It was a nice, warm night, and I was out strolling down CityWalk with a gal. As the night was unfolding, my thirst for hydration entered a state that needed to be quenched. To my convenience, I stumbled upon this establishment. Seeing as no one was inside, I figured this was going to be a nice, quick visit. Well let me tell you, I’ve never been so wrong in my entire life. As I walked in, I noticed they had a soda machine with a water tab. Perfect! So I approached the counter and asked the gentleman for a water cup. At first, he apparently didn’t understand my question and stared at me blankly. so I followed with asking the question again. He then replies by informing me that they have water bottles for sale. I respectfully declined his offer and then, again, asked for a water cup. This is when I knew I wasn’t meant to be here. THEMANAGER then shows up, with a concern look on her face, asked me what was the matter, as if there was clearly an issue at hand and as if I was being difficult. At this point, I’m tired from walking, dehydrated and irritated. I just wanted water. That’s all. So as a final effort, I finally pulled out my wallet and purchased a soda cup. I still don’t understand why it was so difficult to ask for a cup of water. I will never go back there again. So my advice to anyone who’s thirsty walking down CityWalk, DONOT go to Subway. It was empty for a reason.

Poor service. Rude employee. Male 4“10. Rude to his coworkers. Ordered a salad. Looked inedible. Asked for specific veggies and held back on portions. Subway was my first job and at the location I worked at, we had amazing customers and we gave them the same courtesy. I work at City walk and hoped to get a decent meal. But for what I paid, I didn’t get the service I expected from my fellow city walk employee and very disappointed. Hope you guys get better service on your own orders elsewhere than what I received today.

The food was great and we did get a good deal, but they kinda gave my friends and I some incorrect information. They told us that we would be able to bring the food into Universal Studios and we weren’t able. We ended up having to throw away one 6 inch sandwich.

Visiting Hollywood area for work and decided to hit the city walk. I had been driving for 2 hours just to get to LA so after walking around I was starving. I decided to grab a bite to eat at Subway because I thought it would be cheap, quick, and it was probably one of the healthier choices the citywalk has to offer. All other food establishments there are greasy fried junk with no nutritional value. Any who employees lack customer service skills and my sandwich was made poorly. My footlong was mostly bread since they only put 2 or 3 pieces of veggies. Plus I paid $ 18 for 2 footlongs no meal. Rip off for mediocre food and unfriendly staff lacking sandwich making skills. I had higher expectations being this is inside of the citywalk.

***Not many food options are open early at Universal CityWalk so if you are planning to see an early movie at Universal CityWalk’s AMC movie theater, you may find yourself checking this Subway out if you want a quick bite before the movie; this Subway is like any other Subway; the food here is quite bland and mediocre*** Parking at Universal CityWalk is very expensive though you can get a sizable rebate if you are seeing a movie at the AMC movie theater.

Their service is better than most. Their prices are special venue prices, nothing extraordinary. Good spot for a quick bite while visiting the theme park.

I understand that the price is higher than most subway restaurants, but the service and the employees aren’t professional there. One of the employees(male) would ask us what we wanted while talking to other people and since he was distracted he kept asking the same questions over and over again. When somebody would ask if there was a special, the whole staff would immediately yell that there weren’t any specials because the Subway was located in Citywalk.

I’ve been going to this Subway 2 days a week for the last 2 – 3 years. The deals just seem to keep getting better and the variety keeps me from getting tired of the same old thing. Love the 24 hour thing for when I’m heading home from downtown.

This Subway is the worst I’ve been to. First, it charges $ 5.50 for salads whereas all other Subways charge $ 5. Yeah, I know. It’s only 50 cents more. But Subway’s a franchise; hence should abide by rules of consistency. The staff was extremely stingy with the ingredients. My spinach salad was ½ the size as any other Subways I’ve been to. I’m not even exaggerating.

Subway is a sandwich place! I bet you didn’t know that! HA! Okay.so you do. Everyone knows their $ 5– footlong slogan. but alas… this Subway doesn’t offer the $ 5– footlong… why? I have no idea. Maybe because it caters mostly to all the employees who work in and around citywalk. I have no idea. Subway is a great healthy way to eat for lunch. There are so many sandwich options to choose from! Their cookies are actually good too. if you want to spoil your healthy lunch with a bit of dessert!
