Right next to Jack in the Box, this is an easy location to pick up those last minute items. The only thing is that the company is doing more than last minute items now. You can almost replace your typical grocery store. Mind you, Dollar General has almost nothing on even dollar($ 1.00, $ 4.00) increments. That means that you don’t get those oddly-sized products that are actually more expensive than in the typical stores. I shop for Mountain Dew and grocery items mostly, but I buy some toiletries and Tide and other cleaning items. The service was friendly, even though the customers in front of me were not buying in order, running back and forth from the cash register to pick up other items. Life happens.

This Dollar General is where the Hollywood Video used to be. The parking is shared with the Jack in the Box next door, and it’s a little small. But there is more parking in the larger main lot behind the store. I’ve never been inside a Dollar General before today. The first thing I noticed when I entered the store was that it was bright and clean. The second thing I noticed is that despite its name, there are very few things here on sale for just a dollar. The bathroom doors were open when I walked by, and they looked very clean inside. The aisles are rather narrow. Two people who have stepped back to peruse opposing shelves cannot pass each other very easily. I also noticed there are no pass-throughs in the middle of each aisle, so you have to walk to the end(and look at all the merchandise) before you can look at the next aisle. Shopping psychology meets store layout! The people working here are friendly and it was a quick check-out.
