The room we stayed in(104) was not at all clean. The King bed had clean sheets, but the bumpy mattress was uncomfortable and came with flat worthless pillows. The bathroom was dirty, a slider shower stall coated with hard water & surrounded with broken & grimy tile. A 1-cup coffee maker shoved inside the bathroom.(gross) The carpet was soiled and breathing was difficult inside the room. To top it off no wi-fi and the clerk could not make it operate and gave us a number to call ATT for technical support… just what I wanted to do today! So you look for a phone book… none. Paper to write on? No. This was not a pleasant experience by any sense of the imagination. It has not been my experience that Hampton is like this, but I will not take a chance again by trying it again.

I was traveling on business and booked a room here. Heath was working the front desk and he was extremely polite and helpful. The Room was very nice and clean. The only negative was the TV was a little small for the room. I saw a negative review here. I am Hilton Diamond and it seems that review was not deserved. I would book here again in a heartbeat.

This place gets two stars instead of more because of two things: 1) The idiot working the front desk and 2) The speed(or lack thereof) of the housekeeping staff. Actually it’s probably all just the management’s fault. After all, they hired the guy whose standard answer is «I don’t know» as their frontman. They also schedule housekeeping staff, and obviously don’t care that one maid has to clean every room on a Saturday morning when a block of rooms has been reserved for a wedding that starts at 6 pm. We called at 2 to see if we could check in early(the BRIDE called). They told her ‘no’ and that we would all have to check in at the regular time which was 3 pm. So we all drove down together and arrived at 3:15. The wedding suite was the only room ready, leaving all three bridesmaids and the bride to finish getting ready in one room, in 45 minutes. After toiling the day away at the reception hall, the three of us wedding guests, dripping with sweat, had to wait an extra hour to check in. After an iced latte at Starbucks down the street, we strolled in an hour later only to be told by the front desk doofus that he wasn’t sure if our room was ready just yet. He asked us to go upstairs and ask the maid, who was cleaning room 409 at the time, if she could kindly clean room 414 next. We went upstairs, prepared to drop her a twenty, only to find that our room was indeed clean. The reason this hotel gets more than one star is because the room was beautiful and nicely decorated. I didn’t actually sleep there, but I laid on the bed for 5 minutes and felt rejuvenated. The furniture was a la Pottery Barn, and for most people in rural Oklahoma who don’t expect things to happen quickly, they’d probably think this was a five-star hotel.
