This is one we go back to often. Nice flavors in the vegetarian burrito, and one of the better prices. Decent salsa bar, too.

Quick stop here was the best decision. Authentic Mexican food. Horchata and jimaca drinks were to die for. My husband had the burrito mojado and I had the carne asade plate. Both were nice size. Probably too big and both were very tasty. Carne asada paired with onions and peppers so delicious. I would recommend this spot to anyone in the ukiah area.

I would love to say this restaurant is stellar but in my experience it is hit or miss with the food I have received. The good– tamales are awesome as well as the taco salads The bad– received on numerous occasions now sour cream in my borrito that I have very specifically omitted from my order of said borrito. Still will be back though, good for a quick lunch option!

Huge burritos, excellent value. Traditional NorCal style plus«loco» with guacamole and sour cream. Many meat choices. Quality ingredients but unexceptional execution.

When this place first opened, it used to taste spectacular and was, by far, the best Mexican food Ukiah had to offer. Now? Not so much. The place has gone downhill; there is nothing about this place that makes me want to eat there. They have a good salsa bar with a variety of salsas, but if you ask for more chips the waitresses give you a death stare and seemed overall annoyed. Also, their prices have gone way up. I get that businesses are feeling the pressure of the economy, and minimum wage just went up in California, but their prices are way too expensive now. My favorite item used to be the chimichanga with a side of rice and beans. It used to be $ 9.75, but now it’s $ 14 which is ridiculous… When I went there, I was shocked by the prices. The food doesn’t taste as good as it used to, either; it looks and tastes rushed. The main owner, Gaby(I think that’s her name) is so unfriendly, unpleasant and just rude. She was my waitress about 2 months ago, and literally just dropped my food on the table with a clunk. No smile on her face or recognition of being happy. The staff, in general, are not friendly nor pleasant. There have been times(recently) where I’m waiting in line, ready to order, and it takes 3 – 5 minutes to get one of the staff members to take my order… Also, the place is extremely dusty and dirty; near the soda machine, there is a thick layer of dust on top of it as well as the counter behind it. In general, the rude staff, steep prices, and decline in food quality has never made me want to come back, which is unfortunate because this place used to be great. There are similar tasting Mexican restaurants in Ukiah they are just as cheap and just as friendly.

The food was good. My family and I ordered tacps, burritos, tostadad de ceviche, and carne asada plate. The burrito was probably the best thing we ordered. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their customer service. Only one girl was rude. The other was nice. I rather eat at an ok place with great customer service. Than with great food and horrible customer service. Just saying.

Has good food. The soda is to much and if you pay 2 $ you should get at least one free refill. They charge .50¢ for refills.

Why do we go to restaurants? For the food obviously and good food needs to be complimented by good service, that’s not the case here, there is a lady that helps at the cashier that it will be better if she stays home, I’m sure that she’s the owner but it will be better if she stays home to take care of the chickens in the back yard, she just can’t be there with a mad face attending customers, on the other side food was good, so if you want to go see mad faces with good food this is your place.

Salsa bar is awesome — a fresh small assortment of salsas. Breakfast served all day long. A great assortment of options for food. Service was quick and polite. Food was fresh and cooked to order. Cold beer and good chips and salsas. Was just what we were looking for after a day of driving and wanting a good lunch. If you find yourself in Ukiah and in need of a meal this is a great option to all the fast food in the area. 48

Once again, another good Mexican restaurant in Ukiah. I would probably recommend this place last out of all the Mexican restaurants, unless you really like Mexican coke.

I love Taco Loco, they feed me often… the black beans are a wonderful choice, the salsa bar lets you add the right kind of spice for you. The Mole is amazing, the fish tacos are real fish tacos, i don’t care for the deep fried breaded greasy tacos, I’ve had in other places. They have seasonal drinks along with the Horchata, like melon or hibiscus, lime… Mmmmm Most times fast, if you are in a hurry call ahead!

This little place was a bit of a disappointment. I was craving a good burrito and I had the misfortune of picking this place. They do have a very extension menu and many unique items. They have tacos de lengua. And the menudo looked good. We actually had carne asada burritos. They were just average. I had mine wet. The sauce was a bit thin. The guacamole was very good but nearly nonexistent. The best part was the horchata. Delicious.

I grew up in AZ and spent lots of time in Mexico. This is true to tradition here in Ukiah. Veggie tamale, chicken taco and fresh salsas all scream memories of childhood. Reminds me a lot of down south! Order at the counter and then eat some tradition in the cafeteria style dining room. I don’t eat manudo. But, it looked like the real deal.
