Great little place for coffee and sandwiches. It’s essentially a small café tucked into a corporate building, serving office workers and visitors to various businesses. Very hard to find, it’s on the ground floor of an office building, when entering the grounds driveway, hang a left, it’s on the left/west side of the eastern multi-story building. It’s in the WorkForce/WorkSource buildings overlooking Highway 101 and Cooper Point. I went there for breakfast based on reviews, but very friendly owner Larry admitted his café wasn’t a full-breakfast place, and recommended nearby Black Bear Diner. Nonetheless, and based on his friendly welcome, I decided to stay and had a delicious Turkey Chipotle grilled sandwich, very delicious, and ground coffee, total bill was $ 7.50, reasonable price for great food & beverage. Highly recommended local business worth supporting vs chain coffee/snack joints.

I have visited this spot a few times over the last month with a living social deal. It is a little tough to find because it is in the middle of a series of office buildings, but once inside it is pretty cute. There are only a couple tables, so it can get cramped super fast if there are more than a couple customers. I have always taken my coffee to go for that reason. The owner is the only person I’ve ever seen working, and he is really nice. He takes the time to ask a few questions in order to get my drink just right(a nonfat caramel latte, generally with an extra shot), and I appreciate that. There are also a variety of to go items, but I haven’t tried those. Drinks are made using Caffe D’arte espresso… which is good. Kind of curious considering how many great roasters there are in the Oly area, but whatever. If I am in the area again(near SPSCC) I will visit again.
