My fiancé and I were on a road trip from Mississippi to Atlanta, and stopped in Tuscaloosa for coffee. We were heading back to the interstate when we saw this place. We turned the car around so we could go climb! It was really fun, a little scary at the top, but totally worth it! A great pit stop!

A nice well planned Park operated by Tuscaloosa County Parks And Recreation Authority (PARA) This location has a walking/​jogging track (approx 1 mily) a large grassy area some covered picnic areas and a playground.
The only negative is that there seems to be some seedy type folks who gather there sometimes, you just need to be aware of who is there.
