Service is dead. I think all of the employees are under the age of 20 and clueless. I’m sad to see a department store who used to be committed to service fade. I haven’t had a pleasant experience the past FOUR times I’ve shopped here. SLOW cashiers talking about themselves and their lives. Do us a favor, check us out, know how to do that, and that alone. PERIOD. Thank you.

Love the markdowns at JCP, but Saturdays are not the day to visit. It ends up looking like a garage sale, just messy and disorganized. I’d rather go during the week when it’s less hectic. This visit I stayed mainly in the men’s area finding work clothes for my hubby, but I do like browsing the shoes and purses. This store is strictly clothing, no housewares — for that you’ll need to visit the JCP Home Store down 71st near Best Buy. Good selection of brands and great clearance if you can find your size. The dressing rooms need a little makeover, and the men’s restroom is hard to find(in the kids area… really), but overall this old building is in decent condition.

Went to Home Store on 71st Street in Tulsa this morning. Negotiated a purchase yesterday. Went today to pay and arrange delivery. Stood in store with check in hand and they could not get me closer on delivery than which day it was. After requesting a better estimate of delivery time was told«there is nothing I can do». Left store and called manager of location, same story. Not once did an employee or the manager make even the slightest effort to work with me on my request. It is a shame that a company sets up a system that puts it’s employees in a position to let a $ 3,500 sale walk out the door with no avenues to salvage the sale. It is equally disappointing that none of the people involved understood that this is a problem. Will not be purchasing from JCP again.
