The prime rib was very good and Lilly was fantastic at providing information and suggestions.

Arrived at 11am. Our bread finally came out & was cold, obviously yesterday’s. At this time of day, the bread should have been hot. Sat at the bar. Our waiter(Travis) acted like it was a real struggle to wait on us. Maybe he had a hard night. Our food was excellent except steak was ordered Medium Rare & came Medium. Was still good & not worth having to send it back. Had steak & Lobster with baked potato & Seseme Salad w/Ahi(great). Second loaf of bread was hot. Love to come here. Will be back, but maybe not at the bar.

First, our dinners were very good. Marty was a fabulous server, attentive but not overly so. Unfortunately I left my credit card when we left. Logan Peer, one of the managers found my card, UPS’d it to me in Houston, paying for it himself! This is service way above and beyond. I will go out of my way to eat here every time I am in Tyler.

I sat a the bar and had Eddie as a server. He was very attentive to me and everyone else at the bar. Good guy! I ordered the 10oz salmon. It was very good as were the vegetables that came with it. Great job!

I ordered a ribeye steak for $ 26.99 the other day and it was the worst steak I’ve ever had. They decided to prepare the ribeye by putting it in boiling water, and barely used the pan. I’m NEVER going back again! Terrible

All i got to say is dont bother eating here. I ordered a 10 oz ribeye and my husband ordered prime rib which they were out of. We also ordered a salad on my part and soup on my husbands part. They brought our food with no soup or salad. My 10 oz ribeye was about ¼ inch and full of fat and was well done instead of medium. The t-bone my husband got was so over seasoned he basically choke on it so to say the least. I will not be going back to Outback

I have frequented this Outback for many years, and it’s usually good. My husband and I went last Wednesday because he loves the prime rib. The food was fine, although the prime rib was a bit over done in my opinion. The service was weak at best. Our server was Emily, and she pretty much ignored us the whole time. I guess she was too busy chit chatting with her co workers, in plain sight of us. I have been a server for many years, and I don’t care what goes on the back, but if you are horsing around two tables down from me and I need or want something, that is a problem.

My wife and I took my daughter here for her 28th birthday. Wife and Daughter had the filet and lobster tail and I had the Chicken Fried Steak. Everything was just perfect. Steaks were tender, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Lobster was steamed perfectly and the server treated us like royalty. The birthday girl was treated to a nice slice of carrot cake to top off the Dinner. We could not have been happier. Best Outback experiance we have ever had.

We have been sitting at our table literally for one hour and no food yet. Ridiculous! The manager just came by and said one of our orders was not done yet. We ordered steak… its a steakhouse. Totally unsatisfactory. Long time before we come back here.

The service was very good, my waitress was Lily, she made me feel very welcome with out it feeling fake. The food was really good. I got the crab stuffed mushrooms as appetizer then the sirloin with classic seasoning, it came out great. Good taste and juicy. Lily was spot on worth her service and general friendless, made me feel welcome. As a truck driver I’ve been to plenty restaurant’s so good service is well appreciated. I tipped her well! Plan on going back if I’m ever in Tyler’s TX again.

Good ambience, good staff, great food! We did have to wait about 30 minutes but they brought us samples which made the wait easier. Once seated the waiter seemed new and unfamiliar with some of the pricing when asked. Though he was polite and got our food out on time. Highly recommend, though if you plan on going on a Saturday, make a reservation!

The best part about this meal was the waitress. The Steak was cold and dry. Sent it back and it returned the same temp but with the flavor of smoke. Not impressed.

So disappointed with our experience here it’s hard to describe! To begin, the A/C was dripping on us and creating a puddle under our table. The food presentation was nonexistent. I guess they figure you’re going to just eat your food so who cares what it looks like when they bring it out. There were 9 of us eating and only one meal was brought out correctly from steaks being over cooked, crab legs under cooked and scallops completely forgotten about. I’m pretty sure our waiter was either high or just terrible at his job, maybe both. It was so bad, I’m pretty sure none of us are going here ever again!

We since received a gift certificate from the manager of our local Outback and we visited the restaurant December 26th. Our experience was very pleasant and enjoyable. Here is the open letter we wrote them: My wife and I had dinner at your establishment on 12/10/2011. I must sadly report that our experience was sub par at best. Let’s start with our server, Taylor. He was kind and respectful but did not seem too focused on our needs. You see, it took an awful long time for our order to come out. Everyone else around us was receiving quick and snappy service, even those who were seated after us. After waiting about 30 minutes or so Taylor ran off to check the status of our food. Our order some how got keyed in as a «to go» order and was boxed up getting cold. Our server placed the food onto plates and brought it out to us. I can not for the life of me figure out how that could have happened. The food itself was good but starting to get cold. At the end of our meal he brought us our check BUT never offered us a survey as he had done for the table next to us. Hmmmmm I wonder why? The second half of me and my wife’s irritation came from a gentlemen that was in the restaurant going table to table doing card tricks. I thought that the in-house entertainer was pretty cool but he NEVER stopped at our table. Everyone else around us got a show. The only thing the I could come up with is that me and my wife were the ONLY African Americans on that side of the restaurant. I left your establishment insulted and made to feel like a second class citizen. I really don’t think my wife and I will be returning anytime soon. I doubt that anyone in management will take my complaint seriously enough to care but I could not be silent. I needed to voice my thoughts. Thank you for you time. Michael and LaTosha Dotson

Nothing really special. The steaks are perhaps a bit above average. Keep in mind this is a national chain. This particular location finally updated their bar area. Fosters on draft is good.

This was a great visit. I had the USDA Choice ribeye and my wife rack of lamb. Both were cooked perfectly. The lobster add on as well perfect. The sauce that comes with the lamb is great for dipping the fries in! The spinach dip was fantastic but will instantly add to you waist line! My server Jeremy H. made frequent stops to make sure we have everything we needed. Good job Outback!

I usually don’t do nationwide chain restaurants, but thought I’d share for people who are looking for a place to go. Had a late night dinner here last night, Coconut shrimp app was very good. I had the outback special 11zo steak salad. It was perfect. The staff here was very nice and friendly, keep the drinks coming without having to flagging them down. Service here was just excellent here and I’m so glad we decided to pick here eat. So if you are in town, have no fear, you can eat here, it’s not like you have a lot of choices to choose from.
