This place is my guilty pleasure. I know it’s not authentic and Mexican friends of mine joke that it should be called «taco malo» but I will forever love me some mexi dips and chips.

As far as fast food goes… Not horrible. Not impressed with this location for several different reasons, but a big reason is their consistent inability to get my order correct. Time after time, I order food, drive home, and just to my fake surprise… They gave me the wrong order. They never make their wrongs right and their customer service lacks beyond comparison.
Another note: their beans pack more punch than anyone else’s. If you have a date within a 4 – 5 day period of your potential visit, go ahead and do your date a favor and grab a nice sandwich down the street.

I had the worst taco salad I have ever had from a taco Bueno today. For six bucks I should’ve gotten more than a quarter cup of lettuce five or six pieces of chicken and better than a smidgen of cheese and tomatoes!!! Where was the manager or general manager at this taco Bueno at lunchtime? somebody needs to get here and fix it ASAP!!))

If you show up at Bueno wanting food that is flavored only by corporately packaged sauces & Dorito-​brand seasoning (i.e. like Taco Bell), you might be disappointed.
However, if you want real food, cooked with real flavor, and a decent price with quick service, Taco Bueno is your spot!
Five stars in the line of fast-​food restaurant spots!
I can confidently recommend the BOB with Chicken, and I added onions & jalapeños from the condiment bar. :) I will SO be back!

Really??? Taco Bell is better?
I can only assume you went on a bad night, as most everyone in Tulsa prefers Bueno over Taco Bell.
I’ve been going to Bueno for over 25 years and the only thing that has really changed is the soda. They used to crank up the amount of syrup in the pop to make it «sweeter» than anyone else.
Man, if you think Taco Bell is better, enjoy it. I will keep on going to Bueno until I really notice a negative turn.

Fast food Mexican, far from its finest.
The queso (melted cheese) is far from good tasting.
There is a fresh salsa/​condiment bar with a nice selection.
The food quality is a step below Taco Bell, so that is not saying much. The ground beef has a bad greasy taste to it.
