Very outdated apartments. The moment you open the door and enter, your first thought is «The 80’s are calling». When it rains, rainwater leaks into the apartment. The maintenance team are doing their best to keep the place clean and fix the problems but they are understaffed. Their gym is absolutely disgusting. It smells like fermented sweat and the air fresheners can’t cover that nasty smell. Sweat must have leaked into the carpet and dried out. The only solution for them would be to replace it. The equipment is very outdated. The complex feels otherwise safe and the exterior is well maintained. No issues with the neighbors.

If you are looking to live here, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere, the manager’s policy is to nickle and dime you whenever possible. Case: I paid rent by eCheck, but due to my personal good I used wrong account and check bounced, that’s my bad and I willingly accept the NSF for that, what I do NOT accept is when I called my bank they said that they check bounced the next day, still within the rent payment Grace period, however the management waited until days later when they could tack on additional late fees in excess of $ 85 before letting me know my rent was now past due. The management at this place will gleefully burn you whenever possible. The cherry on top of the crap sundae is that loud, proud racists take residence here and have harassed my wife, who is hispanic, quite vocally. Seriously, there are better places you could live, I will NOT be renewing my lease.

For the most part it was adequate, However they entered my apartment with out notice on more than 1 occasion. Chris(manager) charged me a rather high cleaning fee after I left it spotless. 129.00 to clean a bathroom vent and a floor. I had vacated over 15 days early and would expect a call as I left a laptop in the apartment. Also accidentally left a Dream catcher hanging in the window as I forgot to take. They never called me or told me I had left it. So I lost both. Crappy treatment once I asked about leaving. Too bad as my family own rentals in Michigan and always contact former renter before we do anything or atleast try to return items accidently left. . Just make sure you document every conversation. Get everything in writing, and do not believe a word Managers say. Buyer beware.

DONOTMOVETOTHISPLACE! Unless you like being a victim of the ‘ol BAITANDSWITCH!!! The property manager has pulled this on me no less than 3 times in the same year costing me several hundreds of dollars each time. First off, when I first moved in — we did the agreement and everything, then on the day I move in — they conveniently bring up that the move-in fee is $ 330! This is $ 330 more than what they had told me just 3 weeks prior! NOBODYSAIDANYTHINGABOUTTHISFEE, EVENTHOUGH I ASKEDIFTHEREWAS A MOVE-INFEE, THEYSAIDNOPE! I had just spent the entire day moving everything into a UHAUL and drove all the way from the otherside of Tacoma. then they pull this on me and say they won’t allow me to move in without paying $ 330 right there on the spot! WTF!!! Then 2 months ago I finished my contract with the Army(I’m a disabled war veteran, mind you.) was unemployed for a few weeks and feel behind on rent and got an eviction notice. My normal rent is $ 750/month but with the added late fees and attorney/eviction fees it ballooned to what they said was $ 1,000. So I paid the $ 1,000(which they said would bring my balance to ZERO) and thought that was that — WRONG! Not even 2 weeks later I got a second eviction notice, when I asked how much I owed to pay it off they said $ 1,300! How the hell did my rent go from $ 780 to $ 1,300 in just TWOWEEKS!!! Their explanation was«oh, well when you last paid rent you were $ 200 short, so we added it to this months rent» I’m like wow YOUJUSTTOLDME2WEEKSAGOTHAT $ 1,000WOULDBRINGMYBALANCETOZERO, I PAIDTHE $ 1,000ANDNOWALLOF A SUDDENYOURSAYING I WAS $ 200SHORT!!! WTF??? So now, since I couldn’t afford to pay what they asked, I had to get Tacoma Goodwill to pay this month’s rent for me(which they graciously did). I literally had the office print out documents detailing every penny I owed and for what reason — I sent this document to Goodwill just to make sure that all the rent was going to be paid — Goodwill cuts a check based on the figures Breckenridge Heights printed out for them — ANDTHEYCOMEBACKANDSAYSORRYGOODWILL, BUTYOU’RE $ 200SHORT!!! the lady in the office(not manager room) not really friendly and helpful. i was moved from Breckenridge which is Breckenridge Heights sister property but that lady keep telling me stay in Breckenridge is much better and not willing to help me at all. that place is very clean and good location. i like their club house too. everything is fine except that lady in the office.
