on the ingredients either. The flavors dont seem as good, I just didn’t feel I recieved the same experience and value that I do at other TDMs. I probably will come back because I Love Taco Del Mar!

I come here once in a blue moon, the staff is really nice and get you in and out quickly. The food on the other hand, as all the reviews mention is lacking. The other locations seem better.
Nothing was under or over cooked it is just bland. The first time I got a burrito here it was great, what I wanted in a burrito. I always get both the green salsa and the chipotle salsa and they were delicious the first time but every time after that, it just tasted wet.
I’ll give them another chance the next time a blue moon rolls around. I don’t see any reason to go eat there more often than that anyway, because how often should someone eat a 1lb burrito?

I don’t know why but for some reason this locations food is not as good as the others. I went yesterday and the rice wasn’t cooked enough, the beef didn’t have much flavor and they were really skimpy on the toppings. I always know better than to come to this store but when I occasionally do I just don’t have a good experience. I’d rather drive to another location to get my food, at least it will taste good.

We love their food, and they are one of the few places who do card punches. They give you $ 5 off when your card is full.
Recently the employees during lunch don’t seem too happy to be there. They also have had very loud music. But the food is worth it… fresh, healthy choices.

First piece of advice: Don’t eat here.
Second piece of advice: If you are daring/​foolish enough to ignore my first admonition, please do NOT select the fish as your source of animal protein. Mine came from a warming drawer, and I would bet money that it’d been put there shortly before opening time. It was both chewy and fishy.
The ground beef wasn’t really any better.
The employee behind the counter wasn’t rude, but he was a bit too «unapproachable» for me. I didn’t feel like arguing about what is and isn’t acceptable to serve, so most of of it just went into the garbage.
The store was clean, and I did like their salsas.
I don’t think I’ve ever eaten at a Taco Del Mar before, so I can’t really guess whether this is a widespread problem or related to this specific location.

This is my kind of fast food. Simple, fresh, made the way I want it. I had the daily special of double tacos with rice and beans. It’s great that we get to chose the type of bean, meat, sauce. I prefer the chicken. I will be back.

I have frequented this location for quite some time now, it’s been a while since my last visit, but I decided to go last night. As usual, I walk in and and the employees behind the counter greet me, and take my order. This is fine and peachy, but I do get a sense that there is a slight lack of professionalism in the manner. They communicate just fine, they make to orders right and are courteous, but I still get a sense that something is lacking. This is probably due to the fact that all the employees I’ve seen there are late teens, early twenties. They just don’t have the experience, or proper attitude.
This is really more of a service issue than a complaint. The food is always made exactly how I order it, it always taste good, and it is fairly cheap for what you can get. It’s not a bad establishment, and I have given my business to them many times, but I have also passed it up on many occasions.
