AMAZING service. My boyfriend raved about the breakfast burrito. The only negative I have to say about this place is that their pancakes aren’t very good. They were very plain and had no flavor.

Visiting from San Diego. Tiny mom and pop diner. Menu was dated and food was simple but SO good! Great flavor and quick service! Breakfast of eggs and potatoes and Ham. Haven’t had a breakfast so tasty in a long time.

My 2yo son and I usually go to Huckleberrys when we go out to breakfast, but one day we tried AJs, and we always go there now. The food is good and priced perfect. Our food is always brought out quickly and the staff love to talk to my son and they don’t roll there eyes when they walk by and see he threw down a crayon or made a mess. They’ll Ben pick his crayon up and give it too him. I clean up my sons mess of coarse but often time at Huckleberrys I can see it in the waitresses faces when we come in, like an oh great a toddler face. I feel like my son is an in convince there, but at AJs we feel so welcomed. Plus they bring our check fast too so we don’t have to wait around another ten minutes after eating, keeps my sons meltdowns from happening. All in all they have great food, and amazing costumer service I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Honestly came to this place because I might be dying from kidney failure or diabetes. I order the Camp Fire special… Best breakfast a dying man could ask for. Highly recommend this place if you feel ill. The staff is super friendly and the food is not half-bad.

Looks like this café has been here for a while, good and fast service. Ordered chicken fried steak and that would never go wrong whenever I’m in café’s. Companion had the clubhouse with salad.

So I decided to come here after reading the wonderful reviews. The employees are quite rude and the salmon I ordered was really dry. I had to drink water to wash it down. I don’t think I’ll ever be back.

Excellent place for breakfast in Turlock! The family and I went decided to go to breakfast on Sunday morning. We arrived just after nine in the morning. There were a few people waiting. It only took about five minutes to be seated. The waitress, Kacey, was a ray of sunshine! She was very attentive throughout our dining experience. The food was AMAZING. My family ordered a variety of things on the menu. The raspberry French toast was DELICIOUS. The linguisa, eggs, hash browns were tasty. The hash browns were crispy and the eggs were cooked to perfection. The burger and fries was also fabulous. This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The menu offers a wide variety of items that will please a group of people. I would highly recommend this place the next time you are in Turlock! I forgot to take pictures:(

This is my favorite place to have a cheese & mushroom omelette. It’s served with has browns & biscuits & gravy. The staff is efficient & friendly. The atmosphere is 1950 – 1960 style. It isn’t open late every day. Lunch time it’s very busy.

The best Bacon Patty Melt in years!!! Great and friendly staff. Quick service and delicious selections! Never ending coffee and smiles. A pleasant and enjoyable meal will be a Sure Thing at AJ’s
This used to be my favorite place to eat, but no more. The owner is firing people left and right. To bad the atmosphere has changed. With chris, the cook, gone, I will no longer eat there . The food and service is getting worse there. The best cook they had is gone now. Service just sucks now. Not a nice place any more

I used to go to this place all the time as a kid. I would wake myself up really early on every Saturday morning just so I can go with my parents. Now I have grew up and moved to a different city. Although I do not missed Turlock much, however, this restaurant that will always be in my memory.

Remember Coco’s in the 90s? This place feels JUSTLIKETHAT. Waitresses all over the place that you can’t help but run into, mushy booths that you want to snuggle down in, quick service and endless coffee with that little orange coaster cover if you get decaf… so many great childhood memories relived here. Food is good – don’t make the mistake of ordering hashbrowns instead of the breakfast potatoes.

Freshly squeezed orange juice??? Oh whatttt !!! And I can totally get it served as a mimosa($ 4.99)… even better!!! Mimosas are also served all day. Total plus and super delicious. I was totally hoping they would do bottomless mimosas but this is so not the place for that. This is a nice little diner aimed to served families. There was tons of little kids running around during my visit. The service is pretty attentive but the food took a bit longer than I thought to come out, it was super bowl Sunday though so I will give them a break for that. I had two little kids on my table which were getting a bit anxious waiting for their food. We asked the waitress for some color crayons so they could color their coloring sheet and none were provided. Oh well, no biggie, thank goodness for iPhone technology and games. As for the food, not too shabby. I ordered the mile high platter from their special menu($ 10.25). It consisted of a biscuit at the bottom, topped with a sausage patty and then drenched with country gravy. I loved that I had more than enough gravy to go with the whole meal item. It had a side of has brown potatoes as well. The menu is pretty diner basic. Not sure if I would go back being that there wasn’t anything else that caught my attention but over all, not a bad place if you’re looking for a decent meal.

My boyfriend loves this place. Given the option, he would come here for breakfast every time! They have a very friendly staff. Waitress walks around checking on coffee all the time. Food is good and fairly prices. You get a good amount of food too. They quickly seat you as well.
