Tj Maxx

I’m always a fan of TJ Maxx — discounted things? Yes please! It’s always a good place for disposable fashion and décor.
This store is very clean and well-​organized. It has an extensive handbag section, including some good brandname selections (i.e. Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Tory Burch, etc.). It also has a decent selection of designer watches.
In terms of clothing and shoes, it’s pretty on par for the size of the store. I think the only thing that wasn’t up to par is the home décor section. It does, however, have a pretty decent selection in smaller furniture pieces, such as console tables and accent chairs.

Bath towels check! The place is pretty well organized and isn’t it fun to look at the tags to see how much you’re saving in the end? Hopefully, there’s none of that JCPenny mark up nonsense going on here, but I haven’t heard of shady business practices.
Also, I count it a success to not buy anything in the check out waiting line. So many things to look at and then realize you don’t really need…

Do not come to this TJmax, they have the worst customer service ever! Bought a watch 2 days ago, after I removed the price tag to wrap it up as a gift, I realize the watch doesn’t work. So I brought it back to the store to get it returned, I was waiting in line for a long time, then got redirected to the jewelry store, then I was told to wait for the manager. After all that… Of course they refuse to return my money. Good luck returning anything!

Nice, has lots of good deals, brands, and designer bags, cookware, always find good deals.

TJ Maxx may not be as large or as crammed full of stuff as Ross, but it offers a much better shopping experience. They have cheap prices, the store is relatively well kept (it’s not Nordstrom, but it doesn’t feel like you’re in the third world), and it’s fairly well organized. Like many of these places, it has far more stuff for women than men, but even guys can find some good deals on name-​brand clothing.

They have some great, affordable finds that I am incredibly satisfied with in my new apartment. However, at this particular occasion and just moments ago I had a young woman ring me up and say absolutely nothing during our entire transaction. I said «hello» and she just stared blankly ringing up my items, and proceeded to hand me my bag with no smile or an ounce of customer service. I might we well have been in some sort of Self-​Checkout. I have enjoyed this location’a customer service in the past, hoping it was just an off day for that cashier.

The store is very clean & organized. I didn’t find anything I really liked (or needed). There aren’t very many name brand items, including home stuff. Unfortunately, that’s how these type of stores are… hit and miss.
They did carry the usual stuff other TJ’s carry: coffee, gift bags, kitchen utensils, etc. The employees seem nice, the customers not so much.

These kind of stores are always hit or miss. I always liked TJ Maxx in the past. On my recent visit, I found that the housewares and shoes were full of possibilities. The clothing left lots to be desired. Unlike Ross, the store is clean well and organized. The staff are also helpful.

Worst place ever bad customer service. My mom went to return a pan that got ugly right when she used it when we went inside with it there like did you even get it here where’s the tag like are you sirious this shot came out defective and they didn’t give a shit. They made it seem like we were lying and then the manager (i think he was the manager because they were asking him for approval) and some other cashier were just being CHISMOSOS (NOSEY) at through the window and talking shit. And then the cashier that was helping us asked the manager if she should give us store credit and he’s like yes whatever it won’t make a difference. Like fucking idiot. I guess it’s just that easy to get a position as a manager. Rude service, bad attitude, workers there need to get there shit straight.

Do not shop here. We saw a couple of chairs and had them in our possession and they were already sold. How is that possible? We just took them off the shelf and had them in our hands and the lady said they were sold. If they were sold then they should have had taken them off the floor. The sales associate was an idiot. I will never step back into this store again.

I came here for the first time last week and was pretty impressed. It reminds me of Ross and Marshall but nicer. They sell designer purses and clothes for less.
I was in and out pretty quick because I just wanted to look around. I wasn’t planning on buying anything because I didn’t need anything. I think I’ll come back during the holidays because there are so many potential gift items here such as designer purses, perfumes, home goods and much more.
Although I was in and out pretty quick and didn’t buy anything, I left a happy customer. I usually go to Walmart for home goodies but maybe next time I will come here instead.

Like to shop here, but they need to update their store hours on Unilocal. T.J.MAXX does not open until 11:00am on Sundays, not 10:00am as posted on Unilocal.

Am I even allowed to give any TJ Maxx more than 3 stars?
Pros: BIG and Inventory is huge.

Sometimes it’s clean. Sometimes (most times) it’s not. Customer service is depressing and makes me want to leave, but when I need socks, you really can’t do better than the prices here (unless you’re willing to face the horror that is Ross).
Furniture/​Housewares sections are impressive.
Aisles are wide.
Selection is immense.
Layout is easy.
Parking lot is huge but filled with morons.
This is a crap review, but really, what else can you say?

The store in general is okay, that’s not including the staff and the maintenance of the place. Most of the staff here look so miserable. I understand that it’s not everyone’s dream job to work retail I’ve done it but don’t make it visible so that the customers notice it. And the restrooms. Those should always be clean ! Probably one of the nastiest bathrooms I’ve walked into.

NOT impressed at all.
Bought a pair of sandals here yesterday. Wore them last night for about one hour. Then noticed the beads are already falling off on both shoes.
Brought them back this morning less than 24 hours after buying them. The girl at the counter initially refused a refund because they were «used»! Yes — they were. I had to wear them for just ONE HOUR to see how bad the quality was. Sorry TJ Maxx — but last time I checked wasn’t it against the law to sell defective merchandise and refuse to refund it?
Two stars because she grudgingly gave me store credit in the end. But not before I’d been made to feel like a con artist trying my luck, humiliated at the cash register. Like I wanted to return them? I only got them yesterday! What I wanted was nice shoes that don’t fall apart after one hour!
She then had the nerve to get pissy with me as I was walking away from the register because I didn’t return her suddenly cheery «thank you!»
I get TK Maxx is cheap but it’s still supposedly designer quality and I expect even a $ 30 pair of shoes to last longer than one hour! I also expect when an item is clearly defective to be given a straight refund or store credit without question and certainly without being made to feel bad like *I* am the one at fault.
Never ever had a problem until now. Very disappointing.

This location has a lot of potential. It is clean and well organized… unlike their competitors.
As anyone who has shopped at a discount clothing store knows… stores in this industry are usually very messy (clothes on the wrong size rack, display items mixed up, etc).
My issue with this TJ Max is that their Men’s Department is practically nonexistent. The store is pretty much a women only store.

To appease a female friend, I accompanied her to this particular store.
This store is very organized and has very wide aisles even where long rows of clothes are displayed for greater maneuverability. The majority of the clothes are for women.
In their kitchen department, their display models are gathering dust. Many of their clearance shelves are empty.
Different colors of the same model of shoe may be priced differently at this location. Some sneakers are less expensive than at Sports Authority even after using discount coupons at the sports store.
A brief power outage forced them only to accept cash during this particular visit, but at least they informed the customers about it prior to them walking into the checkout.
One can only enter through the entrance and exit through the exit… but they’re not clearly marked. We found this out the hard way by attempting to stand in front of the exit for a minute while waiting for it to open.

I’ve been going to this store since they opened way way back when it started out as the Tustin Market Place. Always great home décor & accessories, kitchenware, organizational supplies, and stationary for deep discounted prices. Same great prices for women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories too. Men’s and children’s departments though, are very small and have very little selection. I’ve snagged really great deals on a few things like Michelle watches, Rebecca Minkoff purses and designer dresses like the photo I attached of the Giavanna Dress by Walter Baker, that are still available on the designer’s website!
This store is usually clean and organized especially after their makeover. Customer service is usually friendly. But the only thing I really don’t like about these stores (and it’s sister store Marshalls) is that the cashiers usually try to push you to get the credit card… No thank you…
If you have the time to browse you’ll definitely find something you’re not even looking for!

Organized chaos is the best way to describe this TJ Maxx store.
I came to TJ Maxx a few months back in search for comfortable work shoes. I found them in the form of Michael Kors flats for the low price of $ 59.99 (compared to retail price of $ 106.99). Score!
Personally, I prefer Marshalls to TJ Maxx (so no, I’m not a Maxxinista), but a bargain is a bargain.

Fabulous TJ’s I make a point of stopping at every time I am even a bit close to.
So does everyone else, this location is ALWAYS packed, parking a b*tch every single time.
Still, well worth it, they have a Runway section, everything is stocked to the gills every time and I have yet to walk out without at least one fabulous dress from the clearance rack.
