Rolling Oaks Golf Club Bar & Grill

Closed tonight website and phone message said they were open until 2am. Not good customer service from the get go…

Nice play to go beat around some golf balls and have a bite to eat. This place is not for you if your looking for cutting edge or flashy. But the price is right. They have a full bar and restaurant. The staff is nice to everyone who goes by. They have a good patio area and a big screen for the games.

This past Saturday was one of the best days of my life —
1) I got engaged to the man of my dreams
2) My family decided to host our surprise engagement party at Rolling Oaks Golf Club.
I wasn’t around to plan the actual event, but my mom said that everything went off with out a hitch due to Marilyn and her friendly staff. Marilyn sectioned off a perfect-​sized spot for my friends and I complete with tablecloths (real — not vinyl), centerpieces and a spot to put a cake my family brought in. We had servers for our section and my group never went thirsty! Their prices are also very affordable which made the whole party very happy! She also allowed my friends to put up photos all over the walls for decoration.
For the golf-​lovers, she reserved my group a few bays just for them. They had a blast at the driving range all night.
The band was awesome and played the perfect mix of classic rock.
Huge thanks to Marilyn and her staff for the perfect night! I would recommend y’all to anyone looking for a perfect, laid-​back spot to celebrate a number of occasions!

As a Foodservice Sales Rep, I have eaten good burgers. This place has a great Mushroom and Swiss Burger. They also give you a 32 mini pitcher for your drink. Price is great, but most of all the taste was Awesome! Need to come out here and hit some golf balls and grab a burger more often. Great Food!

Though it’s a nice place, I’ve been to better. The range was ok, but it looked as if they hadn’t picked up the balls in a week. Other places offer shade on the drive and this place does not. The «bar & grill» is a joke. Two buckets of beer will run you $ 30 an a «large» sampler basket is about $ 22. Thought the large basket would be bigger, but it was really only enough for 2 people. Disappointing all around really. I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Great place to go hit some balls. You get to practice hitting off real grass. The burgers are really tasty as well.

This place is wonderful! As a new young grasshopper golfer I come out 2 – 3 times a week to improve my game while my son runs around on a little playground they have set up. The food is good, I recommend the burgers. The staff is polite. The live music is typically decent. It is a good time.

I love the atmosphere here. It might be a little cold now but in the Summertime it was great at night. They have TV to watch the games, Every night, they do have drink specials and on Friday and Saturdays they have live music. Pretty awesome. If you plan on bringing your kids, they do have rental putters and clubs for them to use as well. on groupon they had a special, 2buckets of balls and a burger/​fries for $ 15. very good. Staff is friendly.

For practicing, this really isn’ the best place to go. The range looks a bit rundown so determining yardage can be an issue. The grass was in ok shape, however.
This is the place to go though if you want to hang out and make hitting some balls a fun thing to do, since it’s very relaxed. The food was typical bar and grill type stuff. Nothing to write home about, but not bad either.

This is a good driving range. They have a great bar with some awesome drink prices, the food is good also. They always have great deals for the range, some of the deals come with food. If they could put some yardage markers, and fix the islands where they put the flags they would get the 5 star rating!

This place is pretty cool and more fun that I thought. They give you 100 balls for like $ 11 bucks, and you can pretty much just chill and shoot the shit for as long as you like. Food is also available, and can be brought out to your table wherever you are located at in the range. There is also a band that is there I believe every week or so, playing Texas country music bullshit.

There are alot of newbies here, I saw one of them walked to pick up balls when the guy next to him was swinging, not the smartest move.
I like that you actually play on the grass instead of a mat.
The Bar and Grill is awesome, cheap beer ($ 2.5 for Shiner Bock) and good food (Burger and Fries).
It was fun.

This place is great, cold beer and great service! They also show the UFC fights at this place which is a plus. Only thing that would make it better would be to have beer on tap!

My husband and I love this place! It’s a great place to meet up with friends and hit some balls (large buckets only $ 11) or hang out on the patio and listen to the live music and eat some good food. The chicken nachos were to die for (I recommend replacing the cheese with their queso… delish) and the burger wasn’t too bad either! Drink prices are also very reasonable. Check this place out for sure! But get there early as the lanes fill up quickly on the weekends!

What an awesome and unique golf practice experience.
First two chipping green (that I saw) one with a big sand trap. Second, a giant putting green. Third plenty of practice tees for whacking the ball. Fourth, large buckets are a reasonable $ 11 (110 balls). And this is just the golf part.
They have a big patio area with live music. Have a drink and listen to the show. There is also a sports bar /​restaurant. There is also a playground for the kiddies to keep them happy. This place has it covered. The parking lot is packed but they have people out there guiding you to open spot, a nice touch.
To sum it up in one word: FUN!

Good FREE live music! definitely will go back if they have free music all of the time.

Been going to this place to listen to live music for years. I took a little hiatus when they stopped playing music for a while, so it is nice to see that they have that up and running again.
I went on a Tuesday night and the only bummer was that they only serve beer an wine. I can live with it though.
It is also a great place to hit some golf balls if you are into that kinda thing. Great place to go during the fall months in Texas!

In the year I’ve lived here, I’m sad to say I’ve never ventured over to Rolling Oaks! Kinda sad, considering it’s right by the house!
But I’m glad we did… we went up there for a birthday party. Took up 3 – 4 «lanes» on the end of the shooting range with our group of 15ish. Bought a couple of buckets of balls… I believe they were $ 11 each. The range is on top of a hill on the inside of 1604, and the breeze was wonderful! It was a such a nice night out, I enjoyed just watching everyone else!
Beer was average… $ 3 – 5 depending. There was a live band playing… they weren’t great but they provided good background noise! I didn’t try the food… so I don’t know about that.

This place offers golf until midnight! Cheap beers! Live music!
However, I had a helluva hard time trying to order beer! I somehow must have ‘snuck’ by the bouncer, whom I didn’t see, and went straight to the bar to grab us some beers while we hacked at golf balls. I got chewed out for not having some sort of armband that I knew nothing about. I told the bar tender that I just wanted a few beers, and I’ll leave immediately to go play golf! They seemed alright with that, and made me leave through the back door. I was stunned. I guess they don’t want my type in there or something… I was stunned by their bad attitude. Maybe a little better service would do wonders!
It seems that the terrible service ends at the bar. The pro shop was extremely helpful, letting us borrow golf clubs, which were in good condition to play around with while we hit a bucket of balls.
We even got a personal visit from the course ‘pro’ who gave us some pointers on our swings. Awesome, considering it was almost midnight, and we’d had several beers by that point!
The driving range was in fair shape. The sod was fresh, and green where you drive from, but the grass out on the range was in pretty bad shape. However, that doesn’t matter too much on the driving range, I’m not chipping out there!
It looks like they might have had a par 3 course at one time, or are planning one in the near future. They have a chipping green, and a putting green, which is pretty nice!
The driving range is well lit with these giant lights, so I’m not playing in the dark.
If only they’d straighten out their wait staff and bartenders to not act like jerks, I’d give them many more stars.

This place is in our «back yard» and I’m thankful for it! The management is friendly, the bathrooms are clean and the «bar food» is pretty good. Great place to have a few drinks and hack at some balls. If you go later in the evening don’t expect «quiet on you backswing», though. It’s a great place to hang out, there is always a breeze, and you can’t beat the location… especially for me. As a matter of fact, I’m otw now!
