Found this place just walking around, and met this wonderful stylist named Amber. She was very sweet and was able to take me as a walk in (can’t beat $ 30 for a blow out)! She did and amazing job and I can’t wait to come back again, thanks again Amber!

This place is the bomb! BEST FACIAL I’VE EVER HAD! Lupe will absolutely transform your skin, I already could tell such a difference after just one facial. My acne has cleared up significantly and my pores have virtually disappeared. Not only does Lupe get down with extractions and serums, she will give you the most relaxing neck and shoulder massage of your life. She also uses Osmosis skin care and all the products are organic and smell amazing. I would recommend Lupe to anyone and I look forward to continuing to see my skin vastly improve every time I see her!

Came here for the first time a couple weeks ago. after my sister in law recommended me to see Victoria to do my hair, I am so glad I finally went in to see her! She is GREAT! She did a great job and Ive never been happier with my hair! After a recent bad hair job (somewhere else) I was so worried how my hair would end up, but she did a great job! Thanks Victoria!

Great Little hidden gem in old town Tustin. Great colorist great people nice owner I’m always happy after my services. Osmosis facial is a must have.

I went in yesterday equipped with a Groupon. I called them last weekend (they are closed on Sunday and Monday, FYI). Amber called me back promptly on Tuesday and we set an appointment for Friday. I was pleasantly surprised at her ability to accommodate me with such short notice. She washed, deep-​conditioned, blow-​dried and styled my hair. Overall, I was there for about 1.5 hours. I loved my experience with Amber! She is very friendly and we talked like old friends for the whole time I was there. She was prompt without me feeling hurried. She also asked me about my preferences throughout my time there, which was really nice.
Great experience. I’d highly recommended it and be back soon!

Tara is AMAZING!!! Best haircut I’ve had! She does awesome layers and coloring. I completely trust her with my hair which doesn’t come easy. Nobody else is allowed to touch my hair but her! Oh and the scalp message she gives with her shampoo is pretty awesome too! :)

I had a groupon. My hairstylist was Kaylee. She did a great job with my hair and when I told her, I may want to go shorter after the haircut, she told me to come back and she would change it. I waited a few days, came back, and she changed to the perfect haircut with no extra charge! AMAZing!

Went to Tara for a keratin smoothing treatment and she really did a great job and is super sweet! I highly recommend the salon!

I had a great experience with Tara! Another friend of mine had come here before and had good things to say so when I saw the Groupon, I jumped on the offer and bought it. I wanted a shorter cut due to the summer heat though was slightly afraid as I’ve had past experiences where the hair stylist ends up taking too much off. This was not the case. When I arrived, Tara greeted me with a smile and then asked me what I wanted. She washed my hair and gave me a nice head massage. When she cut my hair, she constantly asked if I liked the length and told me what she would be doing. After my hair was cut, she curled it and I loved how it looked. I’ve never gone so short before in my entire life but the style really made me look young and fresh! I had a great experience and would highly recommend. Tara had a sweet personality and I enjoyed my time with her. Come here and they will take care of you! Getting an appointment was easy too, no long wait unlike other salons that offer Groupons! Come and ask for Tara!

I went to Shannon and she did an amazing job! She fixed my hair and brought it back to life because it was so damaged and the color was not done correctly by the previous stylist I had gone to. I am beyond pleased and happy with it! She really knows what she’s doing! I definitely recommend her!

I have very dry hair that is frizzing with all the grey! It took forever to style. I went to Shannon for the Keratin treatment and WOW! I’ve got compliments from friends and strangers everyday since I had it done. And I just jump out of the shower and blow dry :) I’ve known Shannon for years and have always admired her incredible talents with hair and makeup (this girl has got skills!) but thought my greying hair was just something I had to learn to live with. I am thrilled with how silky it is and I highly recommend her!

This girl Shannon! Was amazing! She got me at least 5 shades blonder and my hair is still in great condition! I trust her with my blonde! And wouldn’t let anyone else touch my hair!!! Thanks your amazing!

I get a lot weird about cutting my hair. I like it long with some layering and it needs to be thinned out. No one, and I mean no one has ever done this properly… until Shannon C came along.
I would drive 30 or even more miles for this woman to cut my hair. She does a perfect job, every time. This salon is affordable too! Shannon is the only person I have let cut my hair in four years. She also cuts my daughter’s and sister’s hair. She does the best color too!

Shannon does wonders! I recommend her to anyone needing any service done, from cuts, highlights, to color correction. The girl knows what’s she’s doing and always delivers 110%

Aly is AMAZING! Color, cuts, up do’s, she can do it all! Her work is FABULOUS! I’m always super happy with my results! She previously worked at 13 the Salon, which was also in Tustin and I just had to follow her!
This was my first time at Hypnotic Salon and Spa and I’m glad this is Aly’s new home. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and the salon is so cute and has such a cozy feeling! I really enjoyed my visit and will continue to go back!

I went in for a Keratin smoothing treatment. I’ve had them before and know what to expect. I went to Tara, who is a super sweet girl. I really liked her. But the treatment she did on me did not work. At all. My hair is just as frizzy and hard to manage as it was before. She said I could wash it right away, but I waited 3+ days just in case, used all the right products. I lost over $ 100. My loss.
I called to let her know, and asked what she would do. She didn’t really offer me anything, other than to come in, and charge me for another service… I just wasn’t interested in anything other than a refund, or at least have someone else do the treatment again. This place is NOT good for Keratin, can’t comment on anything else.

I not only love the salon, I love the quaint little setting in Old Town Tustin.
I go to Hailey who is a magician with color. I’m always afraid to try new stylists because my hair is both curly and fine (an unusual combination) which makes it a not-​so-​straightforward task. Hailey nailed the cut on the first try. No small feat in my experience.
The entire staff is friendly and the shop is cute and inviting. The only reason it doesn’t get a 5 star from me is that it gets really, really hot in there before they want to turn on the AC. Sweating like a pig is not so conducive to feeling cute.

Love this place. Everyone is sooo nice! I got my hair cut by Tiffany and it was exactly what I wanted, facial by shaab and it was very relaxing and soothing.

Just got my hair cut at Hypnotic. I was a first time customer and got a great deal. I was immediately (5 minutes before my appointment time) seated and given a great cut by Victoria. My hair is pretty straight foreword but she did a wonderful job. It was fast courteous and exactly what I wanted. I was offered coffee and snacks and got a shampoo, deep condition, cut and style in about an hour and fifteen minutes. I will definitely be back.

Let’s admit it. we judge a hair dresser on how good their hair looks. Well, Victoria is always sporting the coolest and cutest hairstyles. Always unique and totally classy. I knew I had to try her out to style my locks. I only wish I had the balls to wear cute colors and styles like she does!
Victoria is awesome. She really listened to what I wanted and it came out just how I asked. I got partial highlights and layers, and she’s great with color and cut. She even gave me a groupon deal, so I got a free deep conditioning. My hair felt so silky smooth afterwards. As for price, I found it to be very affordable, and the whole salon seems quite professional.
Sometimes I worry about that awkward conversation you have to try and come up with while the hairstylist is doing your hair, but Victoria is so sweet and personable. she made me feel really comfortable and welcome.
The salon itself is SO cute too! It has that pinup/​old hollywood look and all the girls working there seem to have that style. So if you’re ballsier than I am I bet they can do just about any cool color and style you like!
As a side note, be really careful about where you park… watch out for any signs, they will tow you if you’re in the wrong spot.
Anyway, you should totally check out this salon. Ask for Victoria because she rocks and I highly recommend her!
