Taco Del Mar

If hugging the toilet seat all evening is your idea of fun, then step right up to this petri dish of a food chain. The atmosphere is that of a halfway house, due to the Walmart that this dump is neighbors to. The nail salon and smoke shop are on either side of this hidden gem, and nothing reminds me of the sea like the smell of acetone.
The prices are just enough to make you believe you are paying for a healthy meal, however, I’m positive that pico de Gallo isn’t orange.
As a lover of freshness, taste, and my lower intestine, this place was a total disappointment. However, if you find yourself here, in this particular region of the Pacific Northwest, the menu is the least of your troubles.

Update: Every time we’ve gone since then, 5+ different people to put my «two enchilada platter» together have forgotten to put it in the microwave. One lady even gave me attitude when I politely asked her to put it in the microwave. (Otherwise the tortilla is hard and chicken is cold)
I didn’t know why it was so wrong 3 different times I brought it home. I had to throw out the tortilla. I brought it to the «bad attitude» lady’s attention and she didn’t offer to give me anything free. In fact, somehow it was 5 $ more than normal.
I am on my way there now, hopefully working, is the guy who actually puts enough chicken & toppings! :-D That guy needs a raise!

TACO DEL MAAARR!

Taco Del Mar locations can vary, and I have always found this one to have good food and customer service. If at any time something was not as warm or as fresh as I desired, they were very accommodating.
If you have never eaten at a Taco Del Mar, they specialize in mission-​style burritos, but also make other things like tacos, nachos, salads, etc. They are known for their fish tacos. When you enter, you walk along directing how you want your burrito (or whatever) assembled. You have a choice of several tortillas, meats, salsas, etc. It’s a nice casual place to get some fresh food without breaking the bank. (If you eat here very often, you can get a punch card and earn free food.) My whole family, kids included, enjoys eating here — even my annoyingly picky eater.

Not the best Taco Dell Mar I’ve been to. The food is a let down, it was barely warm. Costumer service is either a hit or miss with this location. I don’t think i’ll be returning. I’ll just pick up from the local taco truck.

This was my first time to a Taco Del Mar, but I’d been wanting to try it, having grown up in Texas and being a huge fan of such gems as Taco Cabana and Taco Bueno.
It was pretty «meh.» It was satisfying and the girl who put my burrito together did a great job, but the fresh rice tasted like canned tomatoes, the pico de gallo had HUGE chunks of onions, and the tortilla only served as a sticky vessel for the fillings.
I will say, however, that it’s refreshing to have the option of getting a smaller «mondito» burrito, since the standard size at places like Chipotle and Qdoba are simply massive.
Like I said, it was satisfying, it tasted okay… but it wasn’t stellar. If you want something to fill a void in your stomach, it’s definitely a better $ 5 choice than McDonald’s.

This is one of the worst TDM’s that we’ve tried. Not very friendly, unsanitary food handling. My daughter, after seeing the way the worker handled the food, couldn’t eat her burrito. We tossed it.

Taco Del Mar is the tits. They have such good food and it’s cheap. I wouldn’t go as far as to say they are the best Mexican fast food out there (ahem, Taco Time!), but they are one of my favorite places to go eat. I highly recommend the fish tacos by the way!

Every location is a little bit different but this is one of my favorites! Great Service, Great Food, Great Location! Love that I can get a small sized Tomato tortilla here without being charged extra. Most locations only have the flour variety in the small tortilla :)
