Living in San Diego, I was spoiled with many choices of great Mexican food. Ricos is on that same level. Delicious and authentic dishes with very affordable prices. If you are in Tacoma and looking for great Mexican food this is the place!

Bomb stuff right here. The egg plates are one of a kind breakfast fill ups. Its hard to cut on the styrofoam plates if you order a wet burrito or something but other than that this place has amazing food. Also, I like to order the chips separately if you get the nachos to go so they don’t get soggy.

Holy delicious random authentic Mexican food truck! I simply had the taco plate and it was amazing! Thick tortillas, fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked asada, covered with powdered cheese. Simply amazing and I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town!

Fantastic and authentic food for a great price. The fish tacos are flavorful and not too soggy. We will be back!(Probably too often).

Phenomenal authentic food. Just moved here from Texas and I am half Mexican so you can trust me. This is great food and the lady is so sweet. First time here but I will be back since I live down the street. Oh and they have a little Indoor area setup next to the stand with a tv and a couple of tables. Nothing fancy but it looks nice and warm

Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Prices are cheap and the food is just AMAZING. Recommend this place 10⁄10 times. It really is a jewel and the people who work there are all very sweet and welcoming.

All I can say is exquisite for the price. I get 8 – 10 tacos with Jarrito and don’t spend a lot of money. Additionally the quality is magnificent. Come one or bring all the quality and price is worth it.

Their Street Tacos are pretty legit. I had the steak and pork tacos and was very please with their flavor. I plan on going back soon to try the rest of their menu.

I’ve eyed this place for awhile, and today we stopped and had Rico’s Tacos. I am so glad we did. My husband had chicken and I had spicy pork, while both were really good we both agreed the pork was better. Grabbed a punch card on the way out because we will be back.

Excellent every time. Their sauces are the best around; delicious and spicy, carnitas and carne asada cooked right. Super nice crew, very reasonably priced and quick. Can get pretty busy around lunch time so I try to go around 11 or after 1:30.

Great place to stop by for a quick bite or a to go order for a last minute dinner idea. Fast, friendly and fair prices. Food taste great, only been here a few times and still trying a few different things so don’t have a favorite yet. But again food is great here and worth the stop.

Authentic Mexican food done right! After many hundreds of times driving by this food truck and somehow never being hungry, we finally made it a point to stop in for lunch. Am I ever GLAD we finally did! My son ordered the Pollo Asado. Dang… it was whole chicken pieces, not shredded or diced, and the best we’ve ever had. No lie… the best! My husband ordered Carnitas and the flavor was outstanding, the meat moist and incredibly tender. I opted for Tacqiutos Rancheros, its one of my «gringo» favorites, and they were perfectly crisp, packed with flavor and their guacamole was top notch! As we sat there eating, barely coming up for air, the only words spoken from one of us was«I’m going to CRAVE this place!». The rest of us just looked up and enthusiastically nodded YES! They have a small condiment area with fantastic hot sauces, tomatillo sauce and this pickled carrots and jalapeño mix that I swear they should bottle up and sell. If the container would have fit into my purse I would have taken the whole thing home! :) This is the best food truck we’ve been to and by far, the best Mexican food as well!

This taco truck is great! It has everything I hope for from a food truck… authentic, great tasting, quality food. We tried their steak tacos, a chicken burrito, and face meat enchiladas. All three meals were amazing and the sauces they have on the side add so much flavor we all were trying them on our food.

Not all taco trucks are created equal! Rico’s, has the best wet burrito in all of the taco trucks purveyors. I live in Seattle, and occasionally make the drive all the way out here for said wet burrito, also known as the number 2,(which should in no way be associated with the number two that is followed by this number 2). Come hungry leave happy definitely worth stopping in and checking out.

Woo! I’m on a high from the flavor of these tacos! Lengua: amazeballs! Holy @#$% how have I not tried this sooner?! Spicy Pork: scrumptious. Classic. My life time lover. Beef: eh. Probably won’t order it next time. @$ 1.20 each there’s no excuse to not try every kind available I’m from AZ and have traveled to Mexico many times. These are definitely the real thing.

This is definitely one of the better if not the best food trucks for Mexican food in Tacoma.(Hint: Some of the best Mexican food around here is on food trucks and not in traditional restaurants) They are in the parking lot of a gas station and even have their own small shed off to the side where you can either eat there or wait for your order. They have a TV inside this shed so they really make sure you are comfortable while you are there. I got the Burrito Plate which was very tasty and had the garnishes I was really hoping for which was sour cream and guacamole. The burrito was excellent and it had a red sauce on which kind of had a sweetness to it but it was meant to be there and was balanced just fine. The Spanish Rice and refried beans were great and were very authentic. Steve had an amazing taco plate. There are additional garnishes on the side of the window where you order(to the right) where radishes, hot sauces and pickled carrots are at your disposal. This place has a good chance of being a watering hole for me here in town.

This is a Taco Truck, the four stars aren’t for ambiance, they a very simply for the authentic Mexican fare served in typical Taco Truck fashion on paper plates. They have a small covered area to sit in with three tables and a TV. Everything is very clean and kept tidy. I had four tacos, 3 carne Assad and 1 lengua(tongue) and a coke. The selection of meals is quite extensive, the condiments are fresh, and the coke is Mexican with real sugar. This is not Taco Bell! This is real and the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Tacoma. I’ll be back for sure.

Tried Ricos for the first time yesterday, got the Lengua Burrito Plate(#10 on the menu). It was pretty tasty. Definitely going back to try the tacos.
