This is deffinitly gana be my goto spot while im drunk on the strip like i am so impress. I thought it was an average spot, but once i started goin down on my pita i had to rethink my whole life… I definitely would love to take a girl on a quick date to grab a couple of these bad boys

Excellent service and even better food! Stopped in to grab a buffalo chicken wrap while passing through for work and ended up ordering for catering for a large lunch-in meeting with clients… I highly recommend!

the price range is more than what you pay next door at Chipotle, and the amount of chicken breast in my pita was pretty small. it was kind of like a rolled up taco. i think a lot of us students are spoiled by how big chipotle burritos are, compared to size of pita i was served both times at pita pit.

Decent food. Lot of variety to choose from. It was my first time at Pita Pit. Did not like the girl who made my falafel wrap. Although i was the only one in the restaurant, she seemed to be in a hurry and i later realized I missed adding a few things in the wrap that I would have liked(sauce etc). Had to get it on the side. Other servers(guys) were very patient with other customers who came in later.

The food is great, and its easy to find something healthy! A little more expensive, but worth the price. But I’d recommend dining in rather than calling for delivery. Last time I called in a delivery for two Pitas, the employee on the phone told me it would be 30 – 45 minutes because the delivery driver had other orders. I understood that, and I had some empathy as I’ve worked in food service myself. However, it took 2 hours for the food to arrive. I called the store after an hour just to check up on the order, to which the employee on the phone told me it would only be a few more minutes, because the food was out of the store. An hour later, my boyfriend was running out the door, hungry and irritated when the food showed up. I understood it wasn’t the delivery girl’s fault and I tipped her still, and she apologized. I only wish that the store would have been more honest about the timing, and when I called they could have said they were swamped and it would be an hour. It sucked because I had to wait so long, I wouldn’t have ordered if I had known.

This place is so good. I was obsessed. I spent weeks looking for one of these in San Diego before I finally found one. It’s like subway for pitas… but tastier. Everything I have tried has been excellent. My favorite is the buffalo chicken. I always get double meat which can get a little pricey. I’m not sure if they still do but when I was there they took Bama cash which was a definite plus. Although, I’m not even sure you guys have Bama cash anymore… damn I’m old.

Let me just start off by saying Pita Pit is somewhere that you will dream about in your sleep. OK, maybe I was exaggerating a little but this is a unique restaurant that will have you coming back for more and then some. I will admit I have only had the steak and cheese the two times I have gone but what I love is that they add the vegetables while they are on the grill. My one complaint with subway is that the meat and cheese is hot and all the vegetables are cold. I don’t know if this is just me that doesn’t enjoy it like that but here at Pita Pit they throw anything you want on the grill and will add any number of sauces. This is a must if you are looking for a quick lunch and have already been to Roly Poly or Subway and are looking for somewhere new. «The Usual» for me: steak and cheese on a wheat pita. Banana peppers, green peppers, red peppers, onion, spinach, provolone all on the grill. I found that a combination of the jalapeño ranch and chipotle sauces compliment each other well.

Pita Pit is like the cooler, hip brother of Subway. You choose your items, they make it, dress it, done. Huge flavor. Huge portions. Those are the things that I like about Pita Pit, and that’s why it gets an easy, solid four stars. I ordered mine with ham, chicken, jalepenos, onions, bell peppers, spinach, cheddar cheese, lettuce, hummus, teriyaki sauce, on a wheat pita. It was massive! They stuff those things. It was so full, that half of it busted out of the bottom while I was eating, leaving a steaming pile of awesome on my wrapper to finish with a fork later. Two meals for one($ 8 with chips). This is a great spot on the Strip, and one every Bama student needs to check out. They take Bamacash.

Fresh, delicious and authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in the middle of Tuscaloosa. During my year of living in Tuscaloosa I ate here at least twice a week and I never had a bad meal. Their hummus is creamy and flavorful, with lots of olive oil. They give the same generous servings common in the South, with piles of soft and warm pita bread and theirs is one of the only babaganooshes I’ve ever really enjoyed and not just tolerated. They describe falafels as «Middle Eastern hushpuppies» for the ignorant, which just slays me. They are located in a typical fast food type place with a counter that you go up to and order and there is outdoor seating, and the people are all really nice. Other stand outs here include their minty black iced tea and lentil soup. Anything you get here will probably be tasty, but I’d probably stick to all the good stuff and not got with the more Americanized offerings, like burgers.
