HIGHLY recommend staying at this awesome hotel if traveling through Tulsa. Cool. Contemporary. Clean. OUTSTANDING friendly customer service from front desk to servers to cleaners. FREE breakfast with nice choices(even a pancake maker and strawberry shortcake muffin). The only thing they didn’t have for breakfast that I wish they had was granola(instead they had pecans). Opened 2 months ago.

Nice new hotel with friendly staff. Good choice of restaurants in the area. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. They could step up their breakfast preperation a bit. I am a frequent traveler and a Spire member with the IHG chain. In regard to another review about not letting them use the WiFi. I am glad they did not. In today’s day and age electronic theft can be a big concern. Why should paying customers be subject to someone that could possibly just be trying to get on the network to steal data. There happens to be a few McDonalds around, and I’m sure Starbucks that offer free WiFi.

In my many years of corporate travel and lodging experiences, I’ve always felt that how a property treats their non-paying visitors is a good indication of the kind of service you’ll get if you check in. Today, while traveling on I44 east toward St. Louis, I needed to make a stop to do about a half-hour of laptop work. I explained what I needed and asked quite nicely if they would mind if I could use their Wi-Fi. The young front clerk didn’t feel comfortable answering the question herself, so she meekly went into the back office. After a moment or two she came out and said that«unfortunately», since I wasn’t a guest, they ‘couldn’t’ allow me to sit and use their Wi-Fi. Really what they should have said was that they WEREN’T going to grant me my small favor. In this day and age of company’s trying to extend the best customer service experience possible, I was taken aback by their response. Fortunately I had just the opposite experience next door at the Hilton Garden Inn. Unfortunately, Unilocal doesn’t allow a Zero rating because that’s what they would get from me.
