In loving memory of Michael Lione. My Amu Mike has been taking me there since I was 17. Great food & 2 wonderful women run the place. Authentic, light ALL HOMEMADE food. Can’t miss for great food.
Just found out she closed the place. I hope her health is ok. Dammit really wanted to go 1 more time.

If you want great Italian food, then look no further than Virginia’s Café Vivaldi; just don’t expect anything fancy in décor. Virginia is the cook and depending on the time of day, the waitstaff as well. She is a character and you’ll fall in love with her and her cooking. While the décor certainly could use updating, the food is perfection. Her lasagna is the real deal, not the typical heavy ricotta induced coma American style. Her cheesecake is also stellar — light and fluffy. Prices are a bargain.
