This is an absolutely beautiful course! Although I played horribly and couldn’t hit the ball straight if you paid me to I had a blast. There are major drops in elevation on several of the holes that will have you focused on the beautiful countryside in the background rather than focusing on your drive.
The attendants from the barkeep in the clubhouse to the starter on the first tee were very friendly and explained every detail of the course to me. You really feel like you’re at a private country club rather than a public course!

Course is in GREAT shape. The starter/marshall was friendly and helpful with course tips.
The front nine is tight, but worth it just for the scenery. The back nine opens up quite a bit, but, alas, loses some if the scenic charm. All in all, a beautiful golf course, with outstanding maintenance. Just a note. .. Greens are fast and have a lot of movement.
My only complaint is that we played on a Saturday with 3 small tournaments. We were sandwiched in between the first and second. Play was slow, with nowhere to go. We had a tee time, and drove from Houston to play. If we had been advised of the tourneys, we would have rescheduled.

Best bang for your buck when it comes to twilight rates! This course is in great shape, you can tell that it is well managed. The course is challenging but it was still alot of fun. I recommend trying this course out next time you are looking for a challenge but at a great price.
Be carefull on that 8^th hole… it is pretty darn tricky!
