This was our first time here at the restaurant and other than the Pepsi being flat at first, they redeemed the dinner with a great dinner. I ordered the mochete with all the different meats. Wow! Our service was a little slow but worth the wait as things were a bit busy on a Friday night. Overall it was great! Well worth the money!

They weren’t busy so service was fast. However, the food was generic tasting Mexican food, nothing special. The salsa is above average as well as the guacamole. Otherwise, average.

Ok but not great. Service was great and fast for a Saturday night. Food was good but not anything special.

We got the Tequila Lime Chicken Salad and the Fajita Salad. The Tequila Lime Salad was bland, came with Iceberg lettuce instead of Romaine, and only had a few small pieces of avocado and tomato. The Fajita Salad was a little better but not impressive at all. Finally the chips we made with flour tortillas instead of corn. Very disappointing for a four star rated restaurant.

Wow! The marinated beef skirt was cooked to perfection, medium rare and very flavorful. Great spacious atmosphere with good Mexican music played but not too loud. Good guacamole too.

This restaurant is the best kept secret in town. The quesadillas are the best I have ever tasted. Service is great so is the wait staff.

Absolutely the best Mexican food and service in Tulsa. Fajitas have a flavor that can’t be beat and the Carnitas are tender and tasty. Antonio our server did an absolutely fantastic job.

We had heard good things about this place. Upon our arrival we were: greeted” by a young msn who said«just two?». In a tone of voice thst gave us the impression he thought the party wasnt large enough. Let me note that we arrived at 6:20 pm. I asked about their happy hour specials and was told the appetizers and drink specials ended at 6. Their website clearly shows both ftom 4 to 7pm. I showed the server on my phone what their website advertises and he said«it is from 3 to 6 and the computer won’t allow us to discount anything after 6». Then he just shrugged his shoulders and left it at that.. One thing I despise is false advertising and the other is lack of decent service. Without ordering we received both in short order. We left and went to Harvard where we know what to expect and El Guapo’s delivered. I doubt we will give Tres Amigos a second chance. Too bad, we love good Mexican food and decent service. I would not have given this place one star but apparently it is required to give a star on Unilocal

I will admit I was surprised. The fajitas were awesome. Tender and flavorful! Will come back for sure. Beats any of the Mexican restaurants on Brookside!

New fave! Mexico City Tacos were delish! It’s not really that busy for a Wednesday night, so it must be a well kept secret.

We’ve frequented Tres Amigos many times. It has always been consistently good. Went with friends last night and sat outside. Perfect weather. They were super busy when we first got there so the service was a bit slower than usual but it was understandable and we were not in a hurry. We all had margaritas-the guys had the top shelf, I had the platinum and my friend had the skinny margarita– and they were all really good-not too sweet and they didn’t skimp on the alcohol. As always, complimentary chips and salsa-was good. I had a combination-a cheese enchilada with cheese sauce, beef taco, rice and beans. Delicious. My husband loved his steak quesadillas. Our friends split beef and chicken fajitas. My friend said the fajita meats were really good, sometimes she has gone to other places and the meats were questionable. This was delicious. Everyone loved their food. The waitstaff was friendly as usual. The atmosphere is fun and casual. Not super trendy, just comfortable. It’s a place where we can have fun, good food and not feel like we have to be dressed up. We sat outside because the weather was so nice. They had a guy singing inside, he was good. I think they may have music every weekend? Highly recommend.

Loved the experience here! A group of 4 of us went around 9pm on a Friday night, and it was busy, but not packed, so we were seated immediately. Recommendations — Margaritas were made very strong, both frozen and on the rocks! They also have a huge menu of different types of margaritas, mojitos(hard to find flavored mojitos in Tulsa, but they have them here!), mudslides(also hard to find in Tulsa!), wine, and more! — The chips are thin, crispy, and fresh, and the salsa was very mild with great flavor, so those who don’t like spicy can still enjoy it. — Their menu had a variety of different foods you do not find at other Mexican places. For example, filet mignon fajitas! I had the avocado stuffed enchiladas with queso on top, and they were amazing… hard to mess up such a great combo. — Their bar is very cool if you just want to grab drinks with plenty of space. The overall atmosphere is classier than your standard El Tequila type place, but you don’t feel the need to dress up at all. This is definitely one of my favorites in Tulsa now. It used to be Los Cabos, but this place is WAY better! I’m looking forward to going back and trying different items!

We love Tres Amigos. I always order the shrimp quesadilla, the sauce on it is out of this world but the last time my husband and I ordered the special which was fajitas for 2 and 2 giant margaritas all for $ 20! The meal was fantastic and the drinks were just as good. I don’t think you can go wrong trying anything on the menu. I can’t wait to go back.

Typical run of the mill Mexican food. Nothing exceptional. Nothing bad. Good service. Been here a few times. I’d go back. It is a little pricey in my opinion.

Our first visit has left us with three thoughts, 1. We are STUFFED and have a ton of food to take home; 2. The service provided by Summer was the best we have had in weeks!: 3. The Avocado & Poblano dip followed by the Volcano Rock were a definite 10! We will definitely be back! The Volcano Rock is the best truly creative Mexican dish I can ever recall.

The waiter had a really bad attitude. The food was mediocre… Nice atmosphere though.

From my son(he’s 12) this place is awesome! This is the second time we’ve eaten here and have been very full and happy across the board. Beautiful restaurant with outside eating area too. Dave room for sopapia!

I got the molcajete and had enough leftovers to last me 4 more meals. The food was very good and the service matched. Even the leftovers tasted excellent on day 4. When it comes to mexican/tex-mex in south tulsa, this seems to be the best.

Well… I am very sad to say I will NEVER be returning to this Mexican restaurant again. EVER. I use to love this place when they first opened. They have amazing drinks and the food was always great too. Until Friday night… around 6pm. My boyfriend, my sister, and myself came in around the same time as our server got 2 other tables. We didn’t mind, we were in no hurry and we were having a great time. We all got a margarita and chorizo queso and awaited our orders. Myself and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp tacos and my sister ordered the steak tacos. It took quite a bit of time before our orders arrived. As our server made sure he plated everyone’s table before ours since he took their orders all before ours. When we got our food my food as well as my boyfriends(we ordered the same thing) was ice cold. Not even room temperature, COLD. We both wanted to send it back but then thought«ehhh we have lead stomachs and we are starving… we’ll be fine.» It didn’t smell, it didn’t taste bad… so we were like«okay, these are cold but whatever» and our waiter didn’t come back until our plates were nearly empty. We didn’t say a word. Just went on with the night and left. Sounds okay right? NO. Around 2am we both woke up green as can be and sharing a toilet… I myself ended up having to go to the guest bathroom as I needed a sink closer to the seat of the toilet. This went on for an entire 24hrs. Dry heaving and stomach acid galore. We both were ill all weekend. On Monday I called the restaurant to let them know of what had happened, as I thought that they would like to know what happened. I spoke w the manager on Monday around 4pm who told me that the shrimp tacos were not supposed to be cold and that he wanted to let his general manager know and he took my name and number and told me that he would have someone call me back. It is now Thursday at 10am… and I have not heard back from a single person. Its sad, as I wasn’t looking for any form of reimbursement I just thought that a great Mexican restaurant that I enjoy going to and have been to many many times would care more about their patrons and at least want to know what they are serving and what the ill effects can be of their own negligence.

Always great service, attentive hosts and wait staff. The interior is clean and nice. Bathrooms too. I always recommend this place for people asking about good Mexican restaurants.
