The Office Bar & Grill

This is a «REGULARS ONLY» pub. If you don’t have years of visits under your belt you will get poor service and treatment. They are set in their ways and boring. The food is marginal at best… They fry most everything and use old dirty oil doing it.

This bar is calm, decent drinks and some nice billiards tables. Good place to hang out for a couple hours. The only downside is the music costs money to listen.

Went in with friends, stood at the bar for 10 minutes and had the two bartenders look at us but not serve us. We finally left. It was overall a pretty lame/​older crowd and the service (or lack thereof) was even lamer.
Will not be returning.

Since moving to the area a few months ago, I have been looking for a place to hang my hat a couple times a week. Having eaten there several times, I find the food consistently good. The drinks are very reasonable and the staff is extraordinary. I have been served by several different bar staff, all are friendly and provide great service. If you’re there in the late afternoon, the jukebox is excellent. I always look forward to my next visit.

Stars based on bar vibe. Bar is cozy, laid back and has an awesome outdoor patio! They are always busy regardless of the number of guests, because there normally only seems to be one waitress at a time. Regardless of this, they are always beyond friendly. 4 stars to bar atmosphere and 3 stars to the food, because I have not tried their sandwiches, yet. Wings are breaded and a little too hot for my taste. Chips are a bit flavorless despite the toppings. The chicken tenders are yum however they tend to skimp on the the sides. I counted 14 fries. I feel that the prices here are a little steep considering the quality and portions. This place is in a great location and parking is plentiful. Service is superb! I will be back, but more so because of the location and super chill outdoor patio, and the beer of corse. Bird houses everywhere outside. Love that!

I spent this past weekend dining at The Office. On Saturday night they have a great special of steak, salad and fries. Sundays are all you can eat spaghetti with a side of bread and salad.
Saturday: Great food. Awful service. Took several minutes to be noticed. Rarely was I checked up on and had to get up and seek service after waiting for 10 minutes with an empty glass. I asked for a fork for my salad after my other plate took it away. 45 minutes later I left and I had never gotten a fork, nor had she visited my table. It was a relatively slow night. On a side note, great space, great pool tables, great music and nice big TVs with sports going.
They provided my bill without details. They overcharged my card and when I pointed this out, asked if I could be given cash rather than reswipe the correct amount. It seemed they were well aware, but still looked iritated so I didn’t go further and point out that taking cash still means they charged me tax on something I never ordered.
Sunday: Arrived at 6. Same two staff manning the front. Pretty empty inside. Service was a bit better initially. Great food, but no bread came with the order. Requesting another plate of spaghetti and bread took about 15 minutes to get attention. When the plate came there was no fork and the waitress noticed and said she’ll get one. 7 minutes later, no fork. Cold spaghetti, requested another. Got, and thank goodness — they were out of spaghetti by 7pm.
What disturbed me most about these two nights was the absolute look of disgust on the face of the waitresses whenever I had to request something of them. I have no idea why they hated me. I sit and don’t do much of anything outside of writing or typing.
Great place. The staff needs to SERIOUSLY be reevaluated because it’s a drag on the reputation of what would otherwise be a great local spot.

Very friendly laid back atmosphere. The food was excellent. The beer was very affordable.

Bad: Amazingly bad smell. People still putting carpet in a bar? Really? Outstanding way to preserve the smell of some drunken nights and terrible food. Speaking of food…
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was microwaved. The bacon tasted like it was cooked yesterday. The whole patty was gray and slimy. Bacon very tough. With the smell and the lack of quality in food, I’d give this place a 1 star but I appreciate good service. It’s a dying art.
Avoid unless you just want a beer…

Great food and daily specials. I’ve never ordered something I didn’t like. There is usually great service but on game days it can be a bit slow but the hostesses never slow down. The tots with honey mustard are to die for! This is our go-​to bar in Olympia.

Looks a lot nicer from the outside. Inside needs a remodel, out of date and smells. Went in on a Friday night, wasn’t very busy but took forever to get served. Asked one waitress that was bringing food out to a table if we could order drinks and get a menu and were told «I’m off, I’m not working right now». Another waitress did come later and we ordered drinks and chips and salsa, which was basically Tostitos and Picante sauce out of a jar. She never came back and checked on us and we had to ask several times to get our bill and finally ended up going to the bar to pay.

Very good sandwiches and attentive service during a Sounders match.
Need to upgrade the TVs or pay for Hi Def service.
Good place to watch a game but a pretty laid back crowd.

Never been real busy when I’ve gone, but its a nice environment and good beers on tap.

I grew up in this town and The Office has come a long way. Clean and an awesome patio with great landscaping.

Good number of beers on tap (including micros and domestics), also a decent selection of liquor for those that prefer distilled beverages. The food is standard American pub fare and the service is consistently good. A great place for a post-​work excursion with the gang or to catch a ball game. A couple of pool tables, dart boards, and video games make for a fun place to tilt a couple.
