This nature«museum» is beautiful! The staff put a lot of effort into developing displays that are realistic, informative and visually appealing. The sides of the exhibits are transparent, allowing my toddler to enjoy the museum, too. She loved exploring and seeing all the animals.

This place is fabulous. I have a biology degree and work in the wildlife field so this place is super fun for me. I love the dioramas and the people who work here are very nice. I wish it was open more in the winter but if you’re in town check it out!

My nieces really like this discovery center. It is in a new building and still shiny. The location is amazing, right on the earth embankment of one of the Connecticut River dams. It looks down onto the low side of the dam and bridge. It is in some of the old Turners Falls mill buildings. It is small but the exhibits are nice. It has a fish ladder which is fun to visit. My sister lives out there and we went to one of their coffee lectures. I enjoyed the speaker. It also has a good museum store, with interesting cheap stuff for kids.
