This is a decent enough venue and I realize in a small town, in a non thriving economy they are struggling to keep open yet some basic things might be nice. Let me start with the positives. The size of the venue is great for seeing a concert. Acoustics are really good. It’s a terrific layout with very good seating. The downside? First, the overall feel of the place was there is a need for some cleaning. Second it’s cold in the theater.(I was there in March 2013) It takes more than ticket sales to keep a venue like this open. Fundraising, grants, membership… it’s a huge challenge and I hope they can make it.

Community theater at it’s best. I’ve seen 5 performances over the last 4 years and I have enjoyed them all. The group is low budget and creative. This keeps the cost down. The building has recently been renovated and looks good. However, because of the current economic market, they don’t have enough money to really heat the building so bring a sweater.(It’s not that cold, but if you’re used to the Wang Center, you might find it cooler than you are used to). Because of all of the colleges, the quality of the performers is quite good. I’ve seen some good comedies and some first performances that surprised me. It is home to «The Country Players», «Ja’Duke Theater Company», and«Arena Civic Theatre». The Halloween performances are my favorite
