Zumiez

Ended up at this location twice within one week due to errors made by the employees.
I purchased a pair of shoes that were brought out to me by the sales rep after trying a few sizes on. When I got home, I noticed that I was given two right pairs. I went back and calmly explained the situation. I also explained how this was very inconvenient for me as I live an hour away.
I asked for a discount and the person I dealt with said he «wasn’t at liberty» to do anything for me. He failed to provide me with the contact of a manager, etc. I won’t be returning to this store due to the lack of professionalism (sizes should be verified by the employees) and customer service.

Great store for your skateboard needs (grip tape, wheels/​trucks, wax). Brittany (Store Manager) is the best. She made sure our skateboard needs were met on our visit.
I highly recommend this store for skateboard needs. They also have a wide selection of skateboard shwag (shirts, shorts, hats, stickers).

Zumiez has a rep for being difficult with returns and exchanges. This location lives up to that rep.
We purchased a shirt there, and returned 20 minutes later to exchange it for another size. The shirt had not been worn, tags were still on it, we had the receipt.
The young woman at the counter acted as if we were asking her to do something really distasteful. Odd, since she seemed totally comfortable wearing her t-​shirt identifying her as a «Colorful Mother Fucker». Language doesn’t offend me, but this seems like a poor choice of clothing for a mainstream mall.
To top it off, we ended up having to go back to Zumiez, because the CMF forgot to take the security tag off the item.

support your local skateshop. zumiez isn’t it. however they have a good selection of everything and the staff is friendly. store is messy.
Above is my tip for this store. I decided to put it here because I wanted to express the importance of shopping at your local skateshop. I’ve only had one good experience at a Zumiez with skateboard stuff because he was the only one I knew for a fact actually skateboarded. I didn’t meet anyone at this shop who said they actually skateboard. I hope one is there but your local skateboard is guaranteed to have actual skateboarders behind the counter.
Okay now with that behind me I can actually review this store. Its pretty messy. They don’t have a great selection of shoes IMO. Those are the lowlights. The highlights were the friendliness of the employees and the selection of merchandise, which were both plentiful. I’ve always had good experience with Zumiez employees. They always seem to love their job and it shows when they interact with you.
The skate section was pretty good. Zumiez used to sell pretty crappy Sector Nine boards but now they sell boards from one of my favorite companies: Goldcoast
. Their boards are so beautiful I almost don’t want to skate on one. I just want to hang them on my wall. They sell boards from other companies too but none I would personally buy.
Anyway, overall a decent store. I’m not a teenager anymore so I won’t buy a lot of my clothes from here so I won’t be coming here often, but I wouldn’t turn anyone away from it.

offers hoodies, denim, t-​shirts, shoes, i heart boobies bands
also carry decks, trucks, wheels, wax, bearings, tapes, stickers
most of what a sk8tr needs when mallin’
is handy for skater dvds but
when curious I check if they have any to pick up
before visiting the nephew
btw, they assemble the skateboard after you purchase
we just buy then assemble at home but they’ll do it for you
too, if you want them to lace up your shoes that’ll be done
yup there’s various ways to do that…
takes me back to my days… remember? we did that as well.
