What happened? This place used to be great. Service is bad. We were seated and ignored for about 10 to 15 minutes. My Daughter ordered a Steak cook medium and it came out very rare. I sent it back and it came out very well done. Come on guys. Be better. I’ll be rooting for you from a distance.

Completely love this place! Service is always great waitresses are so sweet. For going on a Saturday night we expected lots of people but were seated right away and got our meal right away. Their food is amazing this is the only steakhouse I have ever gone to multiple times that I never have an issue with my order. I get the same steak every time and it’s cooked perfect and the mashed potatoes are just amazing! I have never had to send my meal back and hope I never have to, this place is so worth the money! Highly recommend.

Visited this Restraunt on the Mother’s Day weekend. I knew they would be crowded, but we arrived and decided to eat in the bar to avoid the wait. Our service was fine, no problems. But… our food was horrid! I order the prime rib special. Worst meat I have ever gotten in a restraunt before. I ordered med rare, but it was raw!, not even warm. So tough I could not cut or chew it. Took home to my dog, he even turned up his nose @ it. On the way out I saw several chefs out back smoking, maybe they should pay attention to what there serving instead of worrying when there next smoke break is! I will not be returning.

Stop by on our way home and was a bit disappointed. This is my 3rd time at Cool Hand Luke’s and the food wasn’t the same. I ordered a steak and it came out lukewarm. Shrimp on top of the steak was cold and had no flavor. My family members ordered a salad, chicken club and the chicken and mushrooms. Plus a kids chicken critter meal. We all had the same response which was we were a bit disappointed. Food didn’t have much flavor. We got there around 4 and I think there were maybe 10 people in the entire restaurant. Call it weird timing or maybe the food isn’t what it once was. I am willing to try this place again to see if they can once again compete with the Tahoe Joe’s of the world.

The two stars are for our service, it was very good, not our waitress’ fault for the food. We started with the calamari appetizer, it’s a calamari steak fried and sliced with butter poured over it, kind of weird but was ok. We each got the steak and lobster special… my salad had part completely wilted lettuce and lettuce from the core of the head. his clam chowder was not warm… the lobster was completely over cooked and tasteless the butter to dip on the side was most likely vegetable oil. no taste at all… The steak was just ok, very thin. The savior of our meal was our baked potatoes… As a business owner I don’t understand, how hard is it to double check small details? Is the soup hot? The salad fresh? A sprinkle of salt here or there? If we ever eat here again I’ll prob stick with something cheap like a burger and not spend 130 $ for a subpar meal.

I love a good hamburger! Unfortunately this is not a place to get a good hamburger. I can’t believe I just spent over $ 10 for this inedible piece of shoe leather. And this is the second one they brought out. The first one was so over cooked that was dry as a bone and somewhat crunchy. There was a well done tag stuck in it. The waiter never asked me how I wanted it cooked. So when I sent it back and requested one cooked medium rare I received a medium well cooked one and just kept it after having to practically yell at our waiter to get him to the table to send it back. I tried eating the burger but not only was it dry but it had no flavor. After the second one being so disappointing the waiter took the hamburger off our bill. That was nice of him but it ruined my dinner.

Well I was not impressed. I ordered a ribeye medium well and it came out welldone. Also had a skewer of vegetables, not much on choice two slices of bell pepper a raw red onion and a small piece of corn. My wife ordered short ribs as on the menu, got a short rib maybe 4 Oz of meat on stale mashed potato. Not good for price.

Mediocre food. Ribs were eaithwe over charred or undercooked. The«free beans» they give is rather watery. They smother their steak in swampy mushroom mess. Both times servers were polite. But hosts dont greet and waiting for the host to complete a phone orser before she even says hello to ask what you want is not ok.

Very good food. Down home taste. No need for salt and pepper. Food had good seasoning and very tasty. You must try the raspberry Chipotle ribs. That sauce is amazing. Our waiter Brentley took very good care of us and was very knowledgeable of the menu and specials. Can’t wait to come back. True southern hospitality!

We have been here 3 – 4 times and never have been disappointed. Tonight we visited for me mom’s birthday, she was visiting from out of town. She was feeling like a steak. We arrived at about 5 pm, an hour after opening. We were a party of six and seated immediately. The manager did ask if the party was all present, which it was, so no issue with waiting. Our server took our drink orders immediately and was very friendly. She was on top of all of our needs throughout our dinner. We all enjoyed our meals, starting with the dinner rolls, salads and family style beans. We ordered the battered artichoke hearts as we usually do, delicious. Our steaks were all cooked to order. My daughter had the pork wings, she preferred the raspberry chipotle sauce over the barbecue. She said she would order them again. The twice baked potatoes are also very good. We finished with the molten lava chocolate cake. It comes with a side of vanilla ice cream. Let’s just say there wasn’t any left. Two thumbs up for this visit.

Over the years I have willed myself to give this restaurant second and third chances at redemption. They seem to always disappoint. The unfriendly service begins when you can’t be seated until your entire party arrives; and not only that but your wait timer doesn’t even begin at your moment of arrival, it starts when your entire party arrives. And of course they do not take reservations. We arrived at our table only to find it was filthy with food all over the seats and a sticky countertop. While waiting for it to be cleaned, with our rears in the faces of other diners, a salad went careening to the floor; so that at least provided entertainment. We had to ask for utensils and plates; orders of beers were forgotten, and the meal was ehh. I will say the food was better than my previous visits, but it’s always one or the other, never good service AND good food. This restaurant could be way more than it is, with a little effort. Good luck if you’re willing to give Cool Hand Luke’s a chance. I hope to someday be surprisingly impressed.

Service was good. Food was sad at best. Tri tip was tough as a leather sneaker. Chicken kabob tasted frozen and the pulled pork was just a nasty mess. We’ve been to the one in Fresno and it was awesome. This one needs an update and what ever is dead near the bathroom needs to be remove. Owner seem not to care to let things go. Pass on this place!!!

I can not even give them 1 star… Went for our Christmas office party, service was horrible, food was not even good. Some of us ordered château Briand for two and it was not even big Enough for one. Also they did not offer any dipping sauces, so really we just had a fillet. The service was very slow it took us ½ hr. to get one drink. Live and learn, we will never go there again and I will tell as many people as I know not to go there.

Great place to eat if you’re in the area looking for your classic steakhouse or a giant burger and fries. There’s a sports bar if that’s your thing, and a completely separate sit down dining area, which I really like. The service is fast and courteous, and the food is well prepared. No complaints over the years I’ve been stopping here on business trips. Only reason no five stars is this place doesn’t have that«one thing» that makes them stands out from others like them.

If I could give them 0 stars I would!!! My parents moved all the way from Florida and surprised me! We wanted to go to a really nice dinner since we hadn’t seen each other in over a year. So we went here… The waiter was nice and attentive… But that was it! My mom and I ordered medium steaks… Our steaks came out and both were way over cooked. So we sent them back. The second time mine came out and it was cooked medium rare but I decided that was fine, but my mom’s steak came out raw. So she sent it back again and this time it came out over cooked again! My mom was tired and not feeling good so she went back to the hotel while we waited for her 4th steak to come out. They finally brought it and it was overcooked again but we were like no more!!! We asked for our check and they were still charging us for a steak that was sent back 3 times!!! We asked to speak to a manger and the waiter pleaded with us to not complain about him because if he received one more complaint he would be fired. The manager finally came out and was extremely rude to us and was basically said«well what do you want me to do» we told him we wanted the steak removed from our bill… So he grabbed the check and took off… He didn’t even come back to hand us the new bill… The waiter came back and when we looked at the bill, the manager only took off $ 10!!! The steak alone was over $ 15… We just paid and left… We later tried calling corporate to tell them of our experience and they never called us back… Terrible terrible experience!!!

This place tries hard to be something it’s not. It just didn’t work. Food: 3 stars… blehhhhhhh subpar prime rib. Price: 1 star… overpriced. Too many other quality and lower priced choices within walking distance. Service: 5 star… from the nice young lady who sat us to our waitress(Sandra?), we were very pleased with the staff :)

Nice place :-) Big portions, reasonably priced, great experience. Chicken fried steak is huge and I’m told very good. I ordered the ribeye rare… cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Careful though if garlic isn’t your thing. This steak comes topped with a huge amount of flavorful, delicious garlic and mushrooms!(I’m a fan!) I opted for an upgraded side of asparagus and highly recommend. For dessert I took a slice of strawberry pizza back to my hotel… my only disappointment, as it was a let down. The strawberries had no flavor.
